Excellent
GGuest UserFantastic! Exceeded expectations! My child loved it too, we'll definitely be back! The Republican-era decor is exquisite and elegant, with a unique charm. From the moment we arrived, the doormen, front desk staff, and even the ladies at the breakfast restaurant provided superb service! The location is unbeatable, convenient for getting everywhere, right next to Senado Square and the Ruins of St. Paul's. There's a huge Koi Kei Bakery downstairs, making souvenir shopping incredibly easy! There are also many well-known old eateries nearby. The room wasn't as small as some reviews suggested; my child and I found it to be a good size and very cozy. We also received a voucher for drinks at the rooftop bar, which is a must-visit! It's super photogenic! The night view 🌃 is absolutely stunning! The almond cookies and nuts in the mini-bar were delicious, and the pour-over coffee was quite good. They even included a complimentary bottle of red wine. It was clean, hygienic, and tastefully decorated, and the breakfast was very authentic! Great taste, color, and aroma! My child and I didn't want to leave 😊 We will definitely be back!
GGuest UserThe room is much larger than those in Hong Kong! Bottled mineral water is provided, and the disposable slippers are thick and incredibly comfortable. My elder daughter said this hotel was too luxurious! Indeed, this is Macau after all—luxurious and grand! The cable car, fountains, and various shows are not only free but also spectacular! My kids watched the fountain show three times in a row and still couldn't get enough. It's so much more fun than Hong Kong!
GGuest UserHere's a very objective review:
**Cons:**
1. **Inconvenient Location:** Getting around isn't easy. The hotel only offers shuttles to Wynn Palace and the Hengqin Port. For anything else, you have to walk about ten minutes to Grand Lisboa Palace, which is not ideal if you have luggage.
2. **Mediocre Environment:** The building itself looks quite basic and is a far cry from the Grand Lisboa Palace (with a 400 price difference).
3. **Cold Pool:** The swimming pool isn't heated; it's cold water.
4. **No Casino:** There's no casino on-site, so if you want to gamble, you'll need to go to Grand Lisboa Palace.
5. **Bad Breakfast:** The breakfast at the cafe was terrible. The rice rolls were cold and hard, and the buffet had fewer than ten dishes – it's not even as good as an Atour Hotel breakfast.
6. **Super Remote:** The location is extremely out of the way and inconvenient.
**Pros:**
1. **Complimentary Wynn Cable Car Tickets:** They provide free tickets for the Wynn cable car.
2. **Convenient Public Transport/Taxis:** There's a bus stop nearby, and it's easy to catch a taxi.
3. **Good Service & Clean Rooms:** The service is decent, and the rooms are quite clean.
AAnonymous UserThis is our second time staying at this hotel! This trip was mainly to take the kids to the Macao Science Center and the Kun Iam Ecumenical Centre waterfront, and the Rocks Hotel's location is just perfect for that! It's within walking distance. Although this hotel is small, it's very charming and refined. The rooms are spacious, and the sea view rooms offer fantastic scenery. It's great value for money, and the Portuguese restaurant on the ground floor has really good food too!
2205823****The room was lovely, exactly my style with all the pink decor. However, check-in was a real drag; I didn't get into my room until almost 4:30 PM because they said it wasn't cleaned yet, which I found a bit hard to understand. For breakfast, you only get to choose from options A, B, C, or D. While it looked beautiful, it honestly didn't taste very good, and it only starts at 9 AM. On top of that, the location is quite out of the way. Getting to the Peninsula is super inconvenient. You have to take a **car to Grand Lisboa Palace, and then there are tons of people waiting there** for a bus to the Peninsula. Due to time constraints, I ended up canceling my trip to the Peninsula, so overall, my experience wasn't great this time. Next time, I'll definitely have to book a hotel on the Peninsula itself.
YyamennnnnHotels in Macau are generally not cheap, but the Beverly Plaza offers incredible value for money. Its location is outstanding – right across from the Grand Lisboa, a 10-minute walk to Wynn to see the Tree of Prosperity, and just a 15-minute walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's. It's incredibly convenient.
And most importantly!!! The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet!!! The bathtub is also separate! This is so crucial!!! It completely aligns with my preferences! I've found the bathroom layouts in many Macau hotels to be quite illogical, but the Beverly Plaza's bathroom gets a perfect score from me!!!
From now on, I'm sticking with Beverly Plaza!
__WeChat42188****Exceeded expectations! The location is superb, making it incredibly convenient to get to MGM for exhibitions.
Facilities: You could practically cook a meal here – the facilities are fully equipped.
Service: Excellent, they even provided breakfast.
Environment: Very good, there's a gym available for workouts.
YYangmiemiedaizhujiaoyaqulvxingBooked this hotel for the George Lam and Sally Yeh concert in Macau. It's quiet and by the sea. There's no free shuttle, so you have to take a public bus to 'Cheoc Van Beach 1' station, then walk down a steep slope. I wouldn't recommend it if you have mobility issues. Walking up and down that big hill every time you go out can be quite tiring. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a balcony with a lovely sea view! The breakfast was also very satisfying! The front desk staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, were super nice and accommodating! Overall, great value for money! I'd come back again (just ignore the hill climbing 😂).
MM433347****The location is fantastic, making travel super convenient with transport links and a supermarket right outside – no worries about getting around! The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, and the bedding was so soft I slept like a log. The natural light and ventilation were excellent. All the facilities worked perfectly, with plenty of hot water and stable pressure. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, making check-in and check-out a breeze, and they promptly responded to all requests. The hygiene was top-notch, and the toiletries were high-quality. This place offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit, truly recommend it to everyone!
LLeisureXplorerHotel is old and tired, need renovation badly. However room is clean and tidy. Reception service was so-so and not welcoming. Check-in was good though, just the night time when approached another receptionist for my own room number but was given a cold and not welcoming reply. It was normal for guest to forget their own room numbers as they don’t stay permanently. However a simple way to verify was guest able to give his identity numbers and name. Or hotel can always accompany the guest to the room to verify. However this guy was so unpleasant and blunt in his replied. Will not stay again in this hotel.
