The place was really good. They cleaned every day in our room. The breakfast was so delicious and we could experience traditional Chinese cuisine. Thank you so much for this pleasant experience. The only problem was in the shower (the showerhead didn’t work properly but it wasn’t a big deal)

Traveling with a child, the front desk thoughtfully prepared kids' toiletries and small toys. The room fridge also had complimentary snacks and drinks, which made my child super happy! The rooms all have large, bright, and dry floor-to-ceiling windows. Downstairs, there's a McDonald's and a Chinese fast food restaurant, making dining convenient, and the surrounding area is quiet and peaceful! Highly recommend!

I came to Pudong for a short business trip, originally just hoping to find a clean room with convenient transportation. However, I was deeply impressed by the warm and professional service from Chilly at the front desk, and ended up having a much better stay than expected. I arrived at the hotel during evening rush hour, after a long, traffic-filled journey, feeling physically and mentally exhausted as I dragged my luggage into the lobby. As soon as I approached the front desk, Chilly immediately stood up, smiled, and greeted me. There were no robotic, routine questions; her tone was gentle and soothing, and she quickly helped me complete the check-in verification. She was efficient and skilled, finishing all the procedures in just a few minutes. She even proactively asked about my itinerary for the next few days and thoughtfully offered travel advice. I asked a series of questions: key transfer points for Guanglan Road Metro Station, suitable restaurants for a quick business lunch near the park, breakfast hours, gym and pool opening rules, the location of EV charging stations in the underground parking garage, and the shuttle bus schedule to and from Disneyland. Faced with this barrage of questions, Chilly remained patient and calm, explaining everything clearly and logically. She even offered extra tips, like how busy the park entrances and exits can get during morning rush hour, and recommended more time-saving spots for calling a taxi. These detailed suggestions were incredibly practical. During my stay, I wasn't familiar with how to adjust the air conditioning in my room, so I called the front desk for assistance. Their response was very quick, and a technician was arranged to come up and troubleshoot right away. They followed up throughout the process, ensuring that every issue was addressed. Her service struck the perfect balance – enthusiastic but not forced, without excessive politeness. It felt natural and comfortable, alleviating the fatigue and loneliness of a business trip away from home. The hotel's hardware quality is also excellent. The lobby is simple yet elegant, and the public areas are clean and bright, with greenery and art installations complementing each other perfectly. Housekeeping and maintenance are timely and thorough. The guest rooms are spacious with excellent lighting and ventilation. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and you can choose between soft and firm pillows. Even facing the street, the soundproofing is exceptional; I could barely hear any traffic noise at night, ensuring a high-quality rest. The room is fully equipped with stable high-speed Wi-Fi, all appliances work smoothly, the bathroom has separate wet and dry areas, and there's plenty of 24-hour hot water. The toiletries are of good quality. Housekeeping tidies up and replenishes supplies daily, keeping the room fresh and odor-free. The hotel's location is a major advantage. It's close to Guanglan Road Metro Station, with a wide selection of shops, supermarkets, and restaurants nearby, making it convenient for both daily business meetings and short leisure trips. The comprehensive amenities and clean, comfortable rooms already fully met my business travel needs, but Chilly's meticulous and thoughtful service was truly the biggest highlight of this stay. The service at many hotels can feel formulaic, but she was able to anticipate my needs from a guest's perspective and handle all the small details perfectly, demonstrating excellent professionalism. Anyone who travels frequently understands that business trips can be tedious and tiring. A thoughtful reminder or a smooth, efficient check-in can soothe the frustrations of travel. The Grand Mercure Shanghai Pudong Century Park offers both solid hardware and warm service, all at an outstanding value. The next time I'm working in Zhangjiang, I will still prioritize staying here. I sincerely hope the hotel will commend Chilly at the front desk; such genuine, professional, and dedicated service deserves recognition. Everything else was fine. This was my second stay. The first time, I booked through the United Airlines Hotels website, and the room was cleaner and on a higher floor, which I was satisfied with. This time, I booked through Trip.com; the price was cheaper, but I was on the 10th floor in a single room. Nothing else changed, but there were mosquitoes at night, which meant I couldn't sleep well. I couldn't find any mosquito repellent either, which was really unbearable. I hope this can be improved for my next stay.

Plus: It was conveniently located, so getting groceries was very convenient. The receptionist doesn't speak English but was very helpful when I needed to access their WiFi. The room, though small, was clean, the bed was soft, and the bathroom was super clean. I slept well. Minus: Next door neighbours were noisy both in the hallway and their room. I didn't see any room phone, so when I had to go downstairs when I needed something. Ol Overall, I'd recommend it

This is my go-to hotel whenever I'm on a business trip to Shanghai. The value for money in the Zhangjiang area is truly unbeatable. The cleanliness is top-notch, and service is quick to respond, meeting all the basic needs for a business traveler. The only minor drawback is that the room space is a bit small; it can feel a little cramped if you have a lot of luggage. However, it's perfectly adequate for a solo traveler or short business stays. Overall, it's a hotel with high value for money for Shanghai business trips, just a bit on the small side regarding room size.

To get early access to Disney with my sister, I decided to stay overnight in Shanghai to avoid an early morning commute. I had initially booked a hotel, but then stumbled upon this hostel, which looked really appealing. Since I'd never experienced a hostel before, I canceled the hotel and booked this instead. I showered at home beforehand and arrived around 11 PM, leaving at 6 AM the next day. When I entered my room, three people had already checked in and were in the lower bunks, so I had to take the top bunk. Climbing up was a bit difficult for me, and since it was late and dark, I was a little scared of falling. There's a light strip with a switch and an outlet by the bed, which is very convenient. You have to make your own bed with sheets, pillowcases, and duvet covers. I didn't want to disturb anyone, so I just wrapped myself in the duvet cover and went to sleep. The air conditioning was very warm, so I didn't need a blanket. Someone was snoring, but it wasn't too loud. I had brought earplugs and an eye mask but didn't even use them and still fell asleep. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic. They answered my questions quickly via WeChat before I arrived. Because I was going to Disney, I was dressed in a Lolita style, and my speaking voice is rather sweet, so the front desk staff even asked if I was an adult, haha! The first floor really feels like a charming cafe. Overall, I had a great experience. I never imagined I could spend a night for just a few dozen yuan – it was practically pocket change compared to a taxi fare. The value for money is incredible! If I go to Disney again, I would definitely consider staying here. It really opened up a whole new world for me.

The room was spacious and bright, with a separate wet and dry area, and great air circulation. There's a full-length mirror by the door, which is super convenient for business trips! The location is very quiet, with a stream and villa area right outside the window, so I got excellent rest. I'll definitely choose Atour again in the future.

The room was great, the comforter wasn't stiff, and the service was excellent. It's very close to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and about 2km from the subway station.
