The check-in process was smooth, and I was quickly escorted to my room, which had a stunning view of the sea. Waking up each morning to the sight of calm blue waters and lush green surroundings was incredibly peaceful and helped me disconnect from the stress of daily life.
The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very cozy, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a long day of exploring. "I recently stayed at Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah and had a really pleasant experience. The hotel is located about 20 minutes from Langkawi International Airport and only around 5 minutes away from the popular Pantai Cenang area, making it convenient while still being away from the busy crowds.
Check-in was smooth and fast, and there is plenty of parking available for guests. I would highly recommend renting a car when staying here as it makes exploring the island much easier.
The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. One thing that stood out was the bathroom, which was surprisingly large compared to most hotels. The hotel facilities are excellent too. There is a nice swimming pool, a well-equipped gym, and a kids' playroom on the third floor, making it suitable for both couples and families.
Breakfast was one of the highlights of the stay. There was a good variety of food, including both local Malaysian dishes and Western options, so there was something for everyone. On the ground floor, there is a Starbucks for coffee lovers, as well as the hotel's bar and lounge where guests can relax in the evening. A pool table is also available for those looking for some entertainment.
Although the hotel is not directly on the beach, Pantai Tengah is only about a 5-minute walk away. The hotel even provides a complimentary buggy service to take guests there. Personally, I preferred Pantai Tengah over Pantai Cenang because it is much less crowded, quieter, and more relaxing. It is a great place to enjoy the beach, especially if you want to avoid the busy tourist crowds.
Overall, Aloft Langkawi offers a great combination of comfort, modern facilities, good food, and a convenient location. It is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Langkawi, whether for a family holiday, a couple's getaway, or a relaxing staycation."

4. **Staff:** The front desk staff are friendly and enthusiastic.
5. **Elevators:** Four elevators make getting around very convenient.
6. **Corridors:** The hallways feature a traditional Southeast Asian architectural style.
7. **Rooms:** Spacious rooms with partial sea views.
8. **Breakfast:** Wide variety of choices including Western, Chinese, and Malay options.
9. **Pools:** Located on the second floor, there's an outdoor swimming pool, an infant pool, a regular pool, and a dedicated pool for Muslim women. You can also order food to be delivered poolside. The changing rooms are very large.

"The location was great and the staff were Friendly. However, service was quite slow for food and drinks. The beach wasn't ranked or cleaned regularly and there were often cups and stuff like empty coconuts left from the previous night when we would go to the beach in the morning (like 10am so not insanely early).
The room was nice but dated and the regular cleaning staff did well, but it needed a deep clean. For example, the Windows we're dirty (on The outside) and the inside was a bit moldy from the ac unit causing condensation.
The coconut the frog has was left there on the table.

Stayed here with my family and overall we had a pleasant stay. The resort grounds are beautiful, spacious and full of greenery, giving a relaxing kampung-style tropical vibe. The beach is just a short walk away and the sunset view was amazing.
The swimming pool was one of our kids' favourite spots. Staff were generally friendly and check-in was smooth. The room was comfortable and suitable for families.
However, we experienced an issue during our stay where several family members developed itchy rashes/insect bites. We are not completely certain of the source, but it affected our overall experience and caused some concern, especially with young children.
Despite that, the resort itself is beautiful, family-friendly and located in a great area near Pantai Cenang. Hopefully the resort can look into this matter to ensure future guests have a more comfortable stay."

"We stayed at the hotel in May 2026. We really liked the hotel; it was an authentic, peaceful place. On the way to the beach (100 meters), we saw beautiful birds, a large turtle with a bright head, and even a funny spectacled langur sitting in the bushes and munching on grass.
And the most important thing was the incredibly sweet and affectionate cat who lived on the hotel grounds. We fed her a meat pouch every day and she hardly left our house. It was incredibly hard to part with her. If she had lived closer to Malaysia, we would have taken her with us.
A huge request to everyone visiting the hotel: please feed her some meat; you can buy pouches at any store. It saddens me to think that she's waiting for me there, hungry, outside the house. I miss her and cry..."

"My stay at frangipani was better than what I expected. The resorts location is ideal for island vacation, perfect blend of untouched beach and resorts ecosystem is extraordinary.
The staff is very helpful, polite and attentive. I found my room was very clean plus house keeping was to the point. The swimming pools are maintained well.

