HhidinginplainsightWe had to scramble to Jinzhou due to medical emergency from overseas. We happened to book this hotel in a great hurry and it was truly the only thing that helped us preserve our sanity at a very fraught time.
It was also our first time using trip.com as I could not find much options in Jinzhou on ***********, my long time app of choice. I was worried about how things would turn out since I didn't know if I could trust trip.com or fully research my options as we had to rush to pack as well. As it turned out, I'm 100% sure that no other hotel in 4th tier Jinzhou city could have given us the experience, comfort and ambience that Manxin Hotel did. I don't say that lightly as a seasoned international traveller who's stayed at many types of hotels/guesthouses/motels over the years, it takes *a lot* to impress us enough to earn my praise and endorsement in a review.
Manxin Hotel felt like a small boutique hotel feel with 3 floors of rooms. It was only opened in Jan 2024, so it really feels nice and new with a high ceiling foyer /lounge area. The rooms are huge with huge floor to ceiling windows. Although it's next to a train station, the triple glazed windows amazingly cut out most of the noise. The beds were very comfortable, with great toiletries, great Laifun hairdryer and free drinks replenished daily. Even the tea bags they provided were of great quality. We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks so we were very happy to be able to use the complimentary washing machine service which saved me the hassle of having to hand wash my clothes daily in my room! There were some drainage issues in the shower but the hotel staff did try to sort out the problem. There's also a spacious gym available for those who are fitness fanatics. The hotel breakfast had great variety with quality coffee (not easy to find good coffee in China).
They even had a singer in the foyer 3 nights a week. Though I usually love listening to live music, the singers were students who were not quite able to deliver a performance befitting the old world charm and ambience of the hotel foyer.
Any hotel can have the best of facilities but often fall short on the service front. Since we were staying there for 2 weeks, we often had to deal with the hotel staff on a daily basis. We found them to be very competent, sincere, friendly, understanding and helpful for the most part, willing to do all that they could to assist us during our time of considerable distress and strain due to our family emergency. Even the housekeeping staff and the lady clearing plates in the breakfast area were warm and helpful!
As foreigners , we would sometimes need help with paperwork, scanning, photocopying, and other assistantance communicating with the outside world to make arrangements for international medical evacuation, WeChat/Alipay tutorials etc. We will always be grateful to the staff for all their efforts to assist in our time of need. In particular, we would like to thank Sales manager XY Yang and duty manager Hong for their tireless assistance and consideration.
If we were to go to Jinzhou again, Manxin hotel would absolutely be our only choice.

GGuest UserIt is a really good hotel with convenient transportation. It is close to the shopping mall and is very convenient. The facilities in the hotel are very new, especially the spiral staircase. The front desk service is warm. The room area is good and the lighting is good. The bedding in the room is very comfortable and the bed is also wide. The spare parts are all branded. The bathroom is spacious and separated into dry and wet areas, which is very convenient. The sound insulation effect of the room is also very good. The breakfast room is spacious and bright, and you can see green plants by the window, which is very nice. I was very happy to stay here this time. If any friends come to Jinzhou on business in the future, I will definitely recommend Jinzhou New World Hotel.

GGuest UserThe room was very clean and tidy, the floor heating was very good, the bedding was clean and comfortable, the service was very good, there was an underground parking space, we arrived late that day, the hotel's dedicated parking space was gone, the hotel asked me to park in other parking spaces, and I was reimbursed after checking out. The fare, the hotel location is good, very easy to find, I will stay here next time I come to Jinzhou!

KKnufbergstravelBeautiful and well mentained Hotel with unfortunately super thin-walled rooms.
The aircon did not run properly and shut itself off after some minutes but the staff worked on it and after a while it was all warm. The lining and towels were all super cigarette-smelly which we never experienced in that way... it was disgusting.
We have a mixed feeling, even with the laundry plus dryer and the english speaking guy at the front desk we probably would not stay again. They stored our bicycles in a storage room.

6631000****The room was spacious and bright with a great view, and you could even see the ancient pagoda in the distance. On the first floor, there's free hanfu available for trying on, perfect for photo ops.
Before check-in, a staff member called to ask about our arrival time and reserved a parking space. They also assigned us a room close to the parking based on our estimated arrival. The hotel is conveniently located, with many attractions within a 3km radius. There's also free hanfu on the first floor for guests to try on and take pictures.
Upon arrival, a parking attendant specifically helped us find a parking spot. Later that night, returning from the spa near midnight, the front desk arranged for the parking attendant to guide us to our car, which we greatly appreciated. A big thank you to both the parking attendant and the kind front desk lady on duty.
Our room was very new and fully smart-enabled. We could control the curtains, lights, and TV with the 'Xiaodu' smart assistant. After connecting to the in-room Wi-Fi, we could scan a QR code on the TV screen to cast our devices, which was very convenient. The bedding was comfortable, and we woke up feeling refreshed.
I used my Trip.com points to redeem complimentary fruit and a late check-out, and the hotel smoothly arranged both for us.

The bath water is a bit small, the air conditioner is a bit cold in the bed opposite the bed, but the price and location can already make up for this, and there is a laundry room on the first floor.

GGuest UserMy stay at the Weilan Smart Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is fantastic, right at the west gate of Bohai University and close to Wanda, making it incredibly convenient for commuting. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bath towels were high-end, disposable. The service was impeccable, with the staff warm and attentive. From check-in to check-out, every step made me feel right at home. Overall, this stay was an unforgettable experience, and I'll definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserFirst of all, let's talk about the facilities. Why do I give it 4 stars? It may be an old hotel. It should have been there for a long time, and the facilities inside are relatively old. Now everyone is talking about intelligence. The opposite is Hello Hotel. When we first went there, we stayed at Hello Hotel. All kinds of facilities are very intelligent, including a large-screen TV, and a smart toilet. The toilet lid is self-heating. This experience is very good. Then our Yuandu Hotel has a relatively small TV! Of course, it can also be seen from its current facilities. It should have been a very luxurious and high-end hotel! What is very willful is that its bathroom has an automatic sensor light, which automatically lights up when you get close!
There is no problem with hygiene, it is very clean. The room is wooden flooring, plus there is a small table, and there is a small chair in it. This chair is very comfortable.
How about the environment. Well, except that it is a little old, it is still very good overall!
Of course, I have to mention the service. I think the service is very good. The management of the entire waiter is very qualified. Then we also brought some seafood this time, because it is alive, and we were afraid that there would be no place to put it. The staff took the initiative to contact us and put it in their kitchen, which was very considerate. The location is even better, and there is a night market right outside. This hotel is really very good for this price. I will stay here again next time.

GGuest UserThe apartment itself is spotlessly clean and modern. However, I am traveling by bicycle, and the facility is on the fifth floor up a real cruddy flight of stairs. The lights don’t work on all the floors, so you need a flashlight when it’s dark. I don’t recommend this place for cyclists because lugging your gear up five flights is not much fun.
I would happily recommend this for anyone without too much luggage, and who speaks Chinese.
The owner is very responsive, However finding the apartment and connecting with him was a real challenge for me as I don’t speak Chinese.
