Great
GGuest UserThe facility was great and it was beautiful and it did offer a number of amenities but I will be honest the service wasn’t the greatest. I felt as if as a paying customer I was constantly being treated like I was a burden for asking for things like “extending my say” I don’t want to generalize and say it was all the workers there was a man named “Chan” who had a very passive aggressive attitude with me and other people there. I understand that it’s a 5 star resort and it is on the pricier side but it constantly felt like they were also trying to capitalize on the necessities you’ll need because it is on an isolated island. (Word of advice go to the local village for things like pharmacy needs, cosmetic and booking boats and excursions it’s 10 times cheaper.) At the resort they will do things like charge nearly 30$ for a bottle of sunscreen at the gift shop because they know you’ll need it. Going back to this I tried to extend my stay with them and Chan told me I was going to have to pay double the original price if I wanted to stay another night I quickly went online and saw that it was half the price that he quoted and just immediately felt quite put off and like he was doing whatever possible to milk us financially when we are already being generous and willing customers. I was in a group of four people and everyone in my group had stomach issues after eating at the breakfast buffet so that was a problem as well. We were also not told that on the resort is a mosque and you will be woken up to the call of prayer frequently. I have no problem with people exercising there religious traditions I would just like a forewarning about being woken at 5AM to hear the it.

Great
Aaguayo_mariaThe hotel is beautiful, in front of the ocean, nice rooms (though small), nice restaurant, friendly staff, pool is great too. But acustics are an issue in the hotel, the beautiful bamboo huts are zero sound proof you can hear your neighborgs breathing, and that wouldn’t be so bad if the extra loud cheap trance music from the bars nearby didn’t come in feeling like it’s in your room and accounting for terrible sleep. this was specially worse for me as I had a room with pool/sea view at row 1 and sound just went in there, I asked to change rooms and they did and at row 5  i had a much better sleep. It’s sad because this is not the hotel’s fault but municipality should really do something about the bars, it really messes the entire Phi Phi paradise experience.

GGuest UserWe had a small familiy reunion, and stayed at The Cove for 4 nights. We enjoyed it. The beach is lovely and right there. You can swim and snorkel any time of the day. The cabins are cute and have a small kettle and fridge. They have good food which is not too expensive and their service is alright, they changed our room with no issues and fixed things when we had issues. They have boat trips which we enjoyed that leave from the resort. There is a hike from the resort to the main pier and has amazing views, but it is toughz Overall we all had a wonderful stay and would recommend it for a relaxing getaway with no rush.

GGuest UserA lovely hotel on a beautiful and very quiet part of Phi Phi. If you are looking for somewhere to totally unwind, a romantic holiday or somewhere quiet for the family then this is for you! It's away from the main nightlife of Phi Phi and there are no taxis only taxi boats. I don't think they would go at night. There was some very quiet and gentle musical entertainment most nights.

YYY301Near to Ton Sai Pier and they arranged pick up plus porter services to and from the pier, which is very thoughtful. Room is spacious and the view is overlooking the beach. Staff are very friendly and go the extra mile. Absolutely happy with my stay.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is located in the northern part of Koh Phi Phi, which isn't connected to the south. I didn't realize this when I booked. The south has markets, 7-Eleven, bars, shops, and more, while here there are only two small shops and the hotel's own bar. Dining options in the north are sparse and very expensive, with meals starting at 1000 baht. There's practically no nightlife here, just two resorts. The hotel is quite old, and it's almost always fully booked with foreign guests. Transportation within the hotel is very inconvenient. We stayed on a hillside, and the hotel's shuttle service was pretty much non-existent; several times we waited over 10 minutes with no sign of it. We ended up walking to breakfast and the lobby every time. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the lobby at night. We couldn't book a massage here either and had to go to the neighboring hotel, where prices ranged from 600-1000 baht. The hotel does have a snorkeling area, but I recommend buying water shoes as it's quite shallow and easy to get scrapes. The upsides are that it's quiet and the views are nice. Breakfast was also delicious. We rented a longtail boat from the hotel for 1800 baht, which took us to four spots over 4 hours. It was a lot of fun. Our last stop was Tonsai Pier, where we spent about an hour and a half. That was an unexpected joy because we finally got to eat different food. The popular mango dessert shop recommended on Xiaohongshu was really good.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel has mixed reviews . I stayed there at the end of August and I’d say it’s not too bad or that different from nearby hotels . The hotel is right by Long Beach beach , they have a small pool by the entrance. They have a restaurant and a bar just next door. The room was nice and big the only downside was the shower , it was old and rusty but quite clean . I think they just need to do a few renovations. It wasn’t loud pretty peaceful and the breakfast on the second day was nice too. The staff is very very nice and always ready to help you with anything. They sent a water taxi to bring me to the hotel from the pier and take me back after I checked out. They also helped me book my speedboat to Phuket. Honestly the only bad thing is that it’s a bit old. The bathroom needs serious help . No bad smells and only saw one single gecko the whole time I was there . I’d probably stay there again when I have a travel buddy .

KKaren AnnGreat location  Our suite was lovely although our view was a bit obscured by trees but that couldn’t be helped  We were able to go on a couple of trips as the weather improved which was good  The crossing was a bit bumpy but at this time of the year it could of been much worse

She even organised someone to pick us up and carry our bags from the pear and from hotel to pear at check-in and check out . She even keeps our bags in a place near to pear for us to pick up in the afternoon for our ferry trip. Staff is very friendly too.
