Guest UserMy stay at the Yala Snow Mountain Tibetan-style family room was fantastic! The 80-square-meter space was spacious and comfortable, with a wooden ceiling and warm-toned decor creating a cozy ******* atmosphere. The valley view was a highlight, with stunning scenery visible through the large windows. Special praise goes to the hotel's attention to detail: the welcome fruit was incredibly fresh, and the unforgettable ******* butter tea was rich and flavorful, showcasing authentic hospitality. Even though we arrived late, they provided a complimentary shuttle from the high-speed rail station and a traditional ******* khata (ceremonial scarf). The surrounding farmland and yaks were incredibly soothing. Milk wasn't available for breakfast on the first day, but it was provided on the second.
The hotel facilities were also excellent, and the bathtub in the room was perfect for relaxation. The wine cabinet in the public area was particularly impressive, with its elegant design and extensive selection of wines, reflecting the hotel's refined taste. Overall, the facilities, cleanliness, environment, and service were all satisfactory, making it a perfect stay. I highly recommend it to travelers seeking unique and high-quality accommodations! It's exactly as pictured in the promotional materials.

The best hotel we stayed in the Huanglong Jiuzhaigou area. Husband and wife run place. They designed the hotel themselves and just opened in July 2025. Very thoughtfully designed hotel. Staff are helpful and willing to share their advice and local knowledge. They provide free car to and from the Huanglong Scenic Area cable car. Its a small hotel about ~10 rooms and I attach pictures of the rooms as they are. No edits. Rooms are clean and new with modern facilities like projectors and in room routers. Room has a nice skylight windows providing bright cheery lighting. You can sleep looking at the stars in heated comfort. Beds and pillows are fluffy and soft, a rarity in this region! Family room has a tepee for small kids to sleep in! Some rooms have bathtub for soaking after a 8km walk through the scenic area! Floor heating!! Keeps the room warm and walk around barefoot in the room. Tip: open the skylight and sleep comfortably as the floor heating keeps the room warm without the need to turn on the heater. Bathroom is modern with rainshower and a bidet spray. They provide soft fluffy towels as well, not the cheap disposable paper towel. The lobby doubles as a restaurant. Nice tent tables. We love the home cooked food as the kitchen is staffed by family. They also have a coffee machine, another rarity for this region. Most restaurants do not serve coffee. We loved our stay here. Husband and wife, and their family members helping at the hotel make us feel like family guests instead of hotel guest. We are English speaking foreigner with a smattering of Chinese. There are many hotel options nearby, but this is a fantastic place to stay and beyond value for money. Quickly book as they have limited rooms.

TxiaocaomeiThe rooms were all great, and the front desk staff was very welcoming! The room amenities were excellent, and the bed was really comfortable. There are lots of restaurants nearby, which was very convenient. Parking was also easy for those driving.
The altitude is a bit high, so be mindful of altitude sickness! Without air conditioning, the ventilation wasn't great, and it felt a bit stuffy, but opening the window helped. Also, we had parked our car, and the security guard asked us to move it, even though other cars were parked there too... and only asked us to move ours...

The location is easy to find and is close to Huanglong, suitable for self-driving. The room is clean, although a bit small. The boss is very good at service. I felt a little short of oxygen at night, and they sent up oxygen as soon as I called. Although there is a charge, at least it can be used in an emergency.

The room wasn't big and didn't have air conditioning, but it had underfloor heating and an electric blanket, so it wasn't cold while sleeping. The reception was on the second floor, accessible by elevator to the guest rooms. The second floor also served as a tea and relaxation area. A river ran in front of the hotel, separated by a road; parking was convenient. However, on a December morning, we found our car windows covered in ice. The owner kindly poured a basin of hot water on them, and the ice melted instantly. The town is small, and there are many small restaurants near the hotel.

This guesthouse was excellent! The owner was incredibly welcoming and warm. As soon as I called from the Huanglong Scenic Area, they immediately drove over to pick me up. The guesthouse environment is lovely inside, and I slept very comfortably. The next morning, even though breakfast hours were over, the proprietress still made me congee, eggs, and some side dishes – the shredded potatoes were especially delicious! After eating, she personally drove me back to the Huanglong Scenic Area. It was a very satisfying experience and offered incredible value for money. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip. I just forgot to take pictures!

