CCuiAmyThis was a good option for a motel as we wanted to break up our trip with our 2-year-old to drive less. The location was perfect in terms of access from the motorway and getting around on foot once we arrived (nice park on one side, the amenities (restaurants, shops) on the other). The staff (including owners) was really helpful in any respect and the room (while typically simple for a motel) was comfortable. If we were to come to or through Albury again, we would consider the Albury Regent again.
MmwhillIt was only a brief stay on our way down to Melbourne but the accommodation was clean, comfortable and spacious. We were late getting in but the reception communicated the best way to get into our room and there were even coffee pods!!! (not just instant). We do this trip a few times a year and I have already made a mental note where we will be staying next time we need a hotel.
QQingmanqiantangI like motels the most. Although the rooms are a little small, they have refrigerators, microwaves, and toasters. We had to leave early the next day, and the staff brought us breakfast in the evening, including milk, bread, jam, cheese, and cereals. We could heat them up the next day.
VVadim1986Lovely hotel in Albury, spacious rooms and parking. Couldn't rate the restaurant as it was closed on Sunday. Stayed one night - all was great.
GGuest UserAfter running all the way, I finally met the Chinese compatriots. They were warm and hospitable and gave us a lot of help. Under the guidance of the boss, we also bought n95 masks in this small town. I was very happy. I was not used to eating Western food. The family of the boss made it for us Authentic Chinese food, tomato, egg, rice, and home-made lamb soup. The motel accommodation is also very good, clean, hygienic, convenient to go, the town is beautiful, it is recommended to stay
MMichael DavidA no nonsense motel, clean and comfortable beds, part of a the hotel and bar, good food, pleasant staff. I think most of the rooms had a bath! Very close to the Lavington Centre and other outlets. Good for one or two nights
SSandeepGThe first impression of the property was great s as it looked good from the outside. However, that impression was dampened with the behavior of the reception staff. No smile, no greeting, no friendly chatter. Nothing making us feel welcome after a long drive. I even had a 3 month old in my arm. She is usually pampered wherever we go. But the reception staff did not even bother, let alone smile.
The evening receptionist was also not very friendly. I asked for 2 dental kits and was told there is only 1 and end of conversation. I get they may have gone out of stock. But I feel there is a way to present stuff.
Apart from that the stay was good, the rooms and facilities were generally clean, except that I noticed a tiny cockroach in the bar area of the restaurant.
Ok for one night stay.
GGuest UserThis was our second stay on the way back from Melbourne. It's in quite a good location near fast food places and supermarkets. But it's quite far from town centre. Check in was good as usual with friendly and helpful staff. The room is a bit dated and gets noisy from traffic and people walking by. There's coffee and tea with kettle. Wifi is better in this room. Air conditioner is very loud. My biggest gripe was being asked to vacate at 9.45am when the check out is at 10am. Other than that it's fine. The food in the restaurant is good and the daily specials are fantastic at $15.
GGuest UserUnfortunately the floors were quite unclean. Befind the bathroom door was a patch on the tiles which was dirty and there was a dead cockroach.
The towels were incredibly thin.
