Guest UserOUTRIGGER Phi Phi Island Resort left me with the exact emotions that make me want to return to Thailand again and again.
From the very first moments, you feel the high level of service and an incredibly warm atmosphere. The staff here truly goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable and carefree. Genuine smiles, attention to detail, and care in every interaction – this is what creates a true sense of hospitality.
The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and harmonious: well-maintained grounds, stylish architecture, and an atmosphere of tranquility and seclusion. They've managed to preserve the feeling of a tropical island while adding modern comfort and aesthetics.
The restaurant deserves special mention. The service was superb – professional, attentive, and very pleasant. Every visit left nothing but positive impressions. The breakfasts were magnificent: a wide selection, fresh ingredients, excellent quality dishes, and very beautiful presentation.
I particularly remember a dessert the chef prepared right in front of me. It was tiramisu – incredibly delicate, perfectly balanced, and, without exaggeration, one of the best I've ever tasted. It was clear how much attention and love they put into even these small details.
It's the people who make this place special. The entire staff creates an atmosphere of calm, comfort, and genuine care, making the vacation feel truly exceptional.
Thank you to the entire team at OUTRIGGER Phi Phi Island Resort for a wonderful experience and an unforgettable atmosphere. This is a place I truly want to return to.

Guest UserThis hotel on Phi Phi Island was a fantastic stay overall. Each room is a standalone bungalow, and many have been recently renovated, giving them a fresh and stylish look that I really appreciated. With two beachfront pools, it truly feels like a perfect vacation getaway. I'd recommend staying for at least two nights, as getting here can be a bit of a journey – first a bus to the pier, then a speedboat for about 1.2 hours, which can be a bit of a hassle. So, definitely plan for a longer stay to make it worthwhile. The hotel is surrounded by a small village, making it convenient for dining and renting longtail boats. What's great is that it's not overly commercialized like Tonsai Pier; it has a wonderful secluded vibe, perfect for a relaxing holiday. I'd even say it's a great alternative to The Racha on Racha Island, which might be a bit pricier due to its closer proximity.

The hotel is located on top of a hill, so you need to take a shuttle bus to get up and down, which takes a few minutes. However, the shuttle only runs once an hour. Breakfast is quite basic; if you add it on separately, it costs 350 Thai Baht, or you can take the shuttle down to town to eat. For the ferry transfers, there are always staff to pick you up and drop you off at the pier, so there's no need to book in advance. I suggest increasing the frequency of the shuttle buses, ideally so they run on demand. The water park was partially open, and the slides were really fast.

Facilities: The garden villa room is spacious enough, with extra beds available in both the living room and bedroom, which was very convenient for our family of two adults and two children. The large balcony dried clothes quickly. However, the room was a bit old, the air conditioner was noisy, and the bathroom door creaked loudly every time it opened or closed.
Service: We requested a room close to the snorkeling area in our booking, and they gave us a spot right in the middle of it, which was great. Upon arrival, we received welcome juice and a detailed resort explanation presented kneeling, a very nice touch. Food was delivered to the room, and overall, the service attitude was excellent.
Environment: The resort has abundant vegetation and is quite expansive, making you feel like you're staying in a forest. However, there were a lot of mosquitoes; after lying by the pool for a short while, I ended up with seven bites on my back. Every morning around 5 or 6 am, you can hear monkeys, various large birds, and boats, making it difficult to sleep in.
Hygiene: The room was cleaned very well.
Aside from that: On our first day, we went out to a restaurant recommended by reviews, and our whole family ended up with food poisoning, spending two days recuperating at the hotel. Before leaving the island, I felt a bit disappointed and decided to check out the underwater situation. Luckily, I spotted Nemo! Nemo's location: From the restaurant, walk along the beach to the first beachfront room with a pool. Enter the water and look about 1 meter outside the right side of the floating buoy area, as circled in the picture. The anemone isn't very big, only about 20 centimeters, so you'll need to look carefully.

Great stay at Coco Bella hotel . The location is ideal if you enjoy nightlife and being close to the action, with plenty of restaurants, tours, massage places and activities within easy reach.
Breakfast was excellent with a good variety and quality. The pool area was also a highlight—very relaxing and well maintained. We stayed in a pool access room, which was fantastic and made the experience even better as we could step directly into the pool from our room.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay with great facilities and a lively, convenient location.

medusa_csThe hotel was good. We lived on A7 room, bear by the lobby and the beach. There were not so many guests, most of people came here only for one day and leave the beach at the evening.
Breakfast was good, serving on a terrace.
Beach was... normal. Not so many people as at Phuket. There are enough deckchairs, but some of them are ”permanently occupied”. People leave their towels and never come back, staff make nothing to fix it.
We saw some monkey one day, they were looking for something to eat in the thashcan.
Hotel is good for it's money, but not much things to do around. To do something interesting you have to ride to Tonsai on a boat-taxi for 100-150 bat.

Very clean environment, pick & drop luggage service from Ferry Pier.
The best location to stay with a private beach, who wants to go away from the party.
Highly recommend for couples and family no need for any deposits at check-in.

I honestly don’t understand the number of negative reviews this hotel gets. Our experience was completely different, we had a fantastic stay. The staff was genuinely kind and welcoming, which made everything even better.
Yes, the property shows some signs of wear, but that’s normal for beachfront places unless you’re paying for high-end luxury. Considering the price, especially for rooms with a sea view, it actually feels like great value.
The view from our room was incredible, the ocean with some greenery in between, peaceful and beautiful at any time of day. The air conditioning worked perfectly (which is essential in Phi Phi), and everything in the room functioned as it should.
One thing to keep in mind is that reaching some rooms involves a fair amount of walking, sometimes under direct sun. This can be tiring, especially for people who are not in good physical condition or who are sensitive to heat. It may not be the best option for everyone in that regard.
This is not a luxury resort, but it’s a solid, comfortable beachfront hotel that delivers more than fair value for what you pay. Overall, I’d say it’s one of the best options in Phi Phi in its price range, and far more enjoyable than many of the crowded, stuffy places in the center.
We had a great time and would definitely stay again.

The best hotel in Thailand. We suffered for the first 3 night in another hotel on Phi Phi and we couldn’t sleep coz of the loud noises from the beach parties but then we moved to U Rip and it was th best decision ever - clean, new, SILENCE, nice pool and great area far from the parties. But still accessible coz it is like 15 min walk. Totally recommend especially if you are a light sleeper 👌

This hotel stay was very nice. The pool view is stunning
The hotel owner is very helpful and friendly. She even upgraded our room without extra cost .
She even organised someone to pick us up and carry our bags from the pear and from hotel to pear at check-in and check out . She even keeps our bags in a place near to pear for us to pick up in the afternoon for our ferry trip.
Staff is very friendly too.
We really enjoyed our two days stay and definitely recommend this hotel stay
Will come back again with my family
