Servatur Alameda de Jandía

Servatur Alameda de Jandía

📍 Calle Bentejuí, 4, Morro Jable
★★★ 8.3 (66 reviews)

"The hotel is old but completely renovated. The location is perfect, and the value for money is very good. The pool is very inviting. However, it has two drawbacks: one is the parking area, which is impossible and also a bit unsafe due to theft. But the worst thing of all is a karaoke bar in a run-down shopping center across the street that blasts music all night long. Perhaps it's to attract customers, since there's hardly anyone there, but it's impossible to sleep at night."

"Simply put, I was disappointed by the ladies and gentlemen who organize Extra Adventures, dressed up in TUI clothing, because they don't even know what time the Kids Club opens. Yet they still sold me something, even though they knew I wanted to take my 5-year-old to the Kids Club at that time, while I wanted to go jet-skiing with my 11-year-old—but the Kids Club closed at 9 a.m. I also booked a car that was supposed to come to the hotel. Instead, they were supposed to pick me up from the hotel and take me somewhere else to complete the paperwork. This was, of course, problematic because the children were still asleep in the hotel room at that time. As a single father, this is understandably impossible for me. One particularly negative point is that all the sunbeds are permanently reserved (they start before 6 a.m.)—mostly by German citizens, who are always and regularly unpleasantly conspicuous."

"Fantastic hotel, we came away to celebrate our parents 40th wedding anniversary and there was a free bottle of champagne in the room waiting with a lovely note. It was a lovely gesture. The rooms we stayed in were side sea rooms, they did over look the main road but it was fine, very little noise and had a lovely view of the lighthouse to the left. The food was so good, best all inclusive by far, there was something for everyone every night, always hot, always fresh and they keep it so so clean! No spillages on the side, always so friendly and helpful. The entertainment staff were super friendly and they had just the right amount of conversation with you, sometimes they pressure you to take part in activities but they were really approachable and didn’t nag you to join in if you didn’t want to, really lovely people. The pool was always warm, I don’t know if it’s heated but my 8 month old was able to stay in the pool for quite a long time due to it being warm, which was a bonus as I was worried it was going to be cold for him. The sunbeds were never taken up, there was always plenty around. The location is near a few shops that we walked to with a pram, the beach is gorgeous would 100% recommend this hotel. It’s by far the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Definitely stay here!!!"

"Peaceful location, great food and drinks, plenty of space around pools and situated near to a small corner shop. Very clean and well maintained. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. WiFi is good. Short walk to the shingle beach, we also found a great pub for the football about 20min walk away. This hotel is around an hour drive from the airport so need to factor in time / cost of reaching this chilled spot but if you’re after a quiet relaxing break (and a help yourself bar!) this is ideal."

"We are currently here now, 3 days into a 7 day stay, and so far it is very disappointing. Upon arrival, after checking in, we were sent off to find our own room, in the dark, with nothing but a very basic map. For a supposed 4 star hotel to have no porter service of any shape is poor. There was also little or no information about meals, hotel, services or anything else for that matter! We got into the room, which in fairness is clean, but very basic. No kettle, no cups, no cutlery of any sort. We enquired at reception if we should have a kettle at least, only to be told we could rent one, and then, snuggly, that if we had booked a seaview room we could have had one free. We actually tried but they were all booked, and still paid extra for a pool access room. I feel for anyone with small kids who need hot water! The next day we visited the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, at the specific time slot we were given ( you are given 45 mins to complete your meal!), and were again disappointed. Now, I have to say that we are observing Lent so not eating meat and fish, but the choice for us was so basic. At breakfast the cereal and crackers were stale, certain items were not replenished (even though we were within our allocated slot), and the fruit juice (out of a machine) was both powdery in taste and sour! Come dinner, and we basically had to eat salad and potatoes (which were warm at best). Again, the choice for vegetarians was virtually non existent, unless you want a heat lamp dried out Margherita pizza! Then the final straw today, prior to our 0915 breakfast slot, the cleaner (male) just walks into our room shouting 'hola', without attempting to knock. My partner is standing in the lounge naked as they do, so she clearly tells him to go away! We proceeded to go out for the day, and come back to find our room still not cleaned. The reception seems to have no interest in your complaints. I have stayed at the Barcelo in Caleta on many occasions, but wanted to try Jamdia for a change, and compared to this it is a palace, even though it's the same star rating. I guess we'll be eating out for the rest of the week!"

"A beautiful complex with a heated pool. If you have trouble with steps, this isn't the place for you. Unfortunately, the parking lot is too small. Excellent breakfast, huge room with a sea view, unfortunately marred by a fence. Otherwise, it's quiet and pleasant! The beach is magnificent, just below the public building, but so large that there's no problem with space."

Mur Faro Jandia Fuerteventura & Spa Hotels in Pajara

Mur Faro Jandia Fuerteventura & Spa

"We have stayed at this hotel twice over the past 2 years and the Mur Hotel Faro has always lived upto expectations and was becoming a favourite, quiet, convenient to town and beach and pleasant hotel employees Regrettably, whilst checking out of the hotel, Bergona, the lady at reception, became very hostile particularly towards my wife when she insisted we had not fully paid the account and we would not be able to leave the hotel until we showed her the proof of payment, of course we had paid. We could not believe this was happening in front of the taxi driver who was waiting and many embarrassed hotel guests at reception, the hotel management should think about re-training some employee's !"

Hotel Riu Palace Calypso - Adults Only Hotels in Pajara

Hotel Riu Palace Calypso - Adults Only

"When we arrived at the hotel we were given a very nice, modern hotel room. The balcony was very spacious and the view of the beach was perfect. The quality of food was just OK. If you’ve been to a Riu 5 star, you’ll definitely be able to tell the difference. There elevator was extremely slow and you could be waiting several minutes for one. So if you’re booking, don’t pick a high floor. I’d say 90%+ of the customers are German and in some cases the staff could speak German and not English. Overall, it was very a very pleasant stay and once the weather is good, there is very little to complain about."