The room view was fantastic! 👍 The panorama was expansive, and in the morning, when I drew the curtains, sunlight streamed over the mountains opposite. Although the hotel's location is a bit out of the way, it's definitely worth staying. A lovely lady picked me up from the train station, and the front desk staff were also very welcoming. Even without a car, there's no need to worry about transportation; the hotel arranges drivers for pick-ups and drop-offs. It's also very convenient for getting to Huanglong.

Guest UserTop notch hospitality and care from the front desk staffs before we even checked into the hotel. Our luggages were taken from our cab into the hotel before check in. We were then welcomed with hot tea beverages to help relieve my mum’s high altitude sickness. Checking in was a breeze as the front desk anticipated our arrival. The hotel and room has a traditional chinese design which gives a vibe of staying in an ancient chinese town. The bed has warmers that help keeps warm. Water heater works well and basic amenities are adequate. We also received welcome gifts of traditional ******* tea leaves and fragrant incense which are local specialities of the area, from the hotel staff. They also helped to arrange a special soup hotpot dinner where the lovely restaurant staff came to the hotel to lead us to the restaurant. The meal was excellent and value for money. As my mum was not feeling so well due to altitude sickness, we asked if there’s any health massage in the city. The hotel staff helped us make reservation for a ******* health massage and even offered to drive us there! The massage was good and reasonably priced. The hotel is located inside the Songpan Ancient Town. The night lights in the town is perfect for photography. All the attractions in Songpan is within close vicinity. Bus station is also just nearby around 3 minutes drive away. Since we had to catch the high speed railway at Zhenjiangguan, the hotel staff even sent us to the shuttle bus station and get us settled there with our luggage etc. They advised us to get the shuttle bus as it is free to the railway station and also advice on the time to get ready. These kinds of hospitality makes one feel like they are at a relative’s home. Highly recommended.

I checked into this hotel at about the same time two years ago. My friend booked it for me and I had a good impression of it. This time I booked it on Ctrip. The breakfast was OK, with soy milk and milk tea. There weren't many varieties, but it was filling. I wasn't in a rush, so I staggered my meal time with the group tourists. It was OK. There were not enough toothbrushes in the room, so I called the front desk and asked them to go downstairs and get them. After I went downstairs, the lady in charge of the room was very apologetic and said that if I needed anything, I could just call and didn't have to come down to get it myself. She said the front desk was new and didn't know. In addition, the towels were a bit old. Parking was very convenient.

Guest User(Excellent)
1.The hostess is very friendly.
2. I bought her dinner on the first floor and it was very delicious.
3. It takes about 14 minutes to walk from the high-speed rail station. It is very close.
4. The room was clean and I was glad to see the mountains outside the window.
5. The blanket was cozy and the hot water came out well.
6. It was nice to have a cultural experience here. (Disappointing)
1. The windows are not double windows and they are not insulated well. We had to keep the heating on when the electricity came on.
3. There are many places under construction around the building, so the power supply is unstable. Please warm up your bed and charge your phone when the electricity comes in.
4. If you are a non-smoker, ask for a second-floor room when you check-in. The third-floor room has a sore throat due to the continuous smoke coming up from the second-floor cigarette.
5. There was a restaurant near the hotel that said ”Breakfast” and when I went there at 7:30 the door was locked. I looked around all around the hotel, but none of the restaurants were open. Prepare food such as snacks and fruits in advance for breakfast.
6. I think this is for Chinese people only. Foreign lodging registration is not automatic. Please visit the police station next to you at the high-speed rail station and take care of it yourself.
(Other)
1. The map app confirms that buses run between the ancient fortress wall and the high-speed rail station, but when I asked the locals, they said they don't operate it. I paid 20 yuan for a taxi from the bus stop to my accommodation. I took a taxi from here three times, but no taxi was priced for mileage. You should bargain well.
2. There is a convenience store in the waiting room of the high-speed rail station that sells instant food, the air is warm, and you can charge your phone. If you have nowhere to go, you can spend time here. (We also had breakfast here and charged our phones for four hours.)
