Mountain View Hotels in Lhasa

This is one of those hotels you'll want to return to after you've left. The name is long and hard to remember, but the stay will leave a lasting impression. My husband and I stayed here in Lhasa, and the ladies at the front desk, along with the front desk manager, gave us a warm welcome and explanation. They even upgraded us to a family deluxe room with a view of the Potala Palace, which is stunning at night. The hotel facilities are comprehensive and exceptionally clean, and the dispersed oxygen supply ensured we slept well during our high-altitude trip. The hotel itself is like a museum, with its decor showcasing authentic ******* style, allowing you to experience ******* culture right on site. The breakfast spread is incredibly rich, offering a delicious selection of Chinese, Western, and ******* cuisines. The first-floor restaurant has both Chinese and Western set meals, as well as an authentic ******* restaurant, making dining and staying very convenient. What's most commendable is the location. It's less than a 15 RMB taxi ride to the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, and the Tibet Museum. Getting onto the highway is also very easy. All in all, our stay at this hotel was excellent. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Lhasa and will recommend it to our friends. I absolutely love Farly Hotel. The staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, are incredibly kind and welcoming. The hotel offers a wide range of activities, like spinning prayer wheels and performing sang offerings. I particularly recommend the evening sound bath experience and the morning Pilates. The instructor's stretching exercises really helped improve my posture. I also woke up early to watch the sunrise, but there's a mountain to the east of Farly, so the sun actually appears about 45 minutes after the official sunrise time. Still, it was a beautiful sight.

FANTASTIC! Located a little off the beaten track on a side street, this hotel is like stepping into another world, like something out of a fairy tale. The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated. Old meets new, as there's an elevator and the room doors can be opened with modern keycards. Another great feature is the heated mattress topper for when it gets really cold. The rooftop terrace offers a fantastic view of the Potala Palace and the surrounding area. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! A simple breakfast, including coffee, is also available. All in all: 100% value for money! Keep up the good work and all the best!

The newly opened Hampton by Hilton in the Lhasa Economic Development Zone is incredibly new, with freshly opened room cards. I chose it because it was new, but I encountered a number of issues, which I'd like to share with you. First, the receptionist was very interesting and diligently asked about my room requirements. I requested a quieter room on a higher floor, but to my surprise, I received a room on a higher floor facing the laundry facilities. The room also had a strong odor, like a moldy refrigerator. Lhasa, as dry as it is, shouldn't have such a smell. I suspect it was the odor of laundry. Since the receptionist didn't know the room well, why bother asking for guest requirements? Our group of three had the same three-bedroom room, but two had a pull-out sofa bed, while one had a standard single sofa. Booking systems in other cities clearly indicate that these are two different room types, and there's a price difference. Another point: this was my second trip to Tibet, and I've stayed in over a dozen hotels, large and small, but this was the first one I encountered that actually required a QR code to pay for oxygen. I think Hampton's approach isn't very good, and in high-altitude areas where oxygen is a necessity, this is highly questionable.

This hotel is newly opened this year and boasts excellent facilities and amenities. Located in the heart of Damxung County, it's conveniently situated for shopping, dining, and parking, making it perfect for road trips. The hotel owner and staff were incredibly welcoming during check-in; the owner personally helped us with our luggage, upgraded our room for free, and answered all our questions. The rooms were spacious, equipped with oxygen supply, and even included massage chairs for guests' complimentary use – such thoughtful touches! I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Damxung.

This homestay really exceeded expectations, the decoration style is elegant and beautiful, the facilities are complete, and the bedding is soft and sleeps particularly peaceful. The surrounding environment is quiet and comfortable, and it is particularly healing from the hustle and bustle. The landlord is kind and easy-going, and the answer is very intimate. The living experience is full. It is really worth everyone to stay!

Very satisfied with everything, the best is the customer service, always answer all questions. Buy an oxygen tube for RMB 10/piece, and you can arrange an oxygen machine at the lobby bar to provide free oxygen. There were sanitary defects, cigarette butts were found, we don't smoke as a family, but it was acceptable, the sprinkler pipe leaked, and the water pressure increased after cleaning. Everything was cured by the warm customer service.
