"Stopped for one night on the way to Yosemite to San Francisco on the west coast of the United States. A very good choice to visit San Francisco directly the next day. The conditions and environment are very good, very clean, the room is very large and the cost performance is very high. It is much better than the hotel in San Francisco. The surrounding area of the hotel is very safe and there are no homeless people. The American breakfast is also very good. It is a good accommodation experience and I will come again next time."

"Had a really solid stay at this Marriott downtown. Three things stood out:
The view from our room was awesome - great skyline views that made the stay feel special. Worth asking for a higher floor.
The room was nice - clean, modern, and spacious. Everything was in good shape and felt updated. Good digs overall.
Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of variety, everything fresh, and they kept it well stocked. Actually worth getting up for.
Staff was helpful and the downtown location worked great for getting around. Would definitely stay here again."

"It's a rare opportunity for me to write a review about a hotel. We booked this hotel on short notice because we missed our Airbnb reservation by one day. It was beyond our expectations. The only downside is that it's close to the elevated road so there might be some noise, but I personally think that I was lucky to live on the 4th floor and not be disturbed.
It feels more cost-effective than Airbnb... If Airbnb was not due to check-in and could not refund the full amount, we would have planned to stay longer...
The mattress is very comfortable, the room is very clean, there is a microwave and a small refrigerator, there are also some snacks and cold drinks for sale on the first floor, which can be directly deducted from the deposit, the price is similar to that of small supermarkets outside, not expensive. The shampoo and shower gel in it are all Dove.
But the hotel did not provide bottled water, slippers or toothbrush and toothpaste. (It seems that American hotels don’t have this thing?)
The location is also very good, there are many Chinese restaurants nearby within a few minutes drive!
Parking is also free, and there are charging stations nearby.
We didn't have time to use the swimming pool and gym.
Although the hotel's breakfast is a Western-style buffet, I think it's okay. The pastries they bake are not as sweet as the desserts usually sold in the United States. They are of normal sweetness and very delicious. There is also zero-calorie sugar to add to the coffee, and there are fruits to eat. There are toast, meat patties, fried eggs, sausages, juices, and yogurt."

BbyudgThe room is large, the bed is quite comfortable to sleep on, the lights are adequate and there are many switches, and charging is very convenient. There is also a warm spray bottle to help you fall asleep and spray it on the pillow to help you sleep well.
There is a warm fireplace at the front desk of the hotel and a heated swimming pool in the gym. I went swimming for half an hour in the morning. The water was slightly cold, but it was very enjoyable.
Breakfast is not included in the room rate, so there is no experience.
There is a burger shop next to it. There are some places to eat within 4-5 minutes of driving, which is very convenient. The Tesla factory is nearby, but I regret not making a reservation to visit.
Hotel parking is $10 a night. There are charging piles in the parking lot, but they are always occupied, so we drove to the fast charging station in Walmart to charge.
The hotel charged me a few dollars for the Internet access. I wonder if one of us pressed an upgrade button by mistake. I checked with the front desk and he helped me apply for cancellation with the finance department, but the service fee of more than 1 yuan cannot be canceled. The handling was fairly efficient and friendly, and I was very satisfied!
The hotel deposit is US$75 in advance.

The hotel generally could need some facelift. Furthermore, the breakfast room was chilly every day so that I started wearing as many layers as possible. Coffee was disappointing, but breakfast omeletts were great. So was the tuna tartar by night.

SShikano3If you have something to do at UC Berkeley, this hotel is the best place to stay with following reasons.
(1) Best Location - The nearest to the UC Berkeley, (2) Staff there is super nice and friendly. It made my stay so comfortable.
In a meanwhile, you need to bear in mind that (1) Facility is old, (2) you need to bear additional cost, such as Overnight Self Parking 37.00, and (2) Property Amenity Fee 25.00, (3) Property Amenity Fee City Occupancy Tax 3.00, that are not cheap.
Overall, I'm satisfied with my choice!
