The hotel was carefully built by a mother and daughter who rented a century-old house. The service is warm, and the pick-up and guidance and WeChat contacts are replied promptly. The environment is first-class. Even if you don’t go out, you can sit or walk around the hotel for a whole day. The carved wooden doors and windows, tea tables, chairs, calligraphy and paintings, all kinds of flowers in the back garden, green plants in flower pots in the patio, unique bougainvillea on both sides of the entrance, the lounge, and the coffee shop all show the taste and intentions of the mother and daughter!
Listening to the mother (Sister Ge) calmly and enthusiastically telling us about the hardships and achievements of building the Imperial Edict House in the past 13 years, she said that if you think too much, you can't do it, just do it if you like it, and learn while doing it. She said that people can't be too idle and need to keep themselves busy to be in good condition... We like it very much and are educated...
Sister Ge is a refined person with a good taste for life. She said her daughter has mysophobia and she is a perfectionist, so she can go around Guangdong and Jiangsu to find chairs for the room. She has a lot of gardening tools and she trims all the green plants by herself. The well-growing green plants fully reflect Sister Ge's positive and optimistic attitude towards life. She is full of infinite love for life and is very contagious. We are all deeply impressed by her and would like to come here to stay for a while to appreciate and listen!

SShuimitao717Huangyao is a place I have always wanted to go. Although it is several years late, I finally have time to go there. Deyun Villa has a grand name, simple decoration, good service attitude of the boss, large room, and a small balcony that I like. It's a pity that the weather is too cold, otherwise it would be a pleasure to sit and drink a cup of tea. The best thing is that the location is excellent, very close to the entrance of the ancient town, and the famous Dailong Bridge is at the turn. There are many attractions and snacks nearby. It is worth recommending

Sanitation: Very clean! We also upgraded to a room with a view. In the morning, we can see the beautiful scenery when we open the window. It's great!
Service: The boss is very good! We also gave them their specialty rice noodles and the fruit they picked, Wogan. I will definitely recommend it to my friends, especially sitting on the roof of his house to drink tea and enjoy the view. It is simply a paradise on earth.

CCheetahmamiA superb experience staying at this hotel. We extended our stay after the first day, and would definitely come back again.
Location wise, if you are visiting the old town, then it is definitely the perfect spot to stay! The scenic bridge is just a corner away. It is also just 1 min walk from one of the entrances/gates of the old town(景區).
What I like the most is the whole design of the hotel. It is a perfect combination of ancient and modern architecture and design. The whole place is very stylish and there are a lot of fine details like the plants and artwork arrangement. I love the tea table right at the main door, it’s made by stone and wood.
There are a lot of common area in which you can either chat and enjoy tea with friends or simply read alone with a nice coffee.
They have a nice rooftop with a good view of the old town. You can enjoy sunset here.
Food is perfect here. They have their own chef so you don’t need to eat out, the tofu and soup are very nice, and the seasonal veg is also our pick.
Most importantly it is a pets friendly place. They have 2 dogs named 向右 “Xiang you” and 將軍 “General”, they are friendly and cute. They also have a cat room accommodating over 10 cats. All are friendly and lovely.
Perfect place for vacation. We look forward to our next time here at 龙麟台❤️

GGuest UserIt's quite good that a B&B that has been open for several years can be maintained so well. The entrance to the scenic area is right on the roadside and the location is great. There are hospitals, pharmacies, restaurants, etc. next door. There is also indoor parking. For tourists, staying outside is indeed more convenient than staying in the scenic area. The shops outside the scenic area are cheap and delicious.

Since we were going back to Nantian, the hotel owner Abu had already turned on the dehumidification in the three rooms we booked in advance. The most important thing was to provide disposable plastic slippers and toilet mats, so that I, who have a slight mysophobia, could really enjoy the stay. Experience what it means to feel at home! Speaking of service, the hotel will help with moving and introduce the scenic spots along the way, so that an unknown person followed us all the way to the hotel and asked for a business card. I will stay here again in the future because the service is so attentive. I saw the legendary three peacocks and a blue cat named Maharashtra, who was very dear to me. The Niu Ge breakfast shop next to the hotel is really delicious. Visitors who come to stay must try the fried silkworm glutinous rice and water chestnut noodles! Overall, this is a hotel with good service and warmth. I was in a hurry this time. I arrived at night and left the next morning. I did not fully explore the beauty of the ancient town. I will still stay here next time I come to Huangyao.
PS: The camellias in the hotel courtyard are blooming very brightly, and they even have a fragrance!

The other room is just a toilet and cannot be used for bathing. There are stairs everywhere in the room, so be careful if there are children staying. Overall it's clean and hygienic, and it's a good place to stay during the weekend. There is also a restaurant downstairs, and guests can get a 12% discount on dining. The taste is quite good and fits our Cantonese taste very well. There are many noodle shops on the streets outside and even in the ancient town, so breakfast is easy to solve and it is a suitable place to relax and unwind.

It's primarily valued for its value; three people stayed in a two-bedroom, two-living room, one-bathroom apartment. All rooms were equipped with air conditioning (heating and cooling), and were clean, though the decor and amenities were simple. The shower and toilet weren't separated into wet and dry areas, which resulted in a slightly unpleasant odor. The sink faucet only had cold water, which was too cold for washing faces and brushing teeth in winter, so we had to get water from the hot water heater. The mattress was quite firm; those who prefer soft mattresses should consider this. It's recommended that the owner disinfect the slippers regularly. The landlady was very friendly and attentive!
