"The Nova Hotel is located in an affluent area of Lahore's new district (please don't compare it to China; affluent areas here are privately owned properties, and owners often use unused land or rooms to generate income, so it might seem like a hodgepodge, but it's not). The Lahore International Convention and Exhibition Center is diagonally across the street, just 100 meters away, or a little over 200 meters walking around the green belt. However, the Pakistani government maintains strict controls, requiring security and a car escort for entry and exit, which can be a bit uncomfortable for Chinese people.
The hotel owner, Mr. Nova, grew up in Dubai and is a Brahmin. He is a well-mannered gentleman with a global perspective. The hotel driver, a classmate of his from Dubai, is two levels below him. He is familiar with Lahore's sights and makes a great guide.
The owner personally escorts the car whenever he picks up guests from the airport. When we left, we left something at the hotel, and he immediately had one of his men deliver it free of charge on a motorcycle. He confirmed we had checked in and boarded our flight before leaving. His patience and attentiveness were truly touching!
The hotel service was excellent, with a good breakfast and à la carte options for lunch and dinner, which catered to Chinese tastes and were very affordable. The staff were also very friendly and meticulous in their room cleaning and housekeeping, which was truly impressive.
Two hundred meters from the hotel is Lahore's largest shopping mall, similar to Wangfujing Department Store. It takes up an entire city block and is considered top-notch even in China. The hotel is adjacent to a school and a small park on the left, and the light rail station is three bus stops away on the right, making it very convenient for travel by bus or taxi.
In short, this is a great choice for traveling or attending exhibitions in Lahore!"
