New Building, Modern and Clean: As a new hotel under the JR West Group, the overall architecture and room design are modern. The interior of the rooms and the bathrooms are immaculately clean, making for a very reassuring and comfortable stay. Attentive and Thoughtful Service: From the front desk reception to the various hotel instructions (such as the hotel guide and multilingual explanations), you can feel the professional and warm hospitality characteristic of Japanese hotels. Fantastic ”Hibari no Yu” Public Bath: The large public bath, ”Hibari no Yu,” located on the 10th floor, was the highlight of the entire stay! Soaking in the comfortable hot spring not only relieved the fatigue from a day of exploring Kumamoto, but after the bath, you could also relax and unwind in the comfortable Refresh Space, enjoying an ultimate healing experience. 🛏️ Room and Facilities Tour Stepping into the guest room, the warm wooden tones and modern minimalist decor created a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The room layout was neat, featuring a comfortable bed and a clean air purifier. Drawing back the curtains revealed charming views of Kumamoto city and the clear blue sky with white clouds in the morning. The hotel also thoughtfully provides vending machines, ice makers, microwaves, and laundry facilities on the 1st and 10th floors. There's even a FamilyMart (or 7-11 Heart-in), making the living amenities unbeatable. My stay at Hotel Vischio Kumamoto by JR West Group <Hibari no Yu>, whether it was the clean environment, convenient transportation, or the healing public bath, added immense happiness to this trip to Kumamoto. "Location is a bit far from Kumamoto station. Walking distance is about 35min but you can take a tram to reach. Overall the hotel is good. There is also a public bath with hot pool. For those shy or feel uncomfortable to use the public bath, there is also a very private bathroom attached."

"This guesthouse is really well-designed. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, plus there's a kitchen and a washing machine. The bed is very comfortable, and there's a tatami area perfect for lounging around. The space is huge, and there's even a parking spot. It's incredibly comfortable!"
