Most staff, except for the friendly front desk team and the two Black ladies at breakfast who were very lovely, were extremely rude. Interactions often felt tense and could escalate for no reason.
Asking questions or making reasonable comments was met with hostility. For instance, we asked about guests reserving pool chairs at 9 a.m. and not using them until the afternoon, which happened frequently. The pool waiter rudely stated that guests can ”do whatever they want” and refused to address the issue. How is this even acceptable at a place where the number of seats is very limited? Every luxury hotel has a policy against such practice...
As others have mentioned, staff treat guests inconsistently. We followed a couple into the restaurant who was warmly greeted by the manager, but when we passed by and said hello, we received only a cold stare without a smile.The staff's behavior falls far short of 5-star hotel standards."
