"Everything went smoothly from booking to check-in. The staff were super friendly and patient. Knowing that my friend and I were on vacation, they proactively upgraded our room when there was availability. I heard you can even catch the sunrise from this room on a clear day! The room itself was clean and tidy, with a simple yet spacious design, and no strange odors. The soundproofing was decent, and the bedding was so comfortable I slept like a baby – very satisfied! The hotel also provided a local travel guide. The lady at the front desk recommended so many great food options: seasonal small net seafood, local specialty ginger soup noodles and ginger seafood cakes. For breakfast, I tried Qiaogao with bean powder, Shibingtong, and a seasonal green glutinous rice ball with a savory filling. Lots of sticky, delicious treats! For local snacks, I had ginger walnut egg pudding, Shanfenhu, Wufan Mazi. As for places to visit, they suggested Longmen Beach, Dongxia Beach, Xiaoruo Village, Shitang Old Street, and for hiking, Shuitonga'ao. In the end, we skipped the beach and went to the popular Longmen Lake instead, which was incredibly picturesque!"

"Just on the edge of the golden beach, very close to the ring platform, the location is very good, you can see the sea when you lie on the bed, because it is mainly for hiking and watching the sea, watching the sunrise and watching the sunset, there is not much time to stay in the hotel during the day, and sitting on the balcony at night to watch the sea and listen to the songs of the bar in the distance is very comfortable. Close the window and sleep is still quiet. Special thanks to the small battery car provided by the landlord’s aunt. Otherwise, it is difficult to get to Lushan to watch the sunset within half an hour in Shitang, which is limited on holidays and congested during peak periods. This is the first time I have seen the sunset in the small fishing port. It’s beautiful."

"You can see the sea from your room. Fishing boats are moored in the harbor outside the window, waiting for their next voyage. Sitting by the window, you can watch the seagulls soaring and the vast ocean. The breakfast includes a local specialty from Wenling called ”Qiangao” (嵌糕). The guesthouse owner orders fresh ones for us every day. We had a very pleasant two-day stay. Watching the fishing boats at work every morning and listening to the owner's explanations was very educational. From the terrace, you can see the colorful Xiaoruo Village. (Because we booked two different rooms, I just copied and pasted the same parts, haha, but it really is beautiful!)"

"The location is excellent, right at the entrance of the Qilin Mountain Tunnel, conveniently located for visiting the East China Sea Great Wall and Qicai Xiaoruo Village, just across the road from Liruo Village. We stayed in an odd-numbered room with a morning view of fishing boats shimmering on the sea under the sun. The midday light and nighttime views of Qicai Xiaoruo were less impressive than the lively intangible cultural heritage activities in Liruo Village. At A Liu Noodle Shop in Liruo Village, the only truly delicious dish was the seafood noodles; the other stir-fries were just average. Perhaps because there were only two of us, it was busy and there was a queue during mealtimes. Xincai Island is probably the best spot for watching the sunset, so tourists and locals alike like to eat there. It's probably one of the larger restaurants, but the food was just average. The seafood was fresh, so we weren't too concerned about the taste, as long as it was fresh. Actually, I would recommend taking a taxi to Xinlongji Seafood Restaurant in Songmen Town. Perhaps because it's closer to the seafood wholesale market, Xinlongji doesn't stock up on seafood, ensuring freshness and delicious cooking. It's definitely worth a try. These shrimp balls are very chewy, and even without flour, they're 10 yuan cheaper than in Shitang Town. And this is the price during the Spring Festival; they're probably even cheaper at other times."
