"The location is fantastic, right by the MRT station! Yancheng has so many great food options. This is a newly opened hotel, but it doesn't quite feel new; the hallways are really dark, to the point of being a bit uncomfortable. The room itself is very spacious, but the layout is a bit odd. It's nice that the window lets in light, but it's uncomfortably close to the building opposite, so we ended up closing the curtains. I understand that's just how it is in the city, though. The lighting in the room is a bit dim. The bathroom is large, and while the drainage is a little slow, the shower pressure is excellent. However, it's a bit inconvenient that there's no separate wet and dry area. Overall, I found it a bit pricey for what it offers, and I might not stay here again. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly, which is a big plus."

"Hotel Review (Safety Concern): The hotel provided some small complimentary items like facial masks and instant noodles, which I understand are meant to create a pleasant experience for guests. However, I personally feel that no small amenities can outweigh a basic safety concern. The room was generally clean, but the bedding was not very comfortable — the duvet cover did not feel like pure cotton and was less breathable than expected. More importantly, the bed design is potentially unsafe. The headboard is made of hard wood with sharp, square edges and no cushioning. It is also positioned at a very low height — exactly where your head naturally moves when lying down. I accidentally hit my head quite hard, and I am still feeling pain even now. I chose not to raise this issue during my stay because I did not want to cause trouble. I understand everyone is working hard, and negative reviews can impact business. However, safety is something that should not be overlooked. I hope the hotel can take this seriously and consider making improvements. For future guests, please be extra careful when lying down."

The room was spacious and bright, with simple yet stylish decor, and the bed was so soft and comfortable that I slept soundly all night. The staff were friendly and professional, proactively offering recommendations for local food and travel tips. The overall environment was clean and tidy, with smooth WiFi and excellent facilities – great value for money! Whether for business or leisure, this is definitely my top choice for accommodation in Kaohsiung. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!"

"Turns out this used to be the 'Holiday Inn,' just rebranded and renovated! The lobby has a great vacation vibe with its lighting. However, the elevators haven't been updated; when the doors open, there's a loud metallic clang that's quite unpleasant. As soon as I opened my room door, there was a slight musty smell. The air conditioning was very loud initially but went into a noise-reduction mode after a while, probably because it was just starting up. I couldn't adjust the fan speed, which was really annoying. There were a few spots with mold and water stains on the walls. The most irritating thing was getting bitten by a mosquito twice—I eventually had to execute it! The traffic noise outside the window will wake you up quite early, and the elevator doors opening and closing will also prevent you from sleeping in. The hotel also completely ignored my requests to be far from the elevators and corners; it was useless. They intentionally placed me right by the elevator entrance, as if it were a wake-up call. So, for future guests, definitely try to avoid room '1002' because it faces the elevator!"

"The hotel is very close to Formosa Boulevard Station. If you're staying at a large hotel, remember to use Exit 1 and turn right… (Exit 11 only has stairs). Twilight Hostel is a hotel I stayed at because it felt safer. It has a lift inside. The environment is very clean, and the owner responded quickly. We upgraded from a double room to a triple room this night. The room was spacious, with great facilities, and very clean and comfortable. The Liuhe Night Market is downstairs, which is very convenient. I will definitely choose Twilight Hostel again next time I'm in Kaohsiung. 👍👍👍"
