Four Points Hotels in Kunming

This hotel is located right in the city center, with a lively pedestrian street and plenty of great food options downstairs. The halal beef pancakes right outside are delicious and always have a long queue! If you turn right out of the hotel and pass Nanning Street, you'll reach Shuncheng Shopping Mall, which boasts numerous restaurants. The Wuyi Road metro station is also right next to it. You can easily walk to Cuihu Park and several other pedestrian streets from the hotel, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes, including local Yunnan specialties like Er'si and rice noodles. The hotel maintains the high standards of Sheraton (Marriott), and the room facilities are excellent. The lovely front desk staff even upgraded my room and gave me a fruit platter. My room on the 28th floor offered expansive city views. For transportation to Kunming Station, if you're in a hurry, I'd recommend a taxi as there might not be a direct metro line due to the complex underground structure of the old city. One suggestion I have is to place ashtrays (or poles) outside the entrance. This would prevent guests who step out to smoke from a non-smoking hotel from littering cigarette butts.

The lobby has a free printer and charging stations, which is super convenient for business emergencies. The complimentary freshly ground coffee is just as good as what you'd find outside. There are plenty of common areas, perfect for impromptu meetings or getting work done, and the overall atmosphere is quiet, not chaotic. This is much better than many hotels in the same price range; my productivity definitely improved. The front desk service is also excellent.

My suitcase wheels got stuck and wouldn't budge. Eric Chen Linhao at the front desk knelt down to inspect them, told me not to worry, then brought some lubricant, applied a few drops, and wiped off the excess with a tissue. The wheels were as smooth as new, and I didn't even have to lift a finger. Four Points by Sheraton Chenggong truly treats its guests like family.

The restaurant offered good food with a wide variety. The shuttle bus was punctual and convenient. Overall, it was quite good, and there are convenient amenities nearby.

My stay at Four Points by Sheraton Kunming Chenggong was absolutely fantastic! The room layout and design were perfectly to my taste – spacious, comfortable, and with great attention to detail. It was incredibly relaxing to stay there, and the value for money was outstanding; it definitely stands out among hotels in the same price range. By accident, I took the hotel's hairdryer when checking out. As soon as I realized, I immediately sent it back. I thought it was a small matter, but to my surprise, the hotel not only didn't make an issue of it but was incredibly thoughtful. They even prepared a special gift for me: Yunnan specialty tea and a cute plush toy. This level of understanding and care truly touched my heart. From the room experience to the excellent price and this unexpected, kind gesture, everything made me feel so positive about this hotel. The service details are impeccable. This is truly a hidden gem, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Kunming!
