GGuest UserI brought my parents to Macau for a trip, and choosing Grand Emperor Hotel exceeded my expectations. Upon entering our room, we were pleasantly surprised by a special anniversary setup for my parents. The spacious room was a welcome relief after the relatively small and cramped space we had in Hong Kong for two days. We booked a family room, and from the bay window, we could catch a glimpse of the sea and the fountain, which was lovely. Both check-in and check-out were seamless; they didn't require a deposit. When we checked out, we left our luggage until later in the evening, and the friendly bellboy was very accommodating. The facilities are a bit dated, but acceptable. There's a plug that works with Chinese appliances, and the room has a safe and a mini-fridge. They also provide complimentary bottled water, drinks, and fruit. Breakfast was plentiful, and the freshly cooked beef brisket noodles were delicious and generously portioned. The Grand Emperor has an excellent location; it's about a 10-minute walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's. Right outside the Yaohan department store next door, there's a shuttle bus to Taipa resorts, running about every 10 minutes. You can also get tickets at Grand Lisboa or Lisboa to take a shuttle to the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, which is very convenient. Grand Emperor also has its own shuttle bus, but you need to book in advance, and the last bus at 5:15 PM is a bit early. So, on that day, we took the Lisboa shuttle at around 8 PM to Portas do Cerco (the border gate). The journey took about 15-20 minutes, and the last Lisboa bus is at 9:30 PM. Wynn is a bit further and doesn't require a ticket; you just queue up on the roadside for their shuttle, with the last bus at 11:30 PM. The Portas do Cerco border crossing is open until 1 AM. Arriving from the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, we couldn't find the Grand Lisboa shuttle on the day of arrival, so we first took a free bus to the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, then transferred to the green Lisboa shuttle. After getting off, we could see the Grand Emperor Hotel in the distance. It was about a 10-minute walk with our luggage, and everything worked out perfectly. All in all, I'm very satisfied, and booking through Trip.com was also reliable. Highly recommended!

Regarding the 'buy-one-get-one-free' offer for the Grand Hyatt Macau's Grand Club Lounge buffet breakfast: We booked a room online that included two breakfasts. When we arrived at the hotel, we purchased an additional breakfast. The breakfast leans more towards Western cuisine and was delicious 😋. Both kids loved it. From the R-level restaurant where breakfast is served, you can see the sea from both sides. We took a lot of photos; it was stunning. I absolutely love this hotel restaurant! My kids and I really enjoy the hotel's decor and style. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Macau.

We were a family of three with a child under two years old. When I booked, I didn't specify that I needed a bed rail. However, during check-in, the front desk staff noticed my child and proactively offered a bed rail. After they arranged for an attendant, she not only brought the bed rail but also moved and combined the beds for us – truly fantastic! I will definitely stay here again!!
There was some construction outside, so I asked the front desk to arrange a higher floor, and the noise wasn't noticeable at all. The view from the window was also pleasant during our downtime.
There are plenty of dining options nearby. If you're looking for convenience and a relaxed stay, this place is perfect. However, if it's your first time in Macau and your main goal is shopping and visiting landmark attractions, it might be more suitable to stay near the Ruins of St. Paul's.

PPandagal21The Line friends themed room was spacious with great amenities. Bed was a little on the soft side but otherwise a lovely stay. Hotel employees were super friendly. We had a lovely quiet tea at the cafe. The matcha Swiss roll was delicious. There are plenty of great coffee shops downstairs where you can enjoy a chillaxing afternoon

GGuest UserThe hotel was incredibly accommodating, even upgrading my room during the busy winter holiday season. Having a washing machine in the room was a huge plus! They also included a complimentary breakfast, although the breakfast area itself was pretty standard. The room was clean and comfortable. Its location in the old district, right next to StarWorld, MGM, and Wynn, makes it super convenient for entertainment, shopping, and sightseeing. I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserI couldn’t have asked for a better place to escape the big city. The hygiene standard was excellent – everything felt very clean and well-maintained. Breakfast offered so many options, something for every taste. The swimming pool was a highlight: nice and deep, great for a proper swim. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The whole atmosphere was incredibly relaxed, making it the perfect choice if you truly want to unwind. Highly recommended!

The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the bed could be moved, which was convenient when traveling with two kids. The hotel offers shuttle buses to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge port and the airport, though the schedule is quite limited. Compared to the newer, larger hotels, this one offers great value for money and is definitely recommended.

It's super convenient for getting things done, there are lots of food options nearby, and it's easy to get to the border crossing. Plus, the hotel offers shuttle service. Hygiene: The lobby, rooms, and all other areas are very clean and odor-free. Environment: The hotel is right next to the airport terminal, offering incredibly convenient transportation options such as the Macau Light Rail, buses, and high-speed ferries to Hong Kong. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, making for a very quiet night's sleep. Service: Staff in the lobby, at the front desk, and in guest rooms are all polite and genuinely welcoming.

Ppeggy7758Our room was on a higher floor, so it was pretty quiet with minimal noise. Overall, the room was clean, though the facilities were a bit dated. The main drawback was the air conditioning at night; it was very loud and constantly rattling. Everything else was generally acceptable.
When calling a taxi from the front desk, there were often issues with the line being busy. If you urgently need a car, it's best to check if someone is getting out of a taxi at the entrance, or head over to the taxi stand at Galaxy, or use their dedicated ride service.
The location isn't right next to Galaxy, but it's still quite close. We were able to walk to Rua da Cunha (Taipa Village) in the evening and back from there without any trouble. The Grand Hyatt Residences are right next door, as is the Inn Hotel Yacht.