"I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I chose it based on my previous positive experiences with Meliá hotels around the world—from Dubai to Zanzibar—but unfortunately, this location fell far below those standards. The only positives were the entrance and the Ginger Bar. Beyond that, the overall quality of the hotel was very poor. Many of the staff seemed disengaged and unwilling to help, which made the experience even more frustrating. The food was especially disappointing. I ordered a burger that arrived practically raw. When I sent it back, they returned the same half-eaten burger, simply reheated—not properly cooked. I also received the wrong side (sweet potato fries instead of regular fries), and within seconds of raising this, they brought back fries that were undercooked and cold. A hot dog I ordered was also of extremely low quality and served cold I ordered pint they delivered it and said unfortunately it’s glass so we can’t leave the pint with you will come back. When You Need more they never came back. I paid for a pint only got a cup. I stayed at the hotel to support my mother, who is injured and a blue badge holder. Despite booking a double room, I was asked to pay an additional £35 per night for food and £50 per night just to be a guest. While I understand policies, this felt unreasonable given the circumstances. Accessibility was another major issue. The lifts were not working, making it very difficult for my mother to move around, as she had to rely on the stairs. Additionally, there was constant noise from drilling in the mornings, which made it hard to rest. Communication was also challenging, as many staff members had limited English, making it difficult to raise concerns. While the manager did reach out to me at the end of my stay, it was too late, as I had already left. Although she provided her business card and suggested another Meliá property, my experience here has made me hesitant to trust the brand again. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel, especially considering the price. There are better and more affordable options nearby—I would personally choose H10 hotels instead, which offer better value and are closer to the beach."

Iberostar Waves Gaviotas Park ★★★★
"This was the first time I'd stayed at all all-inclusive resort, and it set the bar high. The whole complex is very modern. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food was amazing. We had a family suite, with 3 beds end to end (which worked well) in the main room and a separate room with a king bed. The shower room was massive, and there was a fridge and microwave. It also had a balcony looking out over the pool area. The food varied a bit every day (some staple items were the same - this was fine). They really made an effort for valentine's day, when the dessert section in particular was amazing. There were several stations with live cooking. There was also a second buffet/snack area down near the pool where a barbecue was on one of the nights we were there. The inclusive drinks were pretty good. Wine was not mind-blowingly amazing but perfectly drinkable. The choice of inclusive spirits was great too. Only the beer let it down. I'm a bit of a beer snob and the only beer was a very watery lager. Plenty of choice when it came to soft drinks too. The entertainment was maybe the only slight letdown. It certainly wasn't awful but didn't feel quite as premium as the rest of the resort. One other thing of note is (despite a couple of previous reviews) that I found that the behaviour of guests (children and adults), even with the inclusive alcohol, was very good. It felt like a premium resort and there weren't any "lager louts" or bratty kids about. The beach is a 5 minute walk away. It's a hilly path but not too steep. I would be really picky to mark the hotel down, but other than the entertainment, the only other thing was that the food wasn't always labelled in the restaurant. Maybe this is typical of Spain but it wouldn't meet allergy regulations in the UK. A minor point for me though. Location-wise, it's a bit of a walk or bus to the town. We hired a car and had no issues getting a space in the car park."

"At the crystal restaurant, I asked for a litre of sangria. They said that was not available although the bar was only steps away. I ordered the same in Riu Gran Canaria crystal restaurant and they went to the bar to fulfil my request (great service) In the buffet restaurant all the waitresses and most of the waiters were extremely hard-working and amiable. A couple of waiters were not to the required standard or very friendly. "

"We found the team here to be really friendly and the accommodation was excellent. We stayed in a sea view apartment which was kept spotlessly clean and had more than everything which you could hope for when self catering. The hotel was quiet and had a relaxed vibe which was just perfect. The walk to the beach takes less than 5 minutes and the local restaurants are only a ten minute stroll away. If you're heading to Coast Calma we'd recommend considering staying here."

"Absolutely Perfect Birthday Stay! I have just returned from a wonderful birthday stay at the Iberostar Selection Fuerteventura Palace and honestly couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate. I stayed in the Star Prestige section and it was worth every penny. The exclusive areas, personalised service, peaceful atmosphere, and little extra touches made the whole experience feel truly special. From the moment I arrived, I felt valued as a guest. A very special thank you must go to Yolanda from Guest Relations. She made my holiday before I had even arrived! Yolanda assisted with pre-arrival arrangements, checked in with me before my trip, and ensured everything was in place for my birthday stay. Her communication, warmth, and professionalism were exceptional. She is a real credit to the hotel and one of the main reasons my experience was so memorable. I would also like to thank Nadia for the excellent check-in experience. After travelling and arriving very late in the evening, it was lovely to be welcomed so warmly and professionally. The service throughout the hotel was outstanding. A big thank you to Soto, Diego, and Chavez, who consistently delivered excellent service in the restaurants and bars. Friendly, attentive, and always smiling, they helped make every meal and drink feel special. The hotel itself is beautiful, immaculately maintained, and perfectly located overlooking the stunning Jandía beach. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice and consistently high quality. The Star Prestige facilities offered a peaceful retreat with incredible views and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. What really sets this hotel apart, however, is its people. The staff genuinely care about their guests and go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Thank you to everyone at Iberostar Selection Fuerteventura Palace for making my birthday so special. I left with wonderful memories and cannot wait to return. Highly recommended. 5 stars all the way!"
