"The hotel situated right in the heart of the city in all walking distance. I love that the price is fairly affordable in such location. The hotel is clean and decent design. Although it doesn't have a phone inside for any room service but I'm happy with the price and cleanliness overall. I'll definitely be coming back next time!"

"Not bad hotel. But there were no tea bags, no milk. Cutlery looks extremely poor. All was from different set, some from hiking set. Also a lot of dust on the bathroom lights. To fix these problems will cost almost nothing, but it will improve the impression. And the final problem is parking. If you return late, there will be no parking place for you."

"If you're not driving, choose very carefully! The hotel's location on a hillside made dragging our luggage an absolute nightmare – just like it was for us! The only things we were happy with were the nice views, the lovely yard, and the acceptable facilities. However, it's still far from hotel standards, as it's essentially a private guesthouse. We couldn't find anyone to check out in the morning. Now, for the important part!!! The guesthouse owner has strict limits on the number of guests, but the hotel's website doesn't clearly state the extra charges for additional people. We felt the price they quoted us for a last-minute additional guest was unreasonable, which made us unwilling to stay. Yet, not a single penny of the room fee was refunded – basically, you *have* to accept their terms. We originally booked a room for two people. A day before, we paid an extra AUD 130 to upgrade to a suite for three, but it was actually for two adults and two children. In the end, we were refused the suite because it could only accommodate three people. We then paid an additional AUD 400 just to switch to a different room type, which meant not staying in the main building. This negotiation took up an entire afternoon and completely disrupted our travel plans. So, I highly recommend hotels in downtown Hobart; we stayed for 5 days and they were genuinely good. There's no need to bother with these self-proclaimed private hotels or guesthouses."

"The stay here was in perfect location to the wharf and the Salamanca Market. I did have some privacy concerns with the studio apartment such as being able to see into the bedroom from the shared balcony as well as the frosted bathroom window."

"The most perfect hotel for this trip, from the window of the room is the yacht marina, the dark blue sea water is printed with white canvas, time is still!"

"All amenities very good, very clean and presentable. Unit identification needed to be made more clear ( i.e. arrows and unit numbers painted on driveway). Needed a bigger number shown on each unit as you did not know which was your unit until your at the front door or in the right parking spot. A bit difficult to turn around."

"We booked and we were surprised as no photos clearly showed the motel's exterior, the main photo is of Port Arthur historical site. We arrived late so had keys left for us. Some upgrades would be good however the response from the staff was timely, friendly and precise. We had three rooms, everyone was happy, it was for a place to lay our heads for our last night before flying home."

"Traveling with family, we chose this apartment hotel because we planned to be out all day and didn't want to deal with laundry. The washing machine is a top-loader and a bit old, but perfectly functional. The dryer is excellent; it can dry all the clothes and pants for our family of three in one go. The hotel's restaurant, Stockmans, offers much better value for its steaks than those trendy, Instagrammable spots. The date pudding for dessert is definitely worth trying."

"The hotel is retro and old. If you like the old house, it is recommended to have no brains. We have been off work at the front desk when we check in. The reception door phone will get the password of the password box. Open the password box and take your room key to check in. The parking space and the room number correspond to the corresponding parking space. Some parking spaces have high parking technical requirements. The hotel rooms are large, well-equipped, clean and tidy, with beautiful scenery and good weather overlooking the Wellington Peak and Hobart."
