Hotels in Akureyri with sea view​

"We had an enjoyable 1 night stay in the newly renovated boutique wing, which we requested for. The hotel was in the midst of transformation so we expected hiccups but there were none. Our room was compact but newly furnished with a very comfy bed and stylish amenities like a large Samsung TV, coffee machine, Marshall speakers and L'Occitane toiletries. We were hoping for a city/fjord view instead of the hill fortifications out back. Still, we enjoyed the new hotel facade, plush lobby cocktail lounge vibes and ease of free parking out front. Breakfast requires one to walk out to the next building annex but the hall had roomy seating and plenty of options for a nice Scandi breakfast. The airport is a 5-min drive away, the city centre and waterfront all 5 minutes away on foot. A nicely updated base for Akureykri and North Iceland."

"This stay was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all expectations! The room was spotlessly clean, the bed in the bedroom was incredibly comfortable, and the overall layout was simple yet cozy. The sofa doubled as a fold-out bed, and the kitchen, fridge, and other amenities were all included, making it a perfect stay for travelers visiting Iceland. As locals living in Iceland, we had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it to everyone! It's definitely the most comfortable apartment-style hotel in Akureyri, within walking distance of many must-visit spots nearby. A perfect stay!
