"The hotel itself is well located and has a certain charm. The furniture is quite old, but in a way it adds character to the place. The staff we interacted with were generally kind and polite.
However, we had a very upsetting experience with the Ramadan buffet restaurant.
We arrived at the hotel around 6:00 PM after a long day of travel with two flights (Phuket to Kuala Lumpur and Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi). My mother had been fasting all day for Ramadan and had not eaten or drunk anything.
When we saw that the restaurant was preparing the Ramadan buffet, my mother sat down hoping to break her fast there. Unfortunately we were refused and told that reservations had to be made one day in advance.
This was very surprising for us, as we had just arrived in the country and could not possibly have reserved the day before.
We were directed to another nearby restaurant, but after waiting more than one hour we still had not received any food. During that time my mother — who had been fasting all day — still had nothing to eat, and my two-year-old child was crying because he was hungry.
In the end, my mother was only able to eat about two hours after the time of breaking the fast.
Aside from this very difficult experience, the hotel itself is pleasant and the staff are friendly. However, I hope the management will consider being more flexible and understanding in situations like this, especially for guests observing Ramadan and families traveling with young children."

"Excellent hotel at a very low price. There is everything you need. The room has a refrigerator, TV, comfortable large bed, air conditioning! At the exit from the hotel there is a dispenser, there is an ironing board with an iron and a microwave oven! Registration at the hotel is electronic, remote, you do not need to leave any deposit! The only small drawback is the location of the hotel. It is some distance from shops and attractions! But if you have a car or scooter, for you this will not be a problem! I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone! Especially suitable for a quiet family holiday near nature!"

"This hotel is located right on Central Beach in Langkawi, and our overall stay was quite good. We were so satisfied after the first night that we decided to extend our stay by an extra day. Our initial room was right by a small pool, offering direct access, and it was also close to the beach, with a very pleasant environment and view.
When we extended our stay, the hotel moved us to a different room. This new room was a bit further from the beach, and we noticed more mosquitoes. We asked the front desk if they had mosquito coils, but were told we'd have to buy them ourselves, which was a minor inconvenience, though thankfully, we weren't bitten that night. We suspect the room change might be because the poolside room, with its better view, is preferred for new arrivals to enhance their initial experience.
The hotel's surroundings are very convenient. Turning right out of the hotel, there's a small shop about 200 meters away where you can buy flip-flops or rent a scooter at a reasonable price, which greatly boosted our convenience and overall happiness during our stay.
Just a short walk north along the beach, there's a place that's both a Western restaurant and a bar. In the evenings, they have a fireworks show right outside, creating a fantastic atmosphere. Prices are also very reasonable there; a beer costs around 12 MYR and ice cream is 8 MYR, with most guests being European and American tourists. Enjoying a drink and watching the show with the sound of the waves at night was incredibly relaxing.
Finally, let's talk about breakfast. For a hotel in this price range, the breakfast quality is highly commendable. Compared to hotels of a similar price (around 500 RMB) during peak season in Qinhuangdao, China, this hotel offers significantly better value for money. Plus, during the off-season, neither the beach nor the pool gets crowded, allowing for very relaxed swimming and holiday enjoyment. The overall vacation vibe was wonderfully comfortable."

"Online reviews mentioned that staying in Kuah Town would be quieter, but since it's surrounded by seafood restaurants and roads, there were still motorcycle noises around 11 PM or 12 AM. However, it didn't bother us late sleepers, and it quieted down even later. In comparison, Pantai Cenang, being by the sea, would be much quieter. The room felt like an older 4-star hotel. I stayed in a twin room the first night and a king room the second, and for 300, it was generally good value for money. There's an I-Bing bubble tea shop nearby with delicious taro milkshakes, and it's also very close to Wonderland. Parking is very convenient and free."

"The amenities and cleanliness need a lot more improvement. The alignment of the door hinge need to readjust again as the door need push and pull hardly to open and close the door. The water pressure of the shower too small and the drainage of the bathtub it seems a little bit clogged. The cleanliness of the is much more need attention, as I saw the dust at the aircond that had been long time not cleaned. It's located on Cenang Beach and Central Beach, which boasts a long coastline perfect for swimming. "My stay at Langkapuri Inn didn’t quite live up to my expectations, to be honest. The room was definitely spacious, but the interior felt rather basic and could be improved. Adding simple furniture, such as a couch, would make the space more comfortable. The washroom, in particular, could benefit from some renovation.
That said, the rooftop area is a nice highlight — it’s a relaxing spot to unwind at night, and they even screen movies there, which creates a chill atmosphere. The location is also convenient. It’s an easy walk to Pantai Cenang, and there are plenty of food options nearby.
Overall, while the facilities could use some upgrading, the location and rooftop vibe are definite plus points."

