"The location is fantastic for exploring! It's right at the entrance to the riverside park. Step out, and you have the riverbank street going one way, and East Street leading to Dongzhongshun Food Street the other. If you're driving, parking is available, but be aware that this area can get quite congested. You'll need to drive into a narrow alley to reach the parking lot. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the facilities felt new. Our triple room had a window facing a wall, so no views, but it was nice and quiet. Interestingly, the hallway window on our floor offered a direct view of the river. One minor suggestion: it seemed like there wasn't a charging outlet near the smaller bed, only by the main bed and in the bathroom."

"Facilities: The hotel facilities are very new and well-designed. The lobby is spacious and even has a calligraphy corner with flowing water. There are small fish and parrots at the front desk, which the kids loved. The room was also very large, and I must say the pillows were incredibly comfortable, leading to a great night's sleep. Service: The hotel's service was also excellent. After adding them on WeChat, they even recommended local eateries, and we ended up trying Yepopo Bobo Chicken nearby. The hotel breakfast was also quite unique; it was a set meal with dishes like crispy shaomian noodles, steamed buns, zongzi, and chia seed pudding – very filling! The hotel is conveniently located close to the high-speed rail station, making it easy to catch a train, and it's also not far from the Leshan Giant Buddha."

"The location is superb, and the service is excellent. The hotel is situated right by the Dadu River, and rooms facing the river offer views of the Giant Buddha right from your window. There are plenty of good restaurants and snack bars nearby. You can walk to Shangzhongshun, where you can enjoy Leshan's local cuisine at various unique shops and eateries. You can also follow the riverside path all the way to the closest bank to the Giant Buddha, where you can admire it and the confluence of the two rivers. The hotel upgraded my room for free, and the furnishings were beyond my expectations. The front desk and lobby staff were very helpful, providing detailed suggestions for my travel itinerary. All in all, it was a fantastic travel experience, and I will definitely stay here again next time and recommend it to my friends."

"My stay at the Howard Johnson Life Leshan Hotel (High-Speed Railway Station Shihao Plaza Branch) was a very pleasant experience overall. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the high-speed railway station, saving time and effort for travel. Shihao Plaza is just a short walk away, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The room was simply and cleanly decorated, meticulously maintained, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The front desk staff were friendly and polite, responding promptly to any issues, showing attention to detail. I was especially touched by the thoughtfulness of the receptionist, Ms. 004. A big thumbs up! Traveling with my child was also very convenient. Overall, it's great value for money and a wonderful choice for a stay during a trip to Leshan. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time."

"It's at least a kilometer walk to a breakfast place. The service wasn't great; there wasn't much toilet paper in the bathroom. Because we had a child with us, we asked the front desk for two rolls, and they were reluctant. They even had to come to the room to check before reluctantly giving us one roll. The bathroom window didn't have curtains, so you could see into the yard during the day while showering. However, the children really liked the facilities in the family room, though safety was questionable."

"Emeishan Grand Hotel: A Real Stay Review | Excellent Service, Great Value, but Hardware Needs an Upgrade We chose the Emeishan Grand Hotel for our family trip to Mount Emei. Overall, it offered good value for money, with both clear strengths and weaknesses. Here's an objective review for your reference! First and foremost, I must highly commend the butler service – truly exceptional and thoughtful! Even before we arrived, our dedicated butler proactively contacted us via WeChat, sending us a comprehensive travel guide for Mount Emei. They also arranged pick-up from the high-speed rail station. Upon arrival, our luggage was directly delivered to our room, making the entire process effortless and incredibly convenient. The service experience far exceeded our expectations – truly attentive and heartwarming. The location is superb! The hotel is diagonally opposite the Emeishan Scenic Area Passenger Transport Center, so you can catch a bus up the mountain right outside. There are also plenty of local specialty restaurants and snacks nearby, making both transportation and dining incredibly convenient. The hotel is a well-established four-star property and even offers intangible cultural heritage craft experiences, which are perfect for families with children. Our child had a wonderful time. The two most satisfying highlights were the hot springs and breakfast! The hotel has its own natural hot springs with excellent water quality and multiple pools. Children can splash and play to their heart's content – a fantastic experience. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich and diverse, clearly meeting the high standards of a large hotel catering to groups. There was a wide variety of options, including authentic local Chengdu snacks like Bobo Chicken and Qiaojiao Beef Noodles, all with genuine flavors. The dining experience was excellent. However, there were also two clear shortcomings that significantly impacted our rest: 1. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, especially the room carpets, which had a strong odor. On the first night, we were given a north-facing room with no sunlight, and the carpet smell was pungent, making it hard to sleep. After extending our stay and moving to a higher-floor king room on the second day, the smell improved. I suggest the hotel urgently replace the old carpets and renovate the hardware facilities. 2. The soundproofing of the windows was poor. Even after moving to a better room, there was a persistent dripping or similar noise from outside the window throughout the night, lasting until past 1 AM. This severely affected our sleep and rest. We had hoped to relax after climbing the mountain, but we didn't get a good night's sleep either night, which was quite disappointing. Overall: The service, location, hot springs, and breakfast were all impeccable, and our child particularly loved the family-friendly activities. However, the aging hardware, carpet odor, and soundproofing issues need urgent optimization. If the hardware can be renovated and upgraded, it would definitely be the top choice for accommodation in Mount Emei! Overall, it's still recommendable, and we look forward to the hotel's future improvements."

I recommend Leshan eel noodles, which is a 7-minute taxi ride and a 20-minute walk from the food street. The breakfast is rich in variety and tastes great, meeting the needs of different tastes. The geographical location is superior, the surrounding transportation is convenient, and there are various shopping and dining options. Whether it is a business trip or a leisure vacation, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommended, will definitely come again next time!"
