Our family of four spent a perfect 5-day New Year holiday at Villa Moo Moo.
1. We contacted the host, Azuan, in advance to let him know our check-in time. We just needed to find the location using Google Maps.
2. The location is in a village, about 200 meters from a side road. It's not particularly remote. We rented a car, so getting around was very convenient.
3. The villa has a pool table, karaoke, projector, swimming pool, washing machine, dryer, board games, volleyball, rice cooker, frying pan, cutlery, spoons, condiments, etc., more than enough for cooking (we used the rice cooker for hot pot on New Year's Eve).
4. The swimming pool water is constantly circulated, ensuring hygiene. There are plenty of towels; if you need to change them, just tell Azuan, and he'll get you new ones.
5. Regarding safety, since the host owns 10,000 square meters of land, there's no fence around the pool, so there are no safety issues. The host lives next door.
6. Every morning we woke up to fields and cows, and sunrises and sunsets. This is much better than many beachfront hotels! Thank you again to host Azuan for his attentive care.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, not a single water stain. Plus, the mini cookies were unlimited! Breakfast had a great variety, though it could get a bit repetitive after a few days. The Italian restaurant, however, was fantastic both in taste and service. The hotel grounds were lush and green, but the beach water quality wasn't great for swimming; the pool was a much better option.
Downsides: 1. Unfortunately, there were still mosquitoes; I got bitten two out of four nights. 2. Staying at the hotel just to eat and sleep got a bit boring, and it's quite a distance from the lively Pantai Cenang beach.

My experience at Bukit Resort Langkawi was truly amazing.
I've visited many hotels and resorts in many countries, but this was a first for me!! 🥹🥰
All the staff, including Manager Wan, were so attentive and caring. It was as if Wan was always thinking about how to make the guests' stays a great experience.
She provided detailed information on things to do in Langkawi, restaurants, and all the necessary information via WhatsApp, which was incredibly helpful during my trip. The accommodation was clean and spacious, making it comfortable to stay.
The elevated location offered a beautiful view, and the pool was great for both adults and children.
The breakfast was also good, and since it's a small resort, it wasn't crowded, so we were able to enjoy ourselves leisurely.
The only real downside was the location, but we had no major inconveniences using Grab. The staff were so welcoming throughout our stay that we were almost sad to check out. 🥹🤗
We will definitely be back. Until then, Bukit Resort and all the staff, stay healthy! 💪👍🫶🩷

Guest UserA great stay! This hotel is beautiful, the rooms are large and very local. The paintings on the wall and the decorations are carefully selected. The breakfast is also great, with a wide variety and good taste. They also prepared local specialty pastries and their homemade jams. We also ordered cheese omelet, which is very smooth and fragrant when eaten alone, and it is another enjoyment to eat it in toast. It's really great!
The only drawback may be the location, which is a little hidden. You have to go in from a small road, don't be scared. But you can still get a grab, but it takes a little more time. It takes about ten minutes to take a taxi from Chenang Beach and not far from the airport.
Facilities: The equipment is very complete, and the most surprising thing is that the toilet is actually smart.
Hygiene: Very good. Someone cleans it every day.
Environment: The environment is very beautiful, as if you are in the isolated nature. The infinity pool is great, and you can see squirrels and monkeys!
Service: Very good! Every staff member is very friendly. If you encounter some problems during your stay, they will be solved immediately, and the efficiency is very high.

I blindly chose this hotel and stayed for 5 consecutive days, ready to just relax. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. The hotel is located by the sea and near the mountains, about a 30-minute drive from Cenang Beach, making it relatively quiet. If you need to go out, taking a taxi is very convenient. The hotel has several swimming pools, which are great for kids. My child didn't want to leave the pool once they got in, and you can order drinks right by the poolside, which is very handy. The breakfast variety changes a bit, and the eggs + pancakes pictured were delicious – the sauce was definitely the highlight. The staff were all quite friendly and greeted me warmly whenever we met.

This is a really, really great hotel. I was planning to stay in Langkawi for a month and had driven around checking out hotels one by one before settling on this one. The staff at the front desk, both the ladies and gentlemen, were incredibly helpful. Even the cleaning staff would enthusiastically gesture to recommend fun places to visit. The room was very clean, and the swimming pool was perfectly usable for swimming. I say this because I encountered some abnormal pools at other hotels, where you could literally dive and hit the opposite wall! This is my honest review.

My stay at A Coral Reefs Resort from 21–23 March started off acceptable, but what happened after check-out was deeply disappointing and raises serious concerns about the hotel’s professionalism and integrity.
After I had already left the property and arrived at the airport, I received a call accusing me of being involved in a missing RM1200 reported by three foreign guests. This accusation was based solely on a vague CCTV clip showing me sitting in the lobby and putting something into my pocket.
Let me be absolutely clear: such an allegation, made without concrete evidence, is irresponsible and unacceptable.
The hotel’s account of the incident was inconsistent and unreliable. I was first told the money was left on a table, and later it was claimed to be inside a pair of pants. The inability to establish even the most basic facts seriously calls into question the credibility of the entire claim.
Even more concerning is the timeline. If the alleged incident took place on 21 March, why was I only contacted on 23 March, after I had already checked out and reached the airport? This delay reflects either poor internal handling or a lack of proper investigation.
The CCTV clip provided was incomplete and unclear. It merely shows me placing my own personal belongings (my phone and medicated oil) into my pocket. There is absolutely no evidence that I handled or took any cash.
Relying on such selective and inconclusive footage to imply wrongdoing is not only unprofessional, but also unfairly damaging to a guest’s reputation.
We have formally requested the full CCTV footage to ensure transparency and proper verification of facts. Failure to provide complete and unedited recordings will only further undermine the credibility of this accusation.
If this matter is not handled appropriately, we will not hesitate to escalate it through formal complaint channels.
Guests should be aware that without clear evidence, this establishment is willing to cast suspicion based on assumptions rather than facts.

I booked it for my parents, and they said the hotel authority did not give the WiFi access in the room. Apart from that they found the location to be very good and all other facilities in the room were excellent.
