Very Good
GGuest UserArrived at the hotel at 11 AM and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, helping us check in early and even upgrading us to a business room. The room wasn't huge, but the layout was very efficient, with distinct areas for the bathroom, sleeping, and a small living space. Everything was spotless and comfortable. The hotel's location is super convenient for transport. It's right next to the Sands Hotel, and just a short walk to catch a bus from Sands directly to The Venetian, The Londoner, and The Parisian. Lotus Square is right next to the hotel, and behind it is Macau Polytechnic University. If you want to visit the Ruins of St. Paul's, it's about a twenty-minute walk. Fisherman's Wharf is directly opposite the hotel, and there's a bus stop right on the side of the hotel, making getting around incredibly easy. For this price, given the location and the hotel's quality, I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Macau.
YYigexihuankuaileyouwandereneraTraveling with a friend after the May Day holiday, I booked two rooms – one with twin beds and one with a king bed. There was a connecting door between them. I called the front desk and asked them to open it, instantly turning them into a convenient suite for interacting, yet we could close the door for privacy when resting.
The hotel is surprisingly quiet despite being in a bustling area. The rooms are clean, and the beds are very comfortable. I booked without breakfast, opting instead to explore the streets and alleys for a unique Portuguese-style breakfast, which was a wonderful experience.
Upon returning to Gongbei Port, I booked a shuttle at the lobby for a specific time. The 8-seater car was very comfortable, much better than taking a random taxi to the port. The driver's service was excellent, a definite commendation!
GGuest UserThe hotel is beautiful and conveniently located, with clean public areas. The breakfast is more Western-style, so those who prefer Chinese stir-fries, fried rice, noodles, or steamed dim sum might find it less to their liking. We were fine with it and found enough to eat. As for service: housekeeping was decent, front desk service was secondary, and restaurant service was extremely average, with overly salty dishes for some reason. The room noise was a major issue – constant sounds of running water from pipes, air conditioning, and what sounded like furniture being dragged from upstairs or downstairs, which continued intermittently until late at night. The hairdryer quality didn't match the hotel's caliber, which was a poor experience. Overall, the service isn't as good as hotels in Taipa and definitely needs improvement, especially in guest-facing details, where there's a significant gap. This might be due to language barriers with the foreign staff.
GGuest UserThe hotel was incredibly accommodating, even upgrading my room during the busy winter holiday season. Having a washing machine in the room was a huge plus! They also included a complimentary breakfast, although the breakfast area itself was pretty standard. The room was clean and comfortable. Its location in the old district, right next to StarWorld, MGM, and Wynn, makes it super convenient for entertainment, shopping, and sightseeing. I'll definitely be back!
GGuest UserThis is my second stay this year. I booked a room in the newly renovated Block B, and the front desk staff were as friendly as ever, even granting me a one-hour late checkout. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the cleaning lady was warm and friendly. I also received a 20% discount at the hotel's attached restaurant. Plus, there's a shuttle bus right outside the hotel that goes directly to Guangzhou, which is incredibly convenient and fast.
SShengchengThe hotel's biggest draw is its location – situated on the southern coast of Coloane, it's a real hidden gem, completely removed from Macau's glitz, glamour, and noise. Every room also offers a fantastic sea view experience. Breakfast is mostly Western, but quite varied, and the omelets are especially delicious. The front desk is on the top floor, so you actually go down to your room, which gives it the charming feel of a small boutique hotel abroad. The only minor downside is that some of the facilities are a bit old and possibly a little worn out. A renovation would be a good idea if possible.
GGuest UserLocated on the Macau Peninsula, it's a short walk to bus stops, and there's a supermarket nearby where things are much cheaper than other stores. The location is excellent, close to Wynn Palace and other star-rated hotels, and getting around by car is super convenient. For families, the three beds were quite comfortable.
MMaggie Sun 9527Every time we renew our child's passport, we stay here. It's super convenient for getting things done, there are lots of food options nearby, and it's easy to get to the border crossing. Plus, the hotel offers shuttle service. Oh, and the egg tarts in the lobby are absolutely delicious!
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It's right across from the airport, which has its own shuttle service, and the monorail station is next door, making it super easy to get around and explore. We had a sea-view room, and it felt much less crowded and busy compared to the casino areas. If you do want to go to the casinos, the hotel staff are very helpful. Overall, it's excellent value for money!
AA LITTIE WATERFor my trip to Macau, Trip.com recommended the Holiday Inn. Upon arrival, I found the hotel conveniently located on Beijing Street. The front desk staff and lobby manager were all very attentive and welcoming, truly reflecting the high standard of service you'd expect in a tourist city. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, clean, and well-designed, and the room service is excellent. During my stay, I reported some noise from the surroundings, and it was addressed promptly. I was very satisfied with their quick response.
The hotel boasts an excellent location, with cultural landmarks such as the Lotus Square, Dr. Ho Yin Park, Macau Polytechnic University, and Beijing Tong Ren Tang all nearby, offering plenty of options for exploration.