"Book 2 rooms for 3 nights. 1 room have shampoo and body wash another don’t have. 1st day check in one room air con is not cold at all ask the counter and advise need to wait 3-4hrs at that point of time we reach the hotel when check in about 9pm so we go out find food come bk 11+pm still not cold. Another room air con acceptable.
Realise the toilet bowl and basin and shower water is yellowish ask the counter and claim is like that. Then I have to buy bottles of mineral to brush teeth.
Bed got a lot of stain. 2nd night we check out and book another hotel. Which was fantastic.
The lobby air con is more colder than the room.
Will not stay in this hotel 1st and the last time."

GGuest UserThe rooms are located on a private, secluded island, just a ten-minute boat ride from Langkawi's Cenang Jetty. There's an hourly boat service for transfers, and a dedicated meeting point at Cenang Jetty, which is very thoughtful. We booked a king-sized bed and paid an extra 110 per day, including breakfast, for a child's additional bed. We explored the island on our own and noticed some abandoned facilities that looked like they used to be part of another hotel. Contrary to some reviews, the hotel didn't offer a daily 8:30 AM guided trek for guests; you either walk by yourself or hire a guide for 120 MYR. If you walk alone, you're warned about an 800 MYR rescue fee if anything goes wrong. The name 'Trip.com' (携程) sounds enticing, but honestly, Langkawi's ecosystem is generally very good; I think Trip.com's descriptions might be a bit exaggerated. We followed old signposts to Red Rock Beach, where there's a cave, saw many pitcher plants and hornbills, and even met a French couple heading back. We had to turn back quickly ourselves, worried about the rising tide, as it was getting late. This beach, unfortunately, was quite littered, and even the private island didn't seem well-maintained.
The hotel grounds are like a garden with many monkeys; apparently, you can feed them peanuts at specific times. Staff often chase them away. The hotel's coastline isn't very long, and the water is crystal clear in the morning. There are corals but hardly any fish, though we saw many sea cucumbers and hermit crabs. Food on the island is definitely pricier than in Langkawi and not particularly tasty, just passable. There's a convenience store on the jetty where we even had an instant pizza. Hiking on the island was quite interesting; it took us over two hours round trip.

NNiliudashuLocation, convenience, beach, ambiance, rooms, entertainment, dining – there's hardly anything to complain about. If I had to nitpick, first, there are too few designated smoking areas! Second, the rooftop infinity pool is strictly for guests aged 18 and above, which feels quite unreasonable. Many guests come with their families, and it's not like you can just ditch your kids to go for a swim. This policy excludes many from enjoying the experience.
For breakfast, try to go early and grab a seat near the water for a great experience.
The hotel is situated on Cenang Beach, which has very fine sand. The water isn't crystal clear, but it's acceptable.
The room's minibar offers a good variety of drinks, plus two small snack bags that are refilled daily by the staff.
You absolutely MUST choose a sea-view room. We opted for the Premium Sea View, which had an L-shaped sofa on the balcony. I actually slept there one night, facing the ocean, under the moonlight, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves – it was absolutely wonderful.
The room was also spacious enough, nearly 70 square meters, making it very comfortable for a family of three.
The gym doesn't have a huge variety of equipment, but it's sufficient and open 24 hours. There are two pools: one for adults and one for all ages.
Regarding food, the hotel has several restaurants, and there's also a beach BBQ with a fire dance show for 198 per person, which isn't expensive. It's also not far from Zhong Hua Seafood Restaurant and Hidden Bar, making dining very convenient. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Langkawi.

LLiwaThe room was decent, quite spacious. The birds in the courtyard started chirping early in the morning, which was a bit noisy, but other than that, it was pretty quiet. Yellow Club is diagonally opposite, about a 10-minute walk away. It's an ideal spot for watching the sunset. The breakfast area is a bit small, so if you go at the wrong time, you might encounter a crowd and have to wait in line. Breakfast is a set menu, with about five or six options to choose from.

