This yurt is the top choice for your grassland adventure – the experience far exceeded my expectations! The yurt is spacious, decorated with traditional ethnic flair, and the beds are clean and dry. It's equipped with a bathroom, hot water, and electricity – a far cry from the old-fashioned, basic accommodations. Stepping outside, you're greeted by the vast, verdant grasslands, the air thick with the scent of grass. Watch the sunrise over the grasslands in the morning, admire the sunset over grazing cattle and sheep in the evening, and gaze at the starry sky through the skylight at night – the atmosphere is simply divine. The freshly made hand-pulled mutton and salty milk tea are authentic and delicious, offering exceptional value. For an immersive nomadic experience, this grassland accommodation is highly recommended!

Very friendly host

I found this resort from the Internet. It has a good environment and is located deep in the grassland. The rooms are clean and tidy. The boss is so enthusiastic. The food is not expensive and is for public consumption. The lamb chops are delicious and worth recommending!

It was my first time staying in a motorhome, and it was beyond my expectations. The Starry Sky Motorhome was very bright and spacious, and the scenery outside the window was beautiful. We watched a yurt performance here, and the children rode a small train and played go-karts. The bonfire party was very exciting, and we all danced together. The next day, we also watched lambs in the pastoral area and drank Mongolian milk tea. I would like to mention that the housekeeper, Miss Li Jiamin, was very warm and considerate in her service, and the children liked her very much.

The most beautiful Northern Xinjiang, with beautiful scenery, drove for more than 90 kilometers and drove for nearly an hour. During the journey, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the green mountains. Then we arrived at the Xilamuren Grassland Scenic Area Hotel. The first thing that caught our eyes was the neat rows of white yurts and yurts. Rows of luxurious cabins complement the blue sky and white clouds and complement each other! The landlady is very enthusiastic and very beautiful! They arranged meals and check-in for us. In the afternoon, we watched the iconic performance ”Legend of Monan”, the image endorsement of Xilamuren Grassland. It was particularly shocking and we truly felt the heroic song of the Mongolian nation! In the evening, we caught up with the ”Welcome Bonfire Party” with the theme of Labor Day in the scenic spot. Nice stay, food is available for morning, lunch, dinner extra activities: - go kart - horse riding - dancing and singing from locals during lunch/dinner a performance show available close to here, the owner can sell you the tickets for 140 instead of 280 from the ticket office. sometimes you don’t have warm water, so it might be a bit difficult during winter.

Absolutely amazing reviews, nothing to say. The hotel customer service, Mr. Li who picked us up, and the rest of the hotel staff were all super nice. The hotel has private bathrooms, which are clean and well-equipped. They provided free pick-up and drop-off, took us on tours, and gave us many discounts. We had a blast. We met lovely people on the Xilamuren Grassland. I'm so happy and will definitely come back! It's much more reliable to contact a hotel than a tour group! Blue skies, white clouds, green grass, and adorable lambs! Horseback riding and archery at the Aobao meeting were so much fun.

The check-in process was seamless, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, offering us a variety of activities right away. Shortly after arrival, we went horseback riding through the beautiful fields. Following that, we visited a nearby area with an array of activities like tea tasting, dressing up in traditional Mongolian clothing, archery, and viewing livestock. There was also an option to watch a horse riding show, but we decided to skip it as we were a bit tired. The room was cozy, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Even though it was cold outside, the heating kept the space warm, making it a perfect retreat after a long day of activities. It added a charming touch to the overall experience. In the evening, there was a large yurt on the premises where we enjoyed an authentic Mongolian dinner accompanied by a captivating live show. The night ended with fireworks, a bonfire, and more entertainment, making it a truly unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this place if you want a well-organized and immersive experience. Even though we don’t speak Chinese, communication was never an issue, and we always felt welcomed. A big thank you to the team for taking such great care of us!

That said, all the costs were quite expensive compared to what I'm used to after living and traveling in China for more than 10 years. I would recommend the horse riding off the main area, as they suggest, but the Happy Ranch was not that fulfilling—most of the rides and activities there weren't worth the time or money. That's an external activity though, so no discredit to the hotel itself. While we didn't end up using the actual amenities, the hospitality and cultural performance alone made the visit worthwhile.
