It was already past 7pm when we arrived at the hotel. After we put our luggage away, we wanted to go to Nanyueli. The boss was very enthusiastic and drove us there with his family. It was difficult to get a taxi to Nanyueli, and it was also difficult to park when we drove there. Although we only stayed for one night, I felt it was really good. The mattress was soft, and the toilet was smart, not mopped. I really recommend it~

The location of the B&B is very close to the temple, just a five-minute walk. Because the room was fully booked that day, the family of three could only book a double room. The extra bed was too hard and too small, not suitable for a family of three adults. The room is clean and hygienic, with a hot spring bath. A small suggestion is that the water in the hot spring bath may not be hot enough in winter, and the water flow is a bit small. It is recommended that it can be optimized later. The food at the B&B is very delicious, all of which are authentic local home-cooked dishes. The vegetables are grown by the owner’s grandmother and are very sweet. There are also very detailed instructions for burning incense, so even beginners can follow the instructions and pray with confidence.

The B&B was only opened last year. The owner and his family are super cute. It takes about 10 minutes from Hengshan West to the B&B, and less than 10 minutes from the B&B to the scenic area. Environment: Because it is newly opened, the environment is very good, there is a small courtyard at the door😁Looking forward to the boss and his wife developing more fun games😍 Hygiene: Very clean, especially the bathroom, mysophobes really love it Service: Round trip transfers to the high-speed rail station and the scenic spot are all-inclusive. The service is really nice! There is also coffee made by the boss lady in the lobby☕️

This hotel is a few km away from Nanyue area where the popular Nanyue Temple 南岳大庙 is located. However, public bus ¥6/way is available in front of the hotel. Bus ride is about 30-45min. After Temple visit, exit through the back gate and start the hiking to Hengshan. Recommend to take a mini bus ¥40/way（中巴）up to Nantian Gate 南天门, from there hike to the peak and walk down on foot. Total steps 37k. There is a KFC next to hotel. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. In general, quite a reasonable stay.

It's possible to hike to the summit in two hours. If you're not feeling energetic, you can take the scenic shuttle bus to Nantianmen and then hike to the top. If you have more time, consider staying overnight at Shangfeng Temple on the summit to witness the magnificent sunrise the next morning. Choosing a well-received mountainside guesthouse on Mount Heng not only allows for convenient access to various attractions but also lets you immerse yourself in the peace and beauty of mountain life, truly realizing the travel philosophy of ”gathering in the mountains, clouds, and Zen.”

Excellent location. Despite no smoking, people smoke and throw cigarette butts. But that's not hotel's fault. Excellent service. Very good value for money. Cleaners are helpful and serve you with flexibility. Front desk help at all hours. Very good.
