Amazing
SSoumiaÇa serait bien de mettre un panneau indiquant l’entrée de l’hôtel, car les chauffeurs mettent un temps fou  à trouver l’entrée piétonne de l’hôtel. Pour avoir été dans les 200 premiers clients de l’hôtel, je suis vraiment triste de voir comment les devenu, l’ascenseur, les traces de cheveux sur les murs, c’est juste incroyable les traces de demain également c’est dommage
GGuest UserMy sister and I went to visit my aunt that has dementia. We were very impressed with the cleanness and the excellent customer service. The kitchen lady was awesome and complimented us and the front desk person called and set me up on the awards program. It was a wonderful experience. Thank all of the workers at the best western in winter haven.
GGuest UserNice room (single King), beautiful historic building/grounds that has been meticulously maintained and great location in the heart of Downtown Lakeland. Didn’t have a microwave which was odd but otherwise a good stay and friendly service.
PPETERSMARSHALLJust came for the night to visit our son. A wonderful place to stay. Looking forward this will be the first place I look to book anywhere. Clean. rooms are very quite. There was a lot going on there so we expected noise. But slept well through the night. Lots of care taken for extras such as towels. Went down and asked for another blanket for at night for my wife so she wasn't cols. Gave me one sealed in a bag. Only complaint was the ice machine was on the third floor we were on the 1st. This is where the contental breakfast was so really didn't make sense that there was only one.
GGuest UserBEWARE this place is not what you see online. SEE PICS BELOW. It was gross almost didn't stay, we're exhausted. Thank God I bring my own stuff. The handle to the toilet broke off and they had someone come in the room at 8:00pm with 2 small children to almost 9:00 pm to fix it. I WAS CHARGED $10 FOR A WASH RAG THAT I DIDN'T USE. I BRING MY OWN FOR SANITARY REASONS. Imagine if this happens to every guest? Hmm I'll be getting in touch with Trip, HJ and Wyndham.
MMrsPiconeStaff members we interacted with were all awesome! Extremely helpful, understanding folks who were willing to work with us about a room upgrade snafu that was totally MY fault.
Check-in/out was beyond simple. Rooms were very clean, with the exception of one tiny 'baby' roach found dead under the A/C unit of our first room, but at least that says pest control is done. Better to be seen dead than alive😌
My one complaint is probably the Wi-Fi. It's free for the 1st device (at light browsing speeds), but if you need anything speedier, expect to pay for it. We had a total of 4 devices and ended up coming out of pocket for the unlimited package to accommodate simultaneous HD streaming and mobile gaming. At one point, had to call Wi-Fi tech support and they answered at 1:30a local time, fixed the issue, and even made good on the courtesy follow-up call. Well done!
Didn't get around to using the laundry facilities, so can't speak to that amenity, but we were so impressed with our stay, we'll definitely be returning.
GGuest UserThe breakfast is average, and the chain operation is cost-effective, mainly because the price is relatively cheap, the bed is clean and comfortable, and the breakfast can be quite full. The bed is so comfortable
GGuest User The room was clean good room neighbors were noisy and that really would did it. What did it was a check out time when I booked it it says checkout time before 12 but in reality, the checkout is before 11. And the housekeeper  I’ll try to come in our room around 10:20 AM  there was no controls for the TV that we had in our room and then when we got the newer controls, there was no cable that experience
GGuest UserThe Front Desk there is awful. They are very rude. You asked for their name. They will not tell you you asked to talk to management and they won't let you talk to management. They said they don't have no number for management and they won't even give me their real name. They said they don't have to, and I paid the dog fee every day my dog got some dirt on her feet and got on the bed and there was like paw prints on it but when they came to change the bed lines, they kept my deposit because they said they have to send those out to get them cleaned. It was just dirt. I could've got it out but they made a big deal about it and they kept my deposit of $150 because of that
