Great
AAnonymous UserThe lobby is incredibly luxurious and impressive, but the rooms are just average in comparison. However, the service is truly exceptional. We had to check out early before breakfast, and when we mentioned it, they kindly prepared a packed breakfast for us. We were so touched! I would definitely love to stay here again.
GGuest UserThe location is excellent – Malioboro is nearby, and the train station is nearby (which was a selection criterion). The palace is a little further away, but not far, about a 15-20-minute walk. There's a cozy cafe on the top floor.
But the room itself is frankly so-so; the cleanliness isn't perfect, and most importantly, the shower and toilet with sink are separate, in different rooms, which is extremely inconvenient.
SSangeetNagrehA fab hotel in the city. Walking distance to the main shopping area Malioboro St. And walking distance to the Palace and Tamansari water Palace.
The hotel has excellent service and the restaurant serves authentic Indonesian food. The breakfast is wide spead.
There is a nice pool and garden to walk around. I highly recommand this hotel. Very good price.
GGuest UserThe restaurant is very good, the Chef is excellent and th personnel are really friendly and helpful. However, maintenance is avarage. I had to move two times from my original rooms: problems with shower, leaking, bathroom not sufficently clean. Then air con problems in the second room. The bathrooms need renovation too. Besides, it is very strange how they only offer you shower towels. It is not higienic to use them for cleaning face especially if you use sun protection or any face skin treatment. I had to ask for face towels, and these were not changed duting my five nights stay. It is really a pity because the employees are very good, polite byt management and necessary investments are not done. I do not recommend if your stay is longer.
AAnonymous UserThe hostel is located at a good location but some of the amenities can be improved for example blanket in the dorms. Also the hostel charges extra to keep bags after check out if you are hanging out. But overall it is a nice budget hostel.
GGuest UserThe location is two blocks from the train station, but there are railway tracks nearby. I wasn't sure if it was possible to walk through them; I ended up taking a long detour. Even if it were possible, I imagine there would be a wait.
The shower water temperature was consistent, and the water pressure was ample, making for a very comfortable shower. The toilet paper quality needs improvement; it was too thin.
The window was comfortable to sleep in.
The receptionist was very helpful.
The restaurant is open from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM (or maybe 10:30 PM), but we went down at 9:00 PM, which was a bit late. The food selection was limited, and while we saw many local food combinations, we struggled to figure out how to combine them. Explanations or demonstrations would have been helpful.
The room's WiFi started to fail on the second day; the connection was slow, and many pages wouldn't load completely on my phone.
I didn't dare wear the disposable slippers provided by the hotel; the soles didn't seem slippery.
FFaizMF22Had a pleasant stay at Ayaartta. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. And the room was clean, with housekeeping tidying up everyday without fail. As for the size, it was adequate, a normal sized room similar to other hotels.
I would say that all the staff (from the front desk, housekeeping, and the restaurant) were really courteous and helpful. It was service with a smile all day.
The hotel is situated on a very busy main street about 15 minutes walk from Malioboro Street. Getting around was very easy as Grab rides were readily available. I also noticed bus stops nearby which makes it convenient if you want to try the bus services.
Overall, it was more than worth the money paid. Dont expect too much though as this is not a luxury hotel.
IIir PrihatinawatiWell situated in the middle of town, walked to and back to malioboro. Just slightly outside the traffic area of malioboro and inside of the castle wall of Yogyakarta, but easier to get into the attraction in town. Were a trip to meet my old friends so its great point to meet in the middle of friends around yogya that resided at different places
they are very nice people too, the worker there.
200.000 were left on the desk by assuming the person who were there before me. they didn't check. it was still there last time I check.
GGuest UserThe resort is quite small, but the air quality is excellent. Rooms are clean, though the bathrooms were just average. Breakfast is served as a set meal and is quite basic. The farmhouse restaurant located at the foot of the mountain offers a wonderful setting. Borobudur is just 4km away. It's perfect for a relaxing getaway.
FFoodie Sisters on TourI recently stayed at favehotel Jogjakarta and found it to be a convenient choice, especially due to its location near Malioboro, making it easy to explore the city's main attractions.
The hotel offers a decent breakfast, though the selection is somewhat limited. Cleanliness is generally acceptable, and the rooms, while a bit small, are still comfortable for a short stay. However, the bathroom could use more thorough cleaning to eliminate any lingering odors—perhaps adding air fresheners or incense would help improve the experience.
Overall, it's a reasonable option for travelers looking for a budget-friendly stay in a strategic location.
