"We stayed at Grand Mercure Malang Mirama for our honeymoon for 3 nights and 4 days, and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. My wife absolutely loved everything about this hotel, and so did I. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. We were welcomed by Wike from the front office, and she truly made our stay extra special. She was always smiling, respectful, kind, and very helpful throughout our stay. She even offered us free activities and vouchers, which was such a nice touch. The biggest surprise was that we got upgraded to the Executive Suite, the highest room category in the hotel. Huge thanks to Wike for making our honeymoon unforgettable! The room itself was unbelievable. Beautiful views, a huge living room, separate bedroom, and an amazing bathroom with a bathtub overlooking the view. Everything felt luxurious and very comfortable. Since it was our honeymoon, the room was also beautifully decorated and we were welcomed with a fruit basket, which made us feel really special. Breakfast was another highlight. The variety was insane so many options that we honestly didn’t know what to choose. Everything we tried was delicious. One thing that really stood out was the staff. I’ve traveled quite a lot, but the service here felt different. Every single staff member we met smiled, greeted us warmly, checked if everything was okay, and helped immediately whenever needed. You can really feel the genuine hospitality here. We also received a complimentary photoshoot from the hotel, which was such a lovely experience. The photographer was great, and we even got a printed photo in a frame to take home as a memory. The only disappointing part during our stay was the Teppanyaki experience at the Japanese restaurant. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations at all. The chef only cooked in front of us without any interaction or entertainment, and when I tried making conversation, she seemed annoyed. Considering how expensive it was, it honestly felt very underwhelming. I personally wouldn’t recommend the Teppanyaki experience there. Other than that, everything was truly amazing. Even though I don’t remember everyone’s names, thank you to every single staff member who made our honeymoon so memorable. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back again. "Our stay was pleasant in this colonial property. Howsoever, our room was on the ground floor with window that facing the internal corridor and the room entrance right facing the staircase. It was a low season during our stay, so the noise from human traffics was very much manageable. The one thing that disturbed me most was a choice of music from the 2nd floor cafe/pub- they run the music from 6am - midnight. Will i stay here again? Probably not. At that price Malang can offer you a lot more. That said, i didnt regret my choice for The Shalimar hotel."

"Staying at Ubud Cottage Malang was truly delightful. The ambiance genuinely made me feel like I was in Bali. The room and bathroom were incredibly comfortable and spacious, even though it wasn't an expensive room type. I would absolutely recommend it to all my friends!"

"The room boy team are excellent. The front office/reception desk officers are the most team that needs to improve. Even though, all teams area above average in general. The breakfast service also another that needs improvement because breakfast time is until 10am, however at 9am most of the menu are empty and the worst is all become cold foods"

"Ijen Suites Resort and Convention is a great hotel that left a very positive impression from start to finish. The property is very clean and well maintained throughout. Breakfast was a highlight with mostly local food on offer which was a really nice touch and made the experience feel authentic and welcoming. The staff truly stood out with their warm and genuine hospitality making every interaction pleasant. The surrounding area is also lovely and perfect for a relaxing walk in the morning or afternoon with nice cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself comes with great amenities including a gym sauna swimming pool and cafe ensuring there is always something to enjoy during your stay. Overall nothing negative to mention at all. "During my stay, I found the hotel's location to be very convenient, as it is close to malls, markets, and many dining options. However, there were a few disappointing aspects. The bathroom had an unpleasant odor, the room cleanliness could be improved, and surprisingly, there was no iron available for guests. This is the first time I have experienced something like this at a hotel."

"Our stay at Tugu Malang was beyond expectation. The food is refined and abundant, the room was lovely decorated, the people are so kind and there is so much antique that can be discovered when walking around the hotel. The choice for Christmas music played bij gamelan instruments wa firsts intrresting but over time became a little annoying. This was just minor, the whole experience was great."
