Amazing
LLishangfengAs a first-time visitor to Nagasaki, I can confirm that this hotel truly lives up to its excellent online reputation. I booked the smallest room; while the bathroom was compact, the bed was notably spacious, making it perfect for solo travelers. The hotel boasts an unbeatable location. Tram and bus stops are just a stone's throw away, and there's a Yoshinoya right downstairs. Across the street, an indoor shopping arcade means you're covered no matter the weather, ensuring all your dining, entertainment, and shopping needs are met with ease. Both the guest rooms and public areas are exceptionally clean, and the 3rd-floor lobby lounge offers a wonderfully relaxing ambiance. On the ground floor, the elevator entrance features an automatic hand sanitizer dispenser and fresh flower arrangements, adding a very welcoming touch. Breakfast was quite enjoyable, featuring two types of homemade toast as the main items, complemented by a wide selection of side dishes, salads, hot and cold platters, and drinks. It was really satisfying. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and polite; even without Chinese language skills, communication was never an issue. The hot spring bath on the 11th floor is definitely worth experiencing. Overall, this is an excellent hotel perfect for both business and leisure travelers.
WWherethefishroamThe location is a little off the city centre, but close to a tram stop. Parking is pricey - 2k per day, and the parking lot is a short walk away so drivers will need to park and unload the car at the carpark and walk up the street with baggage.
Apart from these, the hotel is lovely. The rooms are huge and well equipped with living area and kitchenette. The beds are very comfortable and the blankets have a good weight to them, it was hard to get up in the morning because it was such a good sleep.
GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located near Nagasaki station (about or less than ten minutes walking) and a five minute walk to the bus station that has buses that go to Fukuoka airport, Kumamoto, etc.
It's a standard Japanese business hotel that is basically clean, spacious enough, and the staff is efficient and will help with the self check-in kiosks. There are FREE luggage lockers in the lobby that guests can use prior to checking in at the hotel starting around 3 or 4 pm (I forgot the exact time).
GGuest UserMy absolute favorite place to visit!
The staff's genuine kindness is truly heartwarming.
Three distinct spas, each offering its own unique charm.
You can feel their sincere desire to go the extra mile for guests.
ZZhuxisongyuIt's quite clean, but there's nothing to eat around. It's a bit far from the train station and scenic spots, but not far from the port. The room window can be opened for ventilation, and it's good not facing the road.
AAnqier17This is a hotel that I like and my colleagues also recommend.
The room is super big. This is the largest room I have stayed in since I came to Kyushu. It is bigger than Fukuoka Haytt.
In the partition mode, there are two doors separating the outside and the room, which makes me feel safe and soundproof when traveling alone.
What I like most about their bathroom is that it has dry and wet separation, a wet shower and a jacuzzi, and there is also a TV to watch. The external washbasin is also very large, and a curly head is thoughtfully prepared for guests to use.
The most important thing is that the bed is comfortable and relieves me from the fatigue of traveling for a week.
The last two days of the trip were spent relaxing in Nagasaki.
come back next time
GGuest UserThe Nagasaki Shianbashi Richmond Hotel, a 3-star business hotel, underwent renovation in 2023 and boasts excellent overall quality. The hotel's strongest asset is its prime location – Shianbashi tram station is just a one-minute walk away, and JR Nagasaki Station is a quick 10-minute ride. The Hamamachi shopping district and Shinchi Chinatown are also within easy walking distance, making it incredibly convenient for shopping sprees or savoring local delicacies like Nagasaki Chawanmushi and sushi.
The guest rooms are equipped with practical amenities, including air conditioning, a refrigerator, and a flat-screen TV. A thoughtful touch is the option to request daily housekeeping service directly via the TV. The beds are comfortable, and some room types offer ample space, ensuring families don't feel cramped. The 24-hour front desk staff are communicative and provide warm service, promptly addressing guest inquiries such as parking directions and transportation advice for sightseeing.
In terms of hotel facilities, a laundry room, free WiFi, and self-check-in options are available, catering well to both business travelers and independent tourists. While some guests have noted the breakfast price of 2000 JPY to be a bit high, the extensive selection, including Nagasaki specialties, means its value for money can be subjective. It's worth noting that parking is available in a mechanical car park for a fee. While there are numerous restaurants on the ground floor beneath the hotel, especially at night, the soundproofing is decent and generally doesn't disturb sleep.
Overall, the hotel stands out for its convenient transportation, clean environment, and practical facilities. It's ideal for travelers prioritizing efficiency and value for money, comfortably meeting the basic needs of both business and leisure guests.
MMhom_jaoMy stay at the Coruscant Hotel Nagasaki was truly memorable. Here are some highlights:
• Stunning Architecture: The hotel building itself is a sight to behold, blending classic European design with modern amenities.
• Comfortable Rooms: The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a day of exploring.
• Convenient Location: Situated in the heart of Nagasaki, the hotel provides easy access to popular attractions and transportation.
• Excellent Service: The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile.
Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Coruscant Hotel Nagasaki for anyone visiting the area.
OOlga TarI really didn't expect anything from staying at this hotel, as it was twice as cheap as anything in the area. But it's really a hidden gem!
The location is perfect for exploring Nagasaki, in the heart of Chinatown, lots of eateries in the area, and a tram stop nearby. The entrance is between two buildings and not obvious at first glance, but Google maps will get you there.
The hotel has a retro vibe and doesn't look like a traditional business hotel, but does it need to? Big comfy beds, huge rooms (a lot more spacious than you expect to find in Japan), all the amenities you need inside. The description didn't mention a fridge, but we had one in our room. No view, but it didn't bother us.
Good breakfast for a reasonable price.
The only downside is that they don't have a coin laundry in the hotel, but there are some in the area.
In my opinion, it's more than value for money!
KKongjiekkkThis hotel is cost-effective and the location is okay. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the station. It is uphill to walk to the hotel. It is a bit tiring to push the big box. It is hygienic. Although it is a small hotel, it is very hygienic. The breakfast is okay and you can eat enough. , the waiter is very serious and the service is good. Worth recommending
