Amazing
AAnonymous UserWe booked rooms on the first and second floors using two different platforms. I have to call out Dolphin here – you're seriously expensive! No wonder you rake in 200 million a day... Anyway, personally, I prefer the first-floor room. It has a great open view and an outdoor hot tub which feels very exotic for showering. Plus, it's even cheaper than the one upstairs.

Amazing
GGuest UserBest beach view but like the rest of Langkawi it’s just missing a few things. The family pool is sensational…but it’s pebblecrete, so it’ll tear up feet if you’re in there doing anything active. The pool bar opens at midday, so it’s definitely not set for early swimmers who might want a juice and snack. No lifeguard and almost no kids pool area. The pool was 1.1 to 1.5m deep so not toddler friendly.
The rooms were great but limited lift access so a nice 3rd floor view has three flights of stairs.
They have a reading room, which is a nice, air-conditioned lounge, but it only opens at 11am.
The main restaurant has… average food. It’s not what you’d hope. They have the Chefs Table Restaurant wich was more expensive but actually had good food. It was hot in there though. We went in end of March and it was 32/32 degrees every day.
Overall it’s a nice place and close to the mangrove tours but it just falls short of being really good. But that’s pretty much all of Langkawi.
Staff were really nice.

Great
VVashti RoshneeWonderful service from all the staffs, the bar team at the pool, the FNB team from all restaurants, the team on the beach, from check in to our final night dinner at Pahn-Thai Restaurants to check out. Everything was amazing and everyone was so genuine and warm. Thank you for celebrating our anniversary. We will be back soon!
GGuest UserThe rooms are located on a private, secluded island, just a ten-minute boat ride from Langkawi's Cenang Jetty. There's an hourly boat service for transfers, and a dedicated meeting point at Cenang Jetty, which is very thoughtful. We booked a king-sized bed and paid an extra 110 per day, including breakfast, for a child's additional bed. We explored the island on our own and noticed some abandoned facilities that looked like they used to be part of another hotel. Contrary to some reviews, the hotel didn't offer a daily 8:30 AM guided trek for guests; you either walk by yourself or hire a guide for 120 MYR. If you walk alone, you're warned about an 800 MYR rescue fee if anything goes wrong. The name 'Trip.com' (携程) sounds enticing, but honestly, Langkawi's ecosystem is generally very good; I think Trip.com's descriptions might be a bit exaggerated. We followed old signposts to Red Rock Beach, where there's a cave, saw many pitcher plants and hornbills, and even met a French couple heading back. We had to turn back quickly ourselves, worried about the rising tide, as it was getting late. This beach, unfortunately, was quite littered, and even the private island didn't seem well-maintained.
The hotel grounds are like a garden with many monkeys; apparently, you can feed them peanuts at specific times. Staff often chase them away. The hotel's coastline isn't very long, and the water is crystal clear in the morning. There are corals but hardly any fish, though we saw many sea cucumbers and hermit crabs. Food on the island is definitely pricier than in Langkawi and not particularly tasty, just passable. There's a convenience store on the jetty where we even had an instant pizza. Hiking on the island was quite interesting; it took us over two hours round trip.
JJamal HajjajIn general a nice resort for a family stay. But I would say not worth the price. Firstly the beach are horrible in that area. Breakfast is so so, only good egg station, but the rest not that good. If you are a family then make sure you don’t stay near the lobby as the live music is loud until 23:00. But the staff are top
SSharifah ZThe hotel and the surrounding is ok. Close and have access to beach. Unfortunately, room is quite small, and the tv has very poor signal. When i complained, the counter said, the issue was not faced by me, it was a common issue with all rooms, and the hotel is in the process to rectify it. I am.sure the issue is not new. How could they just close one eye. The breakfast is just ok, nothing extra. I had asked for late checkout (by 1 pm) and the hotel.said ok the night before. But around 11.45 am and 1230 pm, i received 2 separate calls asking me to check out. When i told them i was granted checkout until 1pm..they said thwy were not aware. Therw was no note. So the hotel has a lot to imrove.
The tv is not a smart tv also. So nothing u cam do. With no.channel, the only option was to turn it ofc

FFifi MatsThe hotel is located a short drive from the airport; but also tucked away from the noise of the city. Taxi fare to tourist hotspots is generally low (MYR11-23) due to its convenient location. Perfect for travellers who want a scenic and tranquil break from their busy lives, but also want easy access to shops and nightlife (food stalls, etc.). Super neat rooms and excellent staff all around. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect score is because the fitness room needs some work, and it takes about half an hour for the a/c in there to cool the space down. Not great if you want a quick workout before heading out for the day. Overall, highly recommend! I would come back here again without a second thought. Worth every penny!
GGuest UserThe stay at Bayview Hotel was pleasant and the service was good. Hotel is located close to pier and jetties, banks, and shopping malls. Complimentary breakfast would have been better with some more varieties. Salt was less in Indian dishes served. Hotel's lobby and tour desk personnel were courteous. Overall stay was good and I highly recommend it for Indian travelers.

LLanxiao。The location is okay, about a 15-minute walk from Eagle Square and Billion Duty Free Supermarket (Langkawi). The hygiene was average, and the in-room facilities felt a bit outdated. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive and didn't really suit my taste, but my mom quite liked it. The front desk service was good, and the room was cleaned daily with toiletries replenished.

NNiliudashuThis hotel was just a place to crash; we were out all day anyway, so we didn't expect much. The location is excellent, right in town. Across the street, there's a duty-free chocolate shop, and plenty of food options within a few blocks. It's also beachfront, so you can catch the sunrise. We booked a suite, which was spacious, but the facilities were quite outdated. The hot water was intermittent, and it seemed like there was no hot water at all late at night! I left my swim trunks in the room and called customer service to ask about them. I figured if they found them, I'd just take a taxi back from Berjaya to pick them up. The first time I called, a man answered and said he'd look for them. When I called again, a woman answered. I'm not sure if she didn't understand English or what, but she just mumbled and rambled for a while before abruptly hanging up on me. Since I was short on time, I just gave up and bought new ones.
The breakfast was mediocre, with limited choices. Just enough to grab a bite.
The gym is tiny and the equipment is old, but nobody supervises it, and hardly anyone uses it. You just swipe your card to enter, so it's practically 24 hours. It was sufficient for my workout needs.
The infinity pool has a nice view, and my kids loved it. There were a lot of Indian people diving and having 'doggy paddle' races, making the pool quite chaotic, and nobody seemed to be managing it. The Indian 'doggy paddle' is hilarious; it's not the first time I've seen it, I've seen it countless times now! I even wonder if it's some kind of Indian national art form? The key thing is, this stroke is exhausting and inefficient, yet they all seem to enjoy it immensely 😂
