HhidinginplainsightWe had to scramble to Jinzhou due to medical emergency from overseas. We happened to book this hotel in a great hurry and it was truly the only thing that helped us preserve our sanity at a very fraught time.
It was also our first time using trip.com as I could not find much options in Jinzhou on ***********, my long time app of choice. I was worried about how things would turn out since I didn't know if I could trust trip.com or fully research my options as we had to rush to pack as well. As it turned out, I'm 100% sure that no other hotel in 4th tier Jinzhou city could have given us the experience, comfort and ambience that Manxin Hotel did. I don't say that lightly as a seasoned international traveller who's stayed at many types of hotels/guesthouses/motels over the years, it takes *a lot* to impress us enough to earn my praise and endorsement in a review.
Manxin Hotel felt like a small boutique hotel feel with 3 floors of rooms. It was only opened in Jan 2024, so it really feels nice and new with a high ceiling foyer /lounge area. The rooms are huge with huge floor to ceiling windows. Although it's next to a train station, the triple glazed windows amazingly cut out most of the noise. The beds were very comfortable, with great toiletries, great Laifun hairdryer and free drinks replenished daily. Even the tea bags they provided were of great quality. We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks so we were very happy to be able to use the complimentary washing machine service which saved me the hassle of having to hand wash my clothes daily in my room! There were some drainage issues in the shower but the hotel staff did try to sort out the problem. There's also a spacious gym available for those who are fitness fanatics. The hotel breakfast had great variety with quality coffee (not easy to find good coffee in China).
They even had a singer in the foyer 3 nights a week. Though I usually love listening to live music, the singers were students who were not quite able to deliver a performance befitting the old world charm and ambience of the hotel foyer.
Any hotel can have the best of facilities but often fall short on the service front. Since we were staying there for 2 weeks, we often had to deal with the hotel staff on a daily basis. We found them to be very competent, sincere, friendly, understanding and helpful for the most part, willing to do all that they could to assist us during our time of considerable distress and strain due to our family emergency. Even the housekeeping staff and the lady clearing plates in the breakfast area were warm and helpful!
As foreigners , we would sometimes need help with paperwork, scanning, photocopying, and other assistantance communicating with the outside world to make arrangements for international medical evacuation, WeChat/Alipay tutorials etc. We will always be grateful to the staff for all their efforts to assist in our time of need. In particular, we would like to thank Sales manager XY Yang and duty manager Hong for their tireless assistance and consideration.
If we were to go to Jinzhou again, Manxin hotel would absolutely be our only choice.

GGuest Userfirst! Full marks for service go to all the staff, especially the two pretty ladies at the front desk, who were warm and thoughtful! However, other parts of the hotel are indeed more or less insufficient because it has just opened. The first is that the room smells a bit strong, which is inevitable as a new hotel has just opened, but the hotel should take some corresponding measures, such as providing fragrance for customers in need. Currently, the room only relies on a small purifier to relieve physical discomfort; secondly, the refrigerator in the room does not cool but heats, and the yogurt I bought became warm after being left overnight, which is very puzzling; thirdly, the room price is not very different from that of Shenyang New World, but the richness of breakfast categories is quite different. Although the meal standards are different, as a newly opened benchmark hotel in Jinzhou, the quality of breakfast should be appropriately improved. I hope the above reasonable suggestions will be adopted as soon as possible.

It is a three-minute walk from Beijiashan attractions.
There are many people during the day. I entered the beach to the left of the entrance of the attraction at night to enjoy the moon. It was very interesting that the opposite direction of the turning door could just go in, but the fat one could not pass.

The front desk service was also very attentive and always greeted us with a smile, making us feel very cordial and warm. The hotel's facilities are also very complete, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the decoration is very exquisite, especially the lobby and guest rooms, which make people feel very comfortable and relaxed. The restaurant is also very good, the breakfast is rich, and there is a large parking lot that can accommodate hundreds of vehicles. The stay experience is very good!

6631000****The room was spacious and bright with a great view, and you could even see the ancient pagoda in the distance. On the first floor, there's free hanfu available for trying on, perfect for photo ops.
Before check-in, a staff member called to ask about our arrival time and reserved a parking space. They also assigned us a room close to the parking based on our estimated arrival. The hotel is conveniently located, with many attractions within a 3km radius. There's also free hanfu on the first floor for guests to try on and take pictures.
Upon arrival, a parking attendant specifically helped us find a parking spot. Later that night, returning from the spa near midnight, the front desk arranged for the parking attendant to guide us to our car, which we greatly appreciated. A big thank you to both the parking attendant and the kind front desk lady on duty.
Our room was very new and fully smart-enabled. We could control the curtains, lights, and TV with the 'Xiaodu' smart assistant. After connecting to the in-room Wi-Fi, we could scan a QR code on the TV screen to cast our devices, which was very convenient. The bedding was comfortable, and we woke up feeling refreshed.
I used my Trip.com points to redeem complimentary fruit and a late check-out, and the hotel smoothly arranged both for us.

I feel that the exhaust fan is not very useful. My husband turned on the exhaust fan and closed the door in the middle of the night, but I still woke up because of the stench...
The room is along the street, and the noise is very loud. Every car passing by will make a whistling sound, and it feels like it is driving by your ear.
At about 1 o'clock in the morning, the neighbor was chatting, and a woman kept laughing. I could hear what they were talking about. If you pay attention to privacy, don't live here.
The public hygiene is okay, but there is a water stain on the floor of the bathroom in the room. I don't know if the room is ventilated after cleaning.
For a price of less than 200, just make do!

GGuest UserMy stay at the Weilan Smart Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is fantastic, right at the west gate of Bohai University and close to Wanda, making it incredibly convenient for commuting. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bath towels were high-end, disposable. The service was impeccable, with the staff warm and attentive. From check-in to check-out, every step made me feel right at home. Overall, this stay was an unforgettable experience, and I'll definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserThe apartment itself is spotlessly clean and modern. However, I am traveling by bicycle, and the facility is on the fifth floor up a real cruddy flight of stairs. The lights don’t work on all the floors, so you need a flashlight when it’s dark. I don’t recommend this place for cyclists because lugging your gear up five flights is not much fun.
I would happily recommend this for anyone without too much luggage, and who speaks Chinese.
The owner is very responsive, However finding the apartment and connecting with him was a real challenge for me as I don’t speak Chinese.