"The amenities were great,( i didnt try, but they look nice), nice infinity pool, located at the beach side. Breakfast area was nice, great deaogn, food variation was okay. I get to enjoy a nice sunset at the beach. The downside is the cleanliness of the room. The room smells of cigarette, so I asked for room freshener. They came and sprayed, but the smell still linger. I didnt say anything since I was quite tired. The floor was not vacuum, I can feel the sand on the floor when I stepped into the room, there are a lot at the room entrance. I had to wear slipper everytime. The space near the toilet was a bit cleaner, but still can feel the sand. It is not comfortable to pray. The WC was dirty, got yellowish stain at the bowl. The check in experience was not really smooth for me. I arrived at 1pm, asking if I can check in early, and they said the room was not ready, so I understand. I waited for 40 minutes, but it was still not ready. Then I went out for work, came back at 6.30 pm, but the check in was still not ready, and I need to wait for a while to get my room card even though they said that a room was assigned, I thought they have checked in for me, but no, they asked for my ID again. I left my luggage earlier, and they just left it in the open. The window locked was broken, even when I try to close, it opened by itself, no wonder I can hear the loud music and animal sound (like a bird or something, its loud and i can here it throughout my stay) I only realized that the window opened itself in the morning because the lock was broken, no wonder the aircond was not cold. I didnt realize because i didnt open the curtain till the next morning. Overall experience was not so good with the room, I was tired and upset with the room cleanliness. Apart from the ambience and the pool area, I dont think the hotel is up to 4-star standard in terms of cleanliness and hospitality."

My room was to die for, very dreamy and for sure I used the jacuzzi every time I could, the view was spectacular, the food was delicious, the fire show was very cool. I didn’t want to leave. I 100%%% recommend it.

SSuzie RFrom the moment we arrived, this hotel exceeded all expectations. The views across the sea were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise — waking up each morning to those stunning colours over the water was a real highlight of the stay.
The hotel facilities were excellent, with large swimming pools for both adults and children, plenty of comfortable sunbeds available throughout the day, and two fantastic bars. The swim-up bar was perfect for relaxing in the pool with a drink, while the beach bar created a wonderful laid-back atmosphere right by the sea. Evening entertainment was varied and enjoyable, adding to the overall holiday experience without ever feeling overwhelming.
The food was another standout feature. There was an impressive variety every day, and the quality and taste genuinely surpassed expectations. Every meal felt fresh, well-prepared, and catered for all tastes.
What truly made the stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Every member of the team was warm, friendly, and attentive, always willing to help with a smile. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and their hospitality made the hotel feel welcoming and relaxed throughout our stay.
One of the most memorable experiences was the quick speedboat taxi to the private island — a unique touch that made the holiday feel even more special. The hotel also offered plenty of complimentary activities including tennis courts, pickleball, snooker, and more, which added great value and meant there was always something to do.
Although the rooms were slightly dated, they suited the hotel perfectly and added to the authentic Langkawi charm — relaxed, comfortable, and full of character. Rather than feeling tired, the hotel had a genuine laid-back vibe that made it easy to unwind and enjoy the surroundings.
Overall, this is an excellent hotel and a real hidden gem. With incredible views, fantastic facilities, wonderful food, and exceptional staff, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Langkawi.

UUmm NurWe arrived at 12.30pm but our room wasn’t ready yet. When I went to the front desk to ask if there was an activity room for my children, the manager on duty at that time, Shukri, personally showed us the 2 activity rooms for different age groups on the second floor. I thought that was excellent service. Thank you, Shukri!
When I went to the front desk later to ask about our room, I was surprised as we had gotten an unexpected upgrade to the 2-bedroom suite with ocean view because the room type I had booked wasn’t available.
The suite was much bigger than what we had paid for and very spacious for the 4 of us. It was on a high floor with a balcony at the main bedroom with ocean and sunset view. There is also a balcony for the other bedroom which had the mountain view. The suite is at the end of the floor and it also has another balcony along the entire length of the suite from front to back. The balconies give you unblocked views of the whole surrounding which was awesome!
On our last night there which was a Friday night, the hotel had a bbq by the beach for paid diners and it also came with a fire show. I think the bbq is every Friday and Saturday so you could watch the fire show without having to go to Hidden Cafe or Chenang Beach.
We really enjoyed the big space in the suite and the magnificent views from up there. If you are travelling with children, do consider the 2-bedroom suite. You would appreciate having another bathroom and less waiting time when everyone needs to get ready before going out. We also thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast. There was a wide variety and some food options change daily.
We would love to be back there again one day. We had a great time as a family. Trust me, this is not a paid promo!

