"My actual stay experience: The soundproofing was quite effective, the bustling street outside didn't disturb the quiet inside the room, which is great for light sleepers. For my trip to Nanao Island, I didn't hesitate to choose this beachfront guesthouse, and it totally exceeded my expectations! 🌊
The location of this guesthouse is absolutely incredible – a true first-line sea view. Open the window and you're greeted with the vast, blue ocean, a completely unobstructed 180° view that is so therapeutic. The room was clean and tidy, with a minimalist yet stylish decor. The bedding was so comfortable I didn't want to get up, and when you opened the French window, the refreshing sea breeze carried the scent of sea salt right in.
In the morning, I could watch the sunrise over the sea right from my bed, with the golden-red sunlight spreading across the water – incredibly romantic. In the evening, I enjoyed the sunset from the balcony, watching the clouds turn orange and pink, making every photo a masterpiece. At night, I drifted off to sleep listening to the sound of the waves, and all my fatigue melted away.
The owner was super enthusiastic and attentive. They not only sent a guide to the island in advance but also recommended local seafood stalls and lesser-known attractions. Any questions I had were answered instantly; they were as thoughtful as a friend.
The location is also very convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and there are plenty of dining and drinking options nearby. Next time I come to Nanao, I will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants an immersive sea-view experience!

AAnonymous UserThe room, as almost always, has a slight smell of cigarettes and stale smoke. The curtains smell of smoke, and the sheets have an unpleasant odor even though they appear clean. The bathroom had...The toilet seat had drops of dried yellow urine underneath. The room floor wasn't perfectly clean. The breakfast was adequate, although something was completely missing some Sweet or pastry.
Overall I wouldn't avoid it but I would hope for more attention.

GGuest UserI have to give this hotel, especially its service, a glowing review. I unexpectedly twisted my ankle and, on a whim, asked the front desk if they had an ice pack. To my surprise, they did, and even gave me two! Then, after getting a traffic violation while driving a rental car, I wanted to resolve it before leaving Shantou. I asked the front desk if the nearest traffic police station could handle it. They immediately suggested the Shantou Municipal Administrative Service Center, which wasn't far from the hotel, explaining that it could process violations and had longer operating hours. Following their directions, I was able to handle everything in one go. So, the front desk service definitely deserves a big thumbs up! 👍
The hotel has its own spacious parking lot with plenty of spots available.
Even though the hotel has been open for a while and shows some age, all the facilities in the rooms are perfectly functional. Items and drinking water were replenished promptly every day, and the cleaning was very thorough. The service standards haven't declined just because the hotel is older; in fact, the hotel is gradually upgrading and renovating its rooms.
The hotel is just across the street from Wanjia City and about a 10-minute walk from Longyan South Road. There are multiple bus routes nearby, making it very convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. Right downstairs, there's an airport shuttle service that takes an hour directly to Jieyang Airport, costing 28 RMB per person, with tickets available on demand and departures on schedule.
