LLily in wonderlandWhat a find! I just spent a long weekend at color mix hostel and I absolutely loved it. Perfect location! Foodie places everywhere, near transportation. The room itself had just what a needed a clean space and bed to lay after sightseeing all day! I would definitely stay again.

GGuest UserIf you have ever stayed in a capsule hotel before, you know pretty much what to expect. The main drawer of this place is the location. Situated in the heart of Ximen, There are a lot of shops and places to eat that are within easy walking distance. The staff were very helpful upon checking are they created a very good first impression.
The capsules or pods or whatever you want to call them were average in terms of comfort. We stayed in a mixed dorm and the mattresses were very thin so none of us got the best nights sleep. Also the walls are very thin and anytime anybody moved or did anything throughout the night, the noise was very apparent.. however, we were aware of all of this upfront and it totally served its purpose in terms of giving us a place to lay our heads for a few hours before returning home the next day. There are little TVs and electrical outlets in your pod, and while there are USB outlets to charge your electrical devices, both of the ones in my pod did not work. Overall, I would stay here again but not if I was looking for something that offers a high level of comfort or luxury

GGuest UserThe location is very central, so it's easy to go pretty much everywhere.
The room itself is nice and the bed is very comfortable, however if you have large luggage there is little space to store it. The lockers are only big enough for a backpack or perhaps a small suitcase.
The bathrooms are nice and clean, however also not very spacious (at least the one for my room especially, the two for everyone in the hallway are a bit bigger).
There is also a large room in the basement with a refrigerator, washing machine & dryer, and a bunch of tables, seats and couches, which is very nice.

It’s a great space for solo travelers who want to rest or meet other travelers. There are kitchen utensils available for simple cooking, and a water filter is also provided.
The room is suitable for couples who mainly stay at the hotel at night while spending the daytime exploring Taipei. The staff are friendly, and the hotel is conveniently located near Taipei Underground Street and the Taoyuan Airport MRT.

GGuest UserThe room description was misleading. There's a window in the bathroom, but when you close the bathroom door, it's just like a windowless room. The showerhead was broken, and the room had a slight musty smell.
The location is great, very convenient for transportation and close to Ximending. It's okay for a short, temporary stay. I had planned to extend my stay, but the price didn't match the living conditions, so I decided to switch to the nearby Sanyuan Hotel, which offers excellent living conditions, service, and value.

GGuest UserThe location was extremely good cos it near the mrt, surrounding with good food. But the only problem is that it not soundproof, can hear people talking on the corridor, and my room air-con produce a foul smell, like someone with BO stay before me and I had to use the fragrance stick provide by the room to put on top of the air-con to reduce the stinks. I thought i was booking a hotel but it was not(it was my fault for not really checking out), had abit of trouble trying to get into the building cos it need code to access.

GGeiorgiestravelsI had a room with a shower though a shared toilet - not a problem as the toilets were always clean and close to my room. The room felt spacious as it had the sofa area under the platform bed. The bed was comfortable and had lights/power sockets up at the platform. Even though there was no kitchen there was fridge/freezer, microwave and hot/cold water dispenser that can be used. There are tables and chairs in the common area.
As advertised it is basement with no windows , did not feel claustrophobic to me.
Points to consider:
- need to bring own towels or hire one
- There are steps that roll out to climb on the platform bed, it was very stable though I would have felt more stable if there was something to hold on to with my right hand
- no way to turn off main light while in the platform do either have to climb up in dark or climb up , turn on bed light then climb down to turn off main light then back up again.
Location: convenient to get so as direct line from Songshan airport to Xiamen station. 10 min walk to hotel. I used NYU hospital stop for getting around as it was closer. The hotel is just a couple mins walk from peace park which is a lovely place to sit and relax.

AAnonymous UserThe location is absolutely fantastic! If I remember correctly, it's right next to Exit M8 of the MRT/HSR/TRA station. I'm a late riser, so when I rushed downstairs with only 15 minutes to spare, I still made it to the TRA platform with 3 minutes before departure. This spot is such a gem, I almost don't want to share it!🤣
Across the street is (what I think is) a police station, and there's a 7-Eleven downstairs, so safety and convenience are top-notch.
It's rare for a hostel to have these individual 'rooms,' offering great privacy, and you need a card to enter. The only downside is that since you're still in bunk-bed proximity to the next 'room,' you can hear movement, which made falling asleep a bit tricky, but it wasn't a big deal because everyone was genuinely very quiet.
There are quite a few bathrooms. The ones in the accommodation area are very smooth to use but limited, making them hard to snag. There are plenty upstairs, but the drains aren't as good; if you shower a little longer, it tends to flood a bit, which is slightly uncomfortable but tolerable.
I really liked the room; the mattress and pillow were quite comfortable. Plus, you can watch a small TV, but I wouldn't recommend it at night due to the average soundproofing.
The common area has space for eating, a fridge, and readily available hot water.

AAdaTThe location is very convenient. There is a convenience store downstairs. It is very close to Ximending. Opposite is Wannian Commercial Building. It takes only about 5 minutes to get to the pick-up station. The hotel service is also very good, and the sound insulation is also good. I will come to this hotel again next time.