LLiwaThe room was decent, quite spacious. The birds in the courtyard started chirping early in the morning, which was a bit noisy, but other than that, it was pretty quiet. Yellow Club is diagonally opposite, about a 10-minute walk away. It's an ideal spot for watching the sunset. The breakfast area is a bit small, so if you go at the wrong time, you might encounter a crowd and have to wait in line. Breakfast is a set menu, with about five or six options to choose from.

FFifi MatsThe hotel is located a short drive from the airport; but also tucked away from the noise of the city. Taxi fare to tourist hotspots is generally low (MYR11-23) due to its convenient location. Perfect for travellers who want a scenic and tranquil break from their busy lives, but also want easy access to shops and nightlife (food stalls, etc.). Super neat rooms and excellent staff all around. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect score is because the fitness room needs some work, and it takes about half an hour for the a/c in there to cool the space down. Not great if you want a quick workout before heading out for the day. Overall, highly recommend! I would come back here again without a second thought. Worth every penny!

2205263****This hotel is right next to Langkawi Airport, just a 3-minute walk away. The airport is a bit old, but every room in the hotel is spacious, and the lobby is quite impressive. For a 4-star standard, the gym equipment is a bit limited. However, in a tropical country, perhaps this is all one can expect. The hotel's service, though, is excellent. Due to a last-minute change in my travel plans, I contacted them via email, and the front desk kindly agreed to adjust my check-in time, which I really appreciated. Thumbs up to the hotel front desk service! Each room has double-glazed windows with a gap of about 20cm between the panes, so you can't hear the planes taking off or landing next door. It's very quiet for sleeping. A quick tip: if you're heading to Telaga Harbour, the hotel is conveniently located between Pantai Cenang and the harbour. Taxis are also readily available.

My stay at A Coral Reefs Resort from 21–23 March started off acceptable, but what happened after check-out was deeply disappointing and raises serious concerns about the hotel’s professionalism and integrity.
After I had already left the property and arrived at the airport, I received a call accusing me of being involved in a missing RM1200 reported by three foreign guests. This accusation was based solely on a vague CCTV clip showing me sitting in the lobby and putting something into my pocket.
Let me be absolutely clear: such an allegation, made without concrete evidence, is irresponsible and unacceptable.
The hotel’s account of the incident was inconsistent and unreliable. I was first told the money was left on a table, and later it was claimed to be inside a pair of pants. The inability to establish even the most basic facts seriously calls into question the credibility of the entire claim.
Even more concerning is the timeline. If the alleged incident took place on 21 March, why was I only contacted on 23 March, after I had already checked out and reached the airport? This delay reflects either poor internal handling or a lack of proper investigation.
The CCTV clip provided was incomplete and unclear. It merely shows me placing my own personal belongings (my phone and medicated oil) into my pocket. There is absolutely no evidence that I handled or took any cash.
Relying on such selective and inconclusive footage to imply wrongdoing is not only unprofessional, but also unfairly damaging to a guest’s reputation.
We have formally requested the full CCTV footage to ensure transparency and proper verification of facts. Failure to provide complete and unedited recordings will only further undermine the credibility of this accusation.
If this matter is not handled appropriately, we will not hesitate to escalate it through formal complaint channels.
Guests should be aware that without clear evidence, this establishment is willing to cast suspicion based on assumptions rather than facts.

GGuest UserIf you're traveling with kids, book a room by the pool. Just slide the glass door and you're right in the water. The breakfast is really good, with a lot of protein. Refill service is super fast. Even during busy season, the buffet stays well-stocked through breakfast. The beach has plenty of sun beds, and the spot itself is fantastic. That said, in my experience, the jet skis and other activities make the beach and nearby area feel more commercial than private. It’s not your typical huge resort with buggies and all-inclusive, but it’s perfect for a quick two-night stay, good breakfast, clean beach, and sunbathing.. Cenang Mall is about a 15-minute walk, and there are lots of small restaurants nearby. Keep in mind, when we stayed there, there was construction next door, so the views and noises weren’t ideal for a holiday.
