"It's about a 30-minute drive from Huanglong Scenic Area and quite close to the high-speed rail station. Parking spaces are a bit limited, but there's a dedicated attendant, so it's still manageable. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, making dining very convenient. The decor clearly shows its age, but the hygiene is good. We only planned to stay for one night, so we booked the cheapest special single room. Two people could fit, but this room was in a corner, and the elevator doesn't go directly to it. We had to go down half a floor and then climb up half a floor. Our legs were already aching from hiking Huanglong, so if we had known, we would have booked a slightly more expensive room. Also, we were in a hurry the next morning and wanted to take some breakfast with us instead of eating at the hotel, but that request was denied."

"The 56-room hotel is conveniently located near the East Gate of the ancient city. The surroundings are lovely, and it was perfect for an evening stroll around the old town after dinner. The hotel staff were very patient and even arranged a complimentary transfer to Songpan Station. We were able to explore Huanglong worry-free, knowing we had a comfortable place to stay in the ancient city afterwards, making our trip very relaxing and enjoyable. I highly recommend checking out Luzi Niu Yak Hot Pot and the grilled yak skewers in the ancient city – they're just one yuan each and definitely worth trying!"

"We visited Jiuzhaigou and stopped by Songpan Ancient Town. We couldn't find a ticket to return at a convenient time, so we stayed here for two nights. Since we were traveling with my family, we booked a family suite, which was very clean. We took a bus to Songpan the evening of our Jiuzhaigou trip. The host was very friendly and met us directly at the high-speed rail station. That evening, he even recommended a delicious yak beef hotpot restaurant—no rip-offs! It was truly delicious and filling! The room was spacious, with three beds and two TVs, and all the amenities were quite new. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient. We walked to the ancient town in about 10 to 20 minutes at a fast pace, or about 5 minutes by taxi. It's really close! And don't worry—you can order takeout and have it delivered to the hotel. There's also plenty of delicious food in the ancient town. On the morning of our third day, the host drove us to the high-speed rail station again. He also warned us about possible traffic restrictions and gave us a rough guide to our departure time. Highly recommended!"

The owner was incredibly welcoming. Even before we arrived, while we were still on the high-speed train, his car was already waiting for us at the station. He even helped us with our luggage. The environment is also very good, clean, and everything is disposable, which makes you feel very safe using them. The room even has a full skylight, which is awesome! The location is super convenient too, with a whole street of food stalls right outside, so you don't have to walk far to find something to eat. In the middle of the night, my child had severe altitude sickness, but thankfully, there's a pharmacy right next to the guesthouse.

Great place, fantastic view overlooking Songpan valley. Owner is very friendly and helpful, arranged trip to huanglong for us. We were worried about transportation, but it is easy. We arrived by bus, and the owner picked us up from the bus station. But actually his place is well-known, and you can get a taxi anytime both ways for 30 yuan. It takes less than 10mn. Room is very comfortable, with all the needed amenities. I would come back for sure

I had an incredible stay at this beautiful homestay! It is a quick 15-20 minute drive from both the Songpan High Speed Railway Station and Songpan Ancient City. Tucked away in a quiet valley far from the city noise, the property offers stunning mountain views. The host was incredibly warm and helpful. He picked me up and dropped me off at the high-speed railway station, which made the logistics completely hassle-free. The room was massive, extremely clean, and outfitted with very high-quality modern furnishings. My favorite part of the room was the large glass windows that perfectly framed the spectacular mountain scenery. Waking up to that view was truly special! I absolutely loved the two massive common sitting areas—they have huge windows with uninterrupted panoramic views of the valley and are the perfect places to relax. I would definitely stay here again!

The location overlooks nice hills and river which was great. However it is still a walk to the town and a bit dusty on the roads as there is a lot of construction too. Service wise the team running the hotel were super friendly. It was unfortunate that the toilet flooded, floors were dusty and didn't feel very clean especially with young kids around. Definitely room for improvement. I was looking forward to rest but it was also quite noisy in the evening till after 10. However when informed that it was noisy, they were prompt to ask the other guests to lower their volume. Noise wise you can hear people going up the stairs and chatting outside. Breakfast was simple and had yummy tomatoes and porridge.

This is a very good hotel in Huanglong, with a huge parking lot and charging facilities. The hotel room is large and has a large balcony, but it is too cold here in winter. The hotel only has floor heating. Fearing that we would be cold, they placed an electric heater in the room in advance and turned it to the highest setting. It was quite warm. We had originally planned to stay here for two days, but we didn't expect to finish exploring Huanglong in winter in such a short time. It was a bit lonely staying here on New Year's Eve, as if we were the only family there. I decided to check out and go to Dujiangyan, after all, it is in the city. I thought I couldn't get a refund for a two-day stay, but after negotiation with the hotel, I got a refund for half a day's room rate. This is really humane. I will stay here again next time if I have the chance.

Pretty good, very clean. The front desk staff were really nice. Breakfast was decent too, the steamed buns were delicious, but the milk and milk tea tasted like instant powder, which was just okay. From the room window, you could see the rapeseed flowers and the observation deck.

Very comfortable stay. Better than I expected. The store is too enthusiastic. The service is in place. The fatigue of the trip is reduced a lot. The surrounding environment is also very good. There are niche check-in points. It is also close to Chuanzhu Temple. The camp can be barbecued. There are also travel photography. The food is also the original local ecological ingredients. I checked into this hotel at about the same time two years ago. My friend booked it for me and I had a good impression of it. This time I booked it on Ctrip. The breakfast was OK, with soy milk and milk tea. There weren't many varieties, but it was filling. I wasn't in a rush, so I staggered my meal time with the group tourists. It was OK. There were not enough toothbrushes in the room, so I called the front desk and asked them to go downstairs and get them. After I went downstairs, the lady in charge of the room was very apologetic and said that if I needed anything, I could just call and didn't have to come down to get it myself. She said the front desk was new and didn't know. In addition, the towels were a bit old. Parking was very convenient.

This time, we chose a ******* guesthouse for our trip to Western Sichuan called Ruokengcang Guesthouse. The owner was very kind and helpful, even taking us horseback riding to the nearby mountains to see the beautiful scenery. He also dressed us in local ethnic costumes and took photos for us. We drank authentic yak butter tea. They offer two types of guesthouses: one is a small wooden cabin on the first floor, and the other is a tent in their courtyard. We chose the tent, which was quite interesting. Overall, it was a great experience. For those planning a trip to this area, definitely check this place out – it's great value for money!
