Scenic Hotels in Phi Phi Islands

"This is a really great hotel! The bungalows are nestled in the jungle, some with sea views and some without, due to the abundance of trees in front of them. There's a wonderful little beach right in front of the restaurant, complete with comfy beanbag loungers. Plenty of shade too. Breakfast is served with a sea view, just 10 meters from the water. The canopy bed is incredibly soft, and they provide pajamas for two guests. The shower even has air conditioning, which isn't always a given! While the bungalows aren't brand new, they are incredibly cozy. There's a hammock outside, and handmade wooden tables and chairs. Important note: the property is quite large. It took us about 7-10 minutes to walk to the beach and restaurant via steps and paths. This might not be suitable for people with small children or mobility issues. In the evenings, lizards scurry across the roof and outer walls; they can be quite loud and rustle around. Although they don't get inside, they live between the wooden boards of the house and terrace, and the sounds can be quite startling to some."

"This is our 3rd time at the resort in recent years and it remains in our opinion the best higher end resort on the island.   It’s tucked away right in the corner of the main beach which means there is no passing traffic and a lot less day trippers about.   The rooms are lovely bamboo bungalow with en suite shower and although not very big there is plenty of space for what you need.  The beds are large and comfortable and the air con works well.   The whole setting is beautiful with the bungalows along sandy paths and surrounded by gardens and trees.   The resort has an amazing huge pool and more than enough sun loungers.  Breakfast is superb with lots of choice and it’s very fresh.  The bakery section in particular is excellent.  The only negative - and this is not at all the fault of the resort - is the noise at night from the parties at the other end of the beach.  Despite being a really long way away the noise travels across the bay / beach and it goes on until about 3:30am.   They provide you with ear plugs but we always take our own better ones with us which are more sound resistant.  Soundbloc putty earbuds if anyone is interested!  With these in you hear nothing and the resort is absolutely perfect.   We will be back i am sure"

"I hate to leave negative reviews, but unfortunately I have to in this case. The hotel is in a great location right on the beach, and if you don’t encounter the problem I did, it would be a wonderful place to stay. My room had an issue every morning where hundreds of black flies would appear. I’m not sure where they came from, but as soon as I woke up and turned on a light, they would start arriving inside the room and swarming around the light fitting. I bought a can of Baygon spray, treated the room, then went out for an hour before coming back to clean everything up myself. Once the sunshine outside became brighter than the light inside, the flies would disappear. They only came in the early morning. Perhaps it was only this particular room in the main block that had the problem, and I was simply unlucky to be assigned it."

"It's a cute place, very simple. Staff was helpful, and we checked in quickly. They let us check in a bit early, as soon as the room was ready which was nice. Not much going on in terms of the room itself. Nice bed, average bathroom, but the outside small patio area for each room is a nice touch. *Picture is not from the hotel"

"A nice hotel that’s really close to the beach at the back of the place. Unfortunately we didn’t have good experiences with the food or the service. For example at breakfast they served shrimp fried rice with the poop sack still attached and a lot of flies were around the fruit in the mornings. Also the day before we were due to leave I had one of the house keeping staff drop an iron off at my room. Without hearing an answer came into my room and opened the bathroom door where I was showering. I had music on at the time so I’ve no idea happened and I asked her to leave immediately. I went to the door a minute later to get the iron and she also left a set of keys with me- no idea why or why yay they were for but she appeared 2 hours later asking for them so I hope they weren’t for the surrounding rooms! The view from the pool at the back and the fruit shakes were really good but I wouldn’t stay here again"

"My wife and I booked Phi Phi the beach resort for four days but wished we had booked it for much longer it was the perfect vacation spot we didn’t want to leave, we tried to extend our stay but unfortunately they were fully booked and couldn’t accommodate us, everything was perfect, the view from our cabin was amazing, breakfast was great and dinner was delicious , the beach was lovely and the ocean was crystal clear, the reception was very pleasant and helpful and the waiters and waitresses were friendly and courteous. We highly recommend this resort and differently will be visiting again, thanks for an amazing experience Phi Phi the beach resort."

"Deluxe Room: Quite basic, a bit dated, and there was a lot of mold in the bathroom. BUT! Good soundproofing, a new air conditioner, a quiet location, and the pool is large and clean with spacious grounds. There's even a horse you can feed! Excellent value for money. 👍"

"We stayed in a Deluxe Sea View Room for 2 nights. The location is excellent — very close to the pier, which makes arrival and departure very easy. Our room (105) was also close to the elevators, so it felt even closer to the pier than many of the other rooms. The room was very clean, and the size was decent. The balcony view overlooks Tonsai Beach, which is always nice to wake up to. Because the hotel is so close to the pier, you can hear and see people down there during the day. However, once the balcony door is closed most of the noise disappears, and we had no problem falling asleep. Facilities were all working well: • Elevator was great • Air conditioning worked properly • Wi-Fi was fine • Shower was good We didn’t use the TV. The staff were friendly and all spoke English, which made things easy. They do ask for a deposit at check-in, but that seems to be standard practice. There is breakfast available through the restaurant downstairs. Personally I didn’t enjoy it much, but if you’ve been traveling around Thailand for a while it will probably be fine. Overall, this is a very convenient and comfortable place to stay on Phi Phi, especially if you want to be right next to the pier."

"I stayed here during my trip to Koh Phi Phi, and first off, the location is unbeatable! It's super convenient to get anywhere, and even though the facilities are a bit old, they were clean. Any issues I had were quickly addressed, and they provided all the services you'd expect, like cleaning and luggage storage. Given that accommodations on Koh Phi Phi are generally a bit older, I went in with that expectation and was very satisfied overall! I'd love to stay here again on my next trip. Had a great stay!"

"We had a truly wonderful stay at Chaokoh Phi Phi Hotel & Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our visit. The hotel is perfectly located on the island—just a short walk from the pier and surrounded by great restaurants, which made exploring Phi Phi both easy and enjoyable. Our room offered a beautiful garden view, and being near the pool added to the relaxing atmosphere.