SSharifah ZThe hotel and the surrounding is ok. Close and have access to beach. Unfortunately, room is quite small, and the tv has very poor signal. When i complained, the counter said, the issue was not faced by me, it was a common issue with all rooms, and the hotel is in the process to rectify it. I am.sure the issue is not new. How could they just close one eye. The breakfast is just ok, nothing extra. I had asked for late checkout (by 1 pm) and the hotel.said ok the night before. But around 11.45 am and 1230 pm, i received 2 separate calls asking me to check out. When i told them i was granted checkout until 1pm..they said thwy were not aware. Therw was no note. So the hotel has a lot to imrove.
The tv is not a smart tv also. So nothing u cam do. With no.channel, the only option was to turn it ofc

FFifi MatsThe hotel is located a short drive from the airport; but also tucked away from the noise of the city. Taxi fare to tourist hotspots is generally low (MYR11-23) due to its convenient location. Perfect for travellers who want a scenic and tranquil break from their busy lives, but also want easy access to shops and nightlife (food stalls, etc.). Super neat rooms and excellent staff all around. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect score is because the fitness room needs some work, and it takes about half an hour for the a/c in there to cool the space down. Not great if you want a quick workout before heading out for the day. Overall, highly recommend! I would come back here again without a second thought. Worth every penny!

GGuest UserBook sea view studio at a higher price due to the Chinese New Year holidays. Waited for almost 2 over hrs before room is ready when close to 3pm. However was very disappointed when check into room n as seaview studio room on 7th floor is blocked by a hill in the center n major construction looking down from the balcony. Request for a change of room to higher floor, view rooms on 2 other higher floors and finally settled on the 11th floor which is a better seaview eventot the hill in front with construction site is still there. Would rate the hotel only at probably 4 stars or below with average rooms furnishings , average spread breakfast, spots bad maintained cleanliness over the public areas n a rooftop which is squeezing all sunbathe chairs n tables n a bar with an average size swimming pool. Reception staffs are not as well trained but they are trying their best to fulfill most guests queries. The rooftop is quite windy but offers good photo view. This hotel should be relatively new only opened a few years ago but idoesn’t match the prices of a 5 stars or 5 diamonds rated.

My stay at A Coral Reefs Resort from 21–23 March started off acceptable, but what happened after check-out was deeply disappointing and raises serious concerns about the hotel’s professionalism and integrity.
After I had already left the property and arrived at the airport, I received a call accusing me of being involved in a missing RM1200 reported by three foreign guests. This accusation was based solely on a vague CCTV clip showing me sitting in the lobby and putting something into my pocket.
Let me be absolutely clear: such an allegation, made without concrete evidence, is irresponsible and unacceptable.
The hotel’s account of the incident was inconsistent and unreliable. I was first told the money was left on a table, and later it was claimed to be inside a pair of pants. The inability to establish even the most basic facts seriously calls into question the credibility of the entire claim.
Even more concerning is the timeline. If the alleged incident took place on 21 March, why was I only contacted on 23 March, after I had already checked out and reached the airport? This delay reflects either poor internal handling or a lack of proper investigation.
The CCTV clip provided was incomplete and unclear. It merely shows me placing my own personal belongings (my phone and medicated oil) into my pocket. There is absolutely no evidence that I handled or took any cash.
Relying on such selective and inconclusive footage to imply wrongdoing is not only unprofessional, but also unfairly damaging to a guest’s reputation.
We have formally requested the full CCTV footage to ensure transparency and proper verification of facts. Failure to provide complete and unedited recordings will only further undermine the credibility of this accusation.
If this matter is not handled appropriately, we will not hesitate to escalate it through formal complaint channels.
Guests should be aware that without clear evidence, this establishment is willing to cast suspicion based on assumptions rather than facts.

GGuest UserIf you're traveling with kids, book a room by the pool. Just slide the glass door and you're right in the water. The breakfast is really good, with a lot of protein. Refill service is super fast. Even during busy season, the buffet stays well-stocked through breakfast. The beach has plenty of sun beds, and the spot itself is fantastic. That said, in my experience, the jet skis and other activities make the beach and nearby area feel more commercial than private. It’s not your typical huge resort with buggies and all-inclusive, but it’s perfect for a quick two-night stay, good breakfast, clean beach, and sunbathing.. Cenang Mall is about a 15-minute walk, and there are lots of small restaurants nearby. Keep in mind, when we stayed there, there was construction next door, so the views and noises weren’t ideal for a holiday.

MMienami YusofIt is a great experience to stay at the Hotel for 3 nights. The food was very good during breakfast and the cafe on the roof top is fantastic with very good food, beautiful views and friendly staff. Not to forget the Infinity Swimming Pool.
