Great
GGuest UserThe facility was great and it was beautiful and it did offer a number of amenities but I will be honest the service wasn’t the greatest. I felt as if as a paying customer I was constantly being treated like I was a burden for asking for things like “extending my say” I don’t want to generalize and say it was all the workers there was a man named “Chan” who had a very passive aggressive attitude with me and other people there. I understand that it’s a 5 star resort and it is on the pricier side but it constantly felt like they were also trying to capitalize on the necessities you’ll need because it is on an isolated island. (Word of advice go to the local village for things like pharmacy needs, cosmetic and booking boats and excursions it’s 10 times cheaper.) At the resort they will do things like charge nearly 30$ for a bottle of sunscreen at the gift shop because they know you’ll need it. Going back to this I tried to extend my stay with them and Chan told me I was going to have to pay double the original price if I wanted to stay another night I quickly went online and saw that it was half the price that he quoted and just immediately felt quite put off and like he was doing whatever possible to milk us financially when we are already being generous and willing customers. I was in a group of four people and everyone in my group had stomach issues after eating at the breakfast buffet so that was a problem as well. We were also not told that on the resort is a mosque and you will be woken up to the call of prayer frequently. I have no problem with people exercising there religious traditions I would just like a forewarning about being woken at 5AM to hear the it.
GGuest UserI stayed here during my trip to Koh Phi Phi, and first off, the location is unbeatable! It's super convenient to get anywhere, and even though the facilities are a bit old, they were clean. Any issues I had were quickly addressed, and they provided all the services you'd expect, like cleaning and luggage storage. Given that accommodations on Koh Phi Phi are generally a bit older, I went in with that expectation and was very satisfied overall! I'd love to stay here again on my next trip. Had a great stay!

GGuest UserWe had a small familiy reunion, and stayed at The Cove for 4 nights. We enjoyed it. The beach is lovely and right there. You can swim and snorkel any time of the day.
The cabins are cute and have a small kettle and fridge.
They have good food which is not too expensive and their service is alright, they changed our room with no issues and fixed things when we had issues.
They have boat trips which we enjoyed that leave from the resort. There is a hike from the resort to the main pier and has amazing views, but it is toughz
Overall we all had a wonderful stay and would recommend it for a relaxing getaway with no rush.
GGuest UserA lovely hotel on a beautiful and very quiet part of Phi Phi. If you are looking for somewhere to totally unwind, a romantic holiday or somewhere quiet for the family then this is for you!
It's away from the main nightlife of Phi Phi and there are no taxis only taxi boats. I don't think they would go at night.
There was some very quiet and gentle musical entertainment most nights.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is located in the northern part of Koh Phi Phi, which isn't connected to the south. I didn't realize this when I booked. The south has markets, 7-Eleven, bars, shops, and more, while here there are only two small shops and the hotel's own bar. Dining options in the north are sparse and very expensive, with meals starting at 1000 baht. There's practically no nightlife here, just two resorts.
The hotel is quite old, and it's almost always fully booked with foreign guests. Transportation within the hotel is very inconvenient. We stayed on a hillside, and the hotel's shuttle service was pretty much non-existent; several times we waited over 10 minutes with no sign of it. We ended up walking to breakfast and the lobby every time.
There were a lot of mosquitoes in the lobby at night. We couldn't book a massage here either and had to go to the neighboring hotel, where prices ranged from 600-1000 baht. The hotel does have a snorkeling area, but I recommend buying water shoes as it's quite shallow and easy to get scrapes.
The upsides are that it's quiet and the views are nice. Breakfast was also delicious. We rented a longtail boat from the hotel for 1800 baht, which took us to four spots over 4 hours. It was a lot of fun. Our last stop was Tonsai Pier, where we spent about an hour and a half. That was an unexpected joy because we finally got to eat different food. The popular mango dessert shop recommended on Xiaohongshu was really good.

GGuest UserThe only change since my last visit 8 years ago is the improved Wi-Fi. However, the lack of air conditioning made our stay truly uncomfortable.
EEvgenii SlivetsThe location is nice with the great view from the reception, at least. We got a room with no view, though. They provide service when they can deliver baggage from the pier to the reception of the hotel (see the attached picture). You have to be prepared to climb stairs. There were around 150 stairs to our room. However, the view is worth it. Overall, the room is pretty big with all the necessary things. They also delivered our suitcases to the pier on the checkout date. Good place for the good price! We had a moonshine and asked for the room with a good view, however, they didn't provide us that type of room.

KKaren AnnGreat location
Our suite was lovely although our view was a bit obscured by trees but that couldn’t be helped
We were able to go on a couple of trips as the weather improved which was good
The crossing was a bit bumpy but at this time of the year it could of been much worse

AAnonymous UserIt's okay, close to the center, lots of greenery and cats on the grounds. Overall, it's a very cozy location. One downside: there wasn't any cleaning service for three days, which is okay, but the toilet paper tends to run out. There's also no mirror, only by the sink.
