Luxury Hotels in Lhasa

"The service is the worst of all hotels where we have stayed worldwide. It is worse than even any 1-star rated hotel in China. Right from the entry, the check in is chaotic. No one attends to luggage. It takes 2 hours to do formalities and return passports. In Room dining, the order is a huge challenge. They take 2 hours to take order and deliver the food after 1 hour, when they serve only the food in a plate. No seperate dishes or any cutliaries (spoon or fork or chopsticks ... nothing provided). When you point these out, they say sorry and take another 1 hour to bring plates, chop sticks etc. BY now 5 hours passed and food is so cold and not eatable. This is a regular scenario ... repeated 3 times, I.e. everything we placed an order. It's a huge challenge. On amenities, the beds are extremely uncomfortable. If you just take a turn while sleeping, the other person is sure to wake up. They call king size bed .. it's two seperate beds kept side by side with cheap quality spring mattress. On breakfast, it's very limited and every day same menu. No varieties, the food taste is horrible as well. Extremely bad experience.for the price that is paid. The feeling has been a complete waste of money, sleepless nights, staying hugry and waiting for food post order for 5.hours every time we ordered room dining. The same situation in restaurent as well."

Most importantly, there's a medical clinic on the basement level with doctors available for check-ups – thumbs up! 👍"

"Great hotel, large room (was upgraded for free to Suite), clean. Marshal at reception was friendly and attentive. Large variety at breakfast, although the western options are still slightly limited. Would be nice to have greek yoghurt and more cereal choices. Chinese options are great. Joy (waitress at breakfast) was very good and deserves a mention!"

"The room is very clean and hygienic. The breakfast is good, with rich variety and spacious environment. The bedding is very comfortable, clean and has no smell of smoke. Oxygen is available 24 hours in the lobby, and hot drinks are welcome - Rhodiola in the lobby: I have not experienced these two. Coke and Wanglaoji are free in the room. It is worth noting that not all rooms have oxygen, and you need to book a ”room supply” room. The hotel restaurant is also OK. The portion is large and the taste is good, suitable for those who don't want to walk out."

"入住後體驗如下： 1.早餐豆漿瓶有，裏面沒有豆漿，咖啡機有，無咖啡，甜茶壺有，無甜茶，最後倒了一杯白開水喝； 2.攜程訂的延遲退房至14：00，上午10點多開始前台來電話催退房，向其説明己有延遲退房至14：00，如果第一次是為了確認退房時間可以理解這次的來電。11點多又來電，因接聽後對方反覆在喂喂喂，於是通過攜程平台去電酒店，對方詢問退房時間需在12點前，本人説明己延遲退房至14：00，前台説最多延到13點，向其説明平台上已顯示延遲退房至14：00前，後為了不至於節外生枝請平台介入解決。 3.午餐問題，房間訂餐電話與二樓餐廳顯示的訂餐電話不一樣，才知道為什麼房間裏訂餐電話一直聯繫不上了… 綜上，酒店整體的硬件設施還不錯，但是服務意識有待提高，如果酒店是2024年才開業的話，因為臨近機場有其特殊性需求，如果配套服務跟不上，那麼目前的狀況導致的前景讓人堪憂～ 旅遊業要發展的好，不光是要靠好山好水好建築，還需要專業的服務能力和服務精神，這可能還需要管理部門的引導、培訓和重視！"

The hotel staff not only helped me check in early, but also helped me with my luggage as soon as I got off the taxi and asked me if I was hungry. Every staff member had a smile on their face and was very attentive. Secondly, the hotel rooms are very clean, and the shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush used are all good brands.  When I passed the reception when I was leaving, the staff immediately handed me a bottle of water and told me to drink more water when I went out. It was very thoughtful. I had dinner and lunch at the hotel, both were very good and the portions were sufficient. I also went to the hotel bar in the evening. The bartender was very professional and the drinks were delicious. Highly recommended, if you go to Lhasa, you must stay in this hotel!"

The expectations were high before departure, but I didn't expect that I would still be amazed by the beauty here. The housekeeper Luosang called to inquire about the arrival time before checking in, and he was already waiting at the door to greet us warmly when he arrived at the hotel. Lhasa in winter is more prone to altitude sickness than in summer. The housekeeper first took us to rest in the hotel lobby and tasted the special highland barley milk cakes and sweet tea, which was as warm as welcoming his friends to visit his home. The battery car arrived directly at the guest room, and the door was opened with an ancient key. The ******* fragrance came out. The ******* decoration style is unique and elegant. The sunlight filled the living room through the ******* window. Language cannot describe this warm feeling. Every Songzan person I met in the hotel is sincere and lovely. They really treat us as guests from afar, allowing us to have a more comfortable stay. Breakfast is on the second floor, and you can overlook the Potala Palace. It's a pity that the Western restaurant on the third floor is closed recently. For dinner, I chose the ******* restaurant on the second floor. The dishes are very good. The restaurants are very quiet and the atmosphere is very good. There is also a boutique next to the hotel lobby. The scarves from Nole and the carpets from Kavajian are worth buying. I really don't want to leave. I will bring my family here again if I have the chance."

"The room was spotless, and the view of the Potala Palace from here was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is perfectly situated right behind and to the right of the Potala Palace, making my windowsill my 'personal viewing platform': At midday, wisps of clouds drifted across its white walls and golden roofs, as if a breathing quilt was draped over the ancient palace; In the evening, the setting sun painted the Red Palace a honeyed hue, and as prayer flags fluttered in the wind, they seemed like countless hands applauding it; The moment the night lights came on, the entire palace suddenly 'came alive' – like an ancient ship moored in the darkness, carrying the stories of the Tubo Dynasty, slowly sailing towards the myriad lights of modern Lhasa. The complimentary biscuits were delicious, and the other snacks were great too! The butler and front desk service were warm and attentive. I arrived close to 2 PM, having not yet eaten, and the small eatery they recommended – the third shop after turning right from the hotel – was absolutely delightful."

"I have lived in this hotel before, and I have always felt that their home is really good in all aspects. The waiters are very good. They take the initiative to say hello and are very enthusiastic. Especially the front desk also helps with the luggage. I feel the warmth because I have a lot of big bags and small bags. One person has to take it up and down several times. The environment is also very good. The decoration is very luxurious. It is suitable for taking pictures and punching in. Needless to say, the hygiene is really good several times.
