Mountain View Hotels in Las Vegas

The hotel is quite new, and the location is decent. The room itself is spacious and very clean, with excellent beds and pillows. The air conditioning is very strong yet surprisingly quiet. The decor is modern, but it lacks the luxurious feel you'd find in older, more established hotels like Wynn. Be careful with the mini-fridge in the room; it starts charging you after just a few seconds. I had to complain to the front desk later to get the charge removed.

The hotel's directions were really unclear. I asked the front desk about parking, and they just said it was around the corner, without mentioning it was upstairs. It was dark, and we spent ages looking for it. We only found out where it was after spotting a security guard in the staff parking lot and asking him. On top of that, Ctrip dropped the price after I booked, which is annoying enough. But then, the hotel gives free breakfast vouchers to all guests, and Ctrip still charged extra for it – that's just not right.

The Sahara is a really great hotel at a great price point It's in the monorail and that makes it easy free Self parking is great too and it's close (attached)  The pool is large and lovely with an amazing set of large screens to meet any sports lovers needs Rooms big clean and quiet Un- stocked bar fridge is a real bonus for drinks  It's in a great part of the strip Good coffee and restaurants there too in site I've stayed at MGM Grand for double $$ and the Sahara is better in my view

An unexpectedly amazing hotel experience! We arrived quite late, around 11 PM, due to delays on the road, but thankfully, we only waited a few minutes to check in—no long queues, which was a pleasant surprise. The front desk lady was incredibly welcoming and had a great sense of humor. She clearly explained all the hotel policies and even upgraded us to a suite without us asking. The room was incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated with unique touches, creating wonderful memories for my mother and me. The hotel's location is also excellent, making it easy to go shopping, and the parking fees were reasonable.

Stayed at Vdara recently and wanted to share a few highlights and realities from the experience. The location isn’t ideal for public transport—you’ll need to walk about 10 minutes outdoor to reach the nearest bus stop (which is quite challenging in summer time with over 100F). However, the hotel is well connected to others like Park MGM and Bellagio, which are just a 10–15 minute indoor walk away or could take monorail.  Dining options directly at Vdara are quite limited. For a wider range, you may head to nearby hotels like Cosmopolitan or Bellagio, though most options there are on the pricier side. we ended up order uber for meal delivery, which is a less expensive option. Lyft is a good choice for getting around more easily, coz if u take bus to downtown, it can take an hour for a single ride. Rooms come with a kitchen, which sounds convenient, but kitchenware isn’t provided unless requested. If you’re planning to cook, be prepared for a bit of a hike—nearest supermarket is about a 20-minute walk away. We also had an unfortunate experience on arrival: found leftovers from the previous guest in the kitchen—pretty disgusting. When we asked for a kettle and cups, the cups still had stains on them, which was disappointing and frankly, unacceptable for a hotel of this level. Definitely some upsides in terms of location and connectivity, but for what you pay, the convenience and cleanliness left a lot to be desired.

The hotel exterior is stylish and elegant, but the rooms are a bit dated. The bathroom had a persistent smell that wouldn't go away; we noticed it every time we entered the room. We stayed for three nights and informed the front desk about the issue. We couldn't switch rooms because the hotel was fully booked, but they promised to fix it and refund one night's resort fee. We thought it would be resolved after the 'repair,' but the smell remained the same. Additionally, the in-room phone was purely decorative and didn't work at all. I had to go down to the front desk and wait in line just to communicate with them. I hope they can improve the room's ventilation system.

I left the phone somewhere around 330pm at hotel and someone maybe staff in restroom I think, keep it for me and keep at lost and found dept. Thank you so much for great kindness. Room was great bed and pillows very soft and super comfortable. In room has no fridge and kettle. Only electric drip coffee maker with charge coffee ground if use. They have 2 starbucks and food court downstair and Walllgreen nearby so it's ok. The view was awesome can see both Sphere and the high roller closely. Will definately go back to stay here. Highly recommend.

WELL, THE MAIDS CAME KNOCKING ON MY DOOR TWICE AT 9:30AM FOR HOUSEKEEPING BUT CHECK OUT IS AT 11AM. THEN SOMEONE TOOK MY RUBBER EAR PODS OF MY HEADPHONES. I THINK THE EMPLOYEES NEED A VACATION OR AN APPRECIATION AWARD OR SOMETHING🤣. ASIDE FROM THAT, I FIGURED OUT THE BATHROOM LIGHTING BUTTONS THE NEXT DAY. THESE DIGITAL ROOMS ARE AN EXTRA STRENUOUS ENCOUNTER FOR TRAVELS. BEING LAID-OFF, I ENJOYED MY KING SUITE WITH THE TEENAGERS ' GRAFFITI.😈

The hotel is located on a main avenue and features its own flamingo park, which is a unique touch. There are many rooms, and you can self-check-in. Despite the lively location, the room rates are quite affordable, placing it in the category of a mid-tier hotel. Consequently, don't expect grand shows, though there is a small 'X' show. As is common in the US, rooms aren't cleaned if you don't tip, but that's standard. The extra-large pool, however, is a definite plus.

My husband and I came to Hilton Lake Las Vegas to spend our 7th wedding anniversary. Check in went very smoothly. Shortly after our check in we received a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. It was a very welcoming surprise which we genuinely appreciated. We had booked a couples massage at their spa and were very pleased with their services. It was quite relaxing and exactly what we needed! Our room was very clean and quiet. We ordered in room service for breakfast and the food was very much to our liking! We’ve stayed at this resort several times prior and have always been pleased with our stay there. We will definitely be back!
