2-Star Hotels in Taipei

I got a bunk bed room for this trip, budget but good environment, and security. staff is friendly and nice they are always willing to help it’s nearby Zhongshan station and Taipei main station. The shared bathroom have soap and shampoo also dryer. They also provide the towel. Love it will be back for sure. 🩷🩷🩷🇹🇼🇹🇼

What a find! I just spent a long weekend at color mix hostel and I absolutely loved it. Perfect location! Foodie places everywhere, near transportation. The room itself had just what a needed a clean space and bed to lay after sightseeing all day! I would definitely stay again.

The toilets were not really the cleanest and it was such a small room that it was quiet uncomfortable aswell. The charging is only possible on the top bed with a long loading cable and you do have a light for your bed but you also have to put it in at that far off plug place so you cant use it because the light would disturb everyone. Also the beds are really noisy so each time anyone moves everyone hears it.

The hotel is nice and has a basement common area equipped with a projector, dining table, sofa, and many amenities for travelers to relax. It’s a great space for solo travelers who want to rest or meet other travelers. There are kitchen utensils available for simple cooking, and a water filter is also provided. The room is suitable for couples who mainly stay at the hotel at night while spending the daytime exploring Taipei. The staff are friendly, and the hotel is conveniently located near Taipei Underground Street and the Taoyuan Airport MRT.

2nd time staying here! Enjoy the location as it's very convienent for me to travel around~ Love that there is Starbucks & Yoshinoya nearby! About 10 mins walk to the metro station!

The location is superb just beside M8 exit of the Taipei Main Station and nearby a busy city center. The room is clean. I was billeted in a single room which was okay in size for its size. I was at first anxious if there would be airconditioning because it is summer now in Taipei. And amazingly, the room was airconditioned! The shower area was clean, the toilet was clean as well. Located at the 10th floor, I do not have any complaint.

Very nice room. Location is around 6-7 blocks from Ximen Walk and 1-2 short blocks from Papa Whale. Not within the busy Ximen street but the location is peaceful and quiet. Building and entrance is a typical budget-friendly style just like in Chungking in HK. It may look old but I got surprised inside the room, free oolong tea, bottled water, kettle, dryer, spacious room, comfy and huge bed with clean linen, study table and the comfort room is spacious and very clean with shampoo and body wash.

The hotel is perfectly located near the MTR station. There is no reception. It is a remote reception. There is no luggage storage area, so plan your visit accordingly. If you need luggage storage, there are lockers available at the MTR station. The rooms are small, but enough for resting. Soundproofing is very bad. You can hear everything, so don't moan too loudly when having fun, unless you like being heard. There is a 711 next door. Very convenient.

I was assigned to the last room 517, the bathroom not even have the hanger for cloth / bath tower. After the first night, my skin had the irritation for both left & right hands. Location just nearby the XiMenDing market.

The mattress was the softest mattress I’ve ever slept in it was super duper comfy! The room was nice even tho it was small, however, there was no air con in the room so you had no breeze at all unless you kept the door open, I had to use my portable fan to have a bit of breeze. Not the hostels fault but there were two guys next door to me and was soo loud I had to tell em to shut it twice! As there was no staff during the night I couldn’t even complain, also the check in is in a different building the actual building with the rooms is across the road, but not ideal to cross the road when it’s pissin it down and you got 2 cases and bags, the location was brilliant however super close to ximending, the women on reception seemed lovely
