Our family of four spent a perfect 5-day New Year holiday at Villa Moo Moo.
1. We contacted the host, Azuan, in advance to let him know our check-in time. We just needed to find the location using Google Maps.
2. The location is in a village, about 200 meters from a side road. It's not particularly remote. We rented a car, so getting around was very convenient.
3. The villa has a pool table, karaoke, projector, swimming pool, washing machine, dryer, board games, volleyball, rice cooker, frying pan, cutlery, spoons, condiments, etc., more than enough for cooking (we used the rice cooker for hot pot on New Year's Eve).
4. The swimming pool water is constantly circulated, ensuring hygiene. There are plenty of towels; if you need to change them, just tell Azuan, and he'll get you new ones.
5. Regarding safety, since the host owns 10,000 square meters of land, there's no fence around the pool, so there are no safety issues. The host lives next door.
6. Every morning we woke up to fields and cows, and sunrises and sunsets. This is much better than many beachfront hotels! Thank you again to host Azuan for his attentive care.

The hotel staff were very friendly; whenever there was a name change, they immediately contacted me to confirm the details were correct. I was very satisfied with my stay. They also offer a free airport shuttle service. Upon check-in, they mentioned they highly value privacy, so you need to contact them in advance if you want your room cleaned. There's no in-room phone; all communication is done via WhatsApp. The front desk would message to ask what time was convenient for housekeeping. Breakfast reservations can also be made through WhatsApp. The bed was very comfortable, and I was most satisfied with the unlimited complimentary bottled water. Soft drinks were also provided free of charge.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, not a single water stain. Plus, the mini cookies were unlimited! Breakfast had a great variety, though it could get a bit repetitive after a few days. The Italian restaurant, however, was fantastic both in taste and service. The hotel grounds were lush and green, but the beach water quality wasn't great for swimming; the pool was a much better option.
Downsides: 1. Unfortunately, there were still mosquitoes; I got bitten two out of four nights. 2. Staying at the hotel just to eat and sleep got a bit boring, and it's quite a distance from the lively Pantai Cenang beach.

Chenta_The accommodation was very comfortable with beautiful and calming views. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The overall ambiance of the hotel also felt premium and satisfying.
However, there are a few areas that could be improved. For breakfast, the food options were quite limited, and the same menu was repeated daily. The taste of the food also didn't quite suit our palate, such as the nasi lemak with overly sweet sambal and soup that lacked flavor and ingredients. We hope the hotel can improve the variety and quality of the food, especially for a high-standard hotel like Four Seasons.
Additionally, the bath towels were rather coarse and uncomfortable to use. For a five-star hotel, prioritizing softer and higher-quality towels should be a given, as it significantly impacts guest comfort.
Overall, the stay was still good, but some aspects need improvement to truly meet luxury hotel standards.

RenetkWe had a wonderful stay at The Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa.
The hotel itself is beautiful and offers an impressive range of amenities. While the location is a little removed from the busier parts of Langkawi and there is not a great deal within walking distance, the resort more than makes up for it with everything available on site. Between the pools, beach, restaurants, gym, kids facilities, and activities, there is always something to do.
A special thank you goes to the lovely auntie at the Kids Club. Our daughter absolutely loved spending time there and looked forward to visiting every day. Her warmth, care, and genuine affection for the children made a real difference to our holiday.
Another standout was Tommy at breakfast. Every morning he greeted us with a smile and made us feel genuinely welcome. It is team members like Tommy who turn a good hotel stay into a memorable one.

Its a nice resort tucked away in between Cenang and Kuah town… the entire resort is furnished with Ikea furniture and fittings so if you are a fan of Ikea you would feel right at home. There are generally 2 type of accommodation, 1 villa style with 2 bedroom, ensuite bathroom, living room, kitchen, garden access to the pool and a private doorstep car park, this unit can sleep up to 8 people according to the hotel. Another type of room is a standard hotel room style with direct pool access.

I booked this hotel for an early flight the next day. I stayed in a family suite on the 5th floor. I don't know about other floors, but as soon as you step out of the elevator on the 5th floor, there's a very strong, unpleasant smell, like something rotting at a street stall. The room was very spacious, which was a plus, but the towels and showerhead were really subpar. Breakfast was also just mediocre, and it's quite far from other attractions. If it weren't for catching a flight, I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here. The value for money is very low.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. They were always available and willing to help with anything—whether it was answering our questions, arranging something special, or simply making sure we were comfortable. Their quick and friendly assistance truly made us feel at home.
The hotel itself is clean, cozy, and well-maintained, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spacious, beautifully arranged, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s a great choice for couples, families, or solo travelers who value comfort and a welcoming environment.
The only minor point to note is that there isn’t a market nearby, but this was never an issue for us because the hotel provides everything necessary, and the staff are always happy to help with anything extra.
We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and felt completely relaxed. The combination of excellent service, friendly people, and a calm environment makes this hotel a perfect option for those looking for a pleasant and stress-free vacation. Great value for money! We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area—you will not regret it!

My stay at A Coral Reefs Resort from 21–23 March started off acceptable, but what happened after check-out was deeply disappointing and raises serious concerns about the hotel’s professionalism and integrity.
After I had already left the property and arrived at the airport, I received a call accusing me of being involved in a missing RM1200 reported by three foreign guests. This accusation was based solely on a vague CCTV clip showing me sitting in the lobby and putting something into my pocket.
Let me be absolutely clear: such an allegation, made without concrete evidence, is irresponsible and unacceptable.
The hotel’s account of the incident was inconsistent and unreliable. I was first told the money was left on a table, and later it was claimed to be inside a pair of pants. The inability to establish even the most basic facts seriously calls into question the credibility of the entire claim.
Even more concerning is the timeline. If the alleged incident took place on 21 March, why was I only contacted on 23 March, after I had already checked out and reached the airport? This delay reflects either poor internal handling or a lack of proper investigation.
The CCTV clip provided was incomplete and unclear. It merely shows me placing my own personal belongings (my phone and medicated oil) into my pocket. There is absolutely no evidence that I handled or took any cash.
Relying on such selective and inconclusive footage to imply wrongdoing is not only unprofessional, but also unfairly damaging to a guest’s reputation.
We have formally requested the full CCTV footage to ensure transparency and proper verification of facts. Failure to provide complete and unedited recordings will only further undermine the credibility of this accusation.
If this matter is not handled appropriately, we will not hesitate to escalate it through formal complaint channels.
Guests should be aware that without clear evidence, this establishment is willing to cast suspicion based on assumptions rather than facts.
