This hotel is different in a pleasant way in the centre of town walking distance to the falls restaurants etc. The railway is 200 ft away and is very noisy. We were amazed by some of the trains 24/7. The breakfast is at a place called Rosie’s and was very good (do have to walk there about 1000 ft) was very good as was the receptionist

I love the Ruby 2! Immaculately Clean, Modern, Downtown & Affordable! Walking distance to everything downtown! We will always stay here if it’s available! Free bike rental, continental breakfast & awesome staff!!!

What a great Little place to stay. Beautiful art work everywhere! Check-in was very easy, gal at front desk was wonderful and had a great personality. She gave us some ideas as to where to eat dinner. Rooms are fun and modern and rooms are very clean. The bed was very comfortable! There are train tracks right next-door that goes through and basically all you hear is the engines going past and the rest of the train is almost silent. We were on the second floor and it really was not bothersome at all. And I can be a light sleeper too! Continental breakfast was cereal’s, English muffins, hard-boiled eggs, fresh fruits,coffee, juice, and tea. Totally enough to give your belly a little something before you hit the road again.We will certainly tell others about Ruby2 and we will come back anytime that we need to be staying in Spokane for any reason. Great little place and price is totally reasonable!

this is a scrappy motel/hotel in downtown that offers tremendous value for the price. They even include a terrific breakfast at a near by coffee shop. Front desk is helpful and parking is handy.

Location was perfect for walking to falls and downtown area. Easy and fast checkin with friendly service. All rooms were accessed from outside. Parking was $5. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfy, but pillows were lumpy and not comfy. Free breakfast a block away at local diner was good, coffee was extra.

This is NOT. A hotel. It is a really bad motel. The dark colored carpet smelled like urine. The walls are paper thin. The motel is parallel to a train track where the trains run all night. My toilet clogged late at night. The person working had to search for a plunger. When one was found, the employee handed it to me and said, “Good Luck.” We never could get it unclogged and nobody did anything about it.

The Ruby 2 and I were just not a good match. I booked it on Priceline, which said the room was 651 square feet in size and had a coffeemaker. It was less than half the listed size, and no coffeemaker. Upon check-in, I was first advised parking would be an additional $5.00/night. Getting to my room, I found a piece of dental floss on the shower floor and 2 pieces of short, black hair on the wall by the toilet. The floors squeak, and I could hear "everything" going on in the room directly above. Also, this place is located less than 100 yards from the train tracks. I was awakened 4x by trains passing in the night. On a lighter note, the Wall Heater/AC unit was brand new. It worked magnificently and was whisper-quiet. Others seem to really like the Ruby 2, I just didn't.
