Outstanding
GGuest UserStaying at the Grand Emperor Hotel was truly a great experience. The entire hotel is spacious and bright, and the front desk staff and lobby attendants were all proactive, enthusiastic, and helpful. The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, and the hygiene is spotless. The breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of choices. Definitely a five-star rating!
YYigexihuankuaileyouwandereneraTraveling with a friend after the May Day holiday, I booked two rooms – one with twin beds and one with a king bed. There was a connecting door between them. I called the front desk and asked them to open it, instantly turning them into a convenient suite for interacting, yet we could close the door for privacy when resting.
The hotel is surprisingly quiet despite being in a bustling area. The rooms are clean, and the beds are very comfortable. I booked without breakfast, opting instead to explore the streets and alleys for a unique Portuguese-style breakfast, which was a wonderful experience.
Upon returning to Gongbei Port, I booked a shuttle at the lobby for a specific time. The 8-seater car was very comfortable, much better than taking a random taxi to the port. The driver's service was excellent, a definite commendation!
GGuest UserThis hotel is quite high-end, with the lobby and corridors boasting a very European-style decor. The room interiors also have a European flair, making them perfect for photoshoots. We booked two sea-view rooms, and the small balconies offered a fantastic view. It's located right by Fisherman's Wharf, which is especially beautiful for night photos. Getting here is super convenient: the bus stop from Hong Kong immigration is just a short walk to the hotel. For departures, you simply cross the road and walk about 50 meters to the free shuttle bus for immigration. Highly recommended!
GGary H.K. ChanIt was our anniversary and Gary at reception offered us a lte check out since we arrived at the hotel quite late. We were also upgraded together with a free red wine as our gift and we were thrilled and we were further offered 2 complimentary breakfast althought we didn't use att the end. I found out that I didn't take my airpods with me at the time when I checked out and we went to lunch. I came back and then 2 receptionists helped me out and called the room to bring it back down even after checkout, I m so pleased by the services Ascott provided me and to us.
Thank you very much and I will for sure come again.
Btw the room we stayed was really nice spacious and comfortable.
GGuest UserThe studio room was decent, and the service was quite good. My flight got canceled, and the front desk was very cooperative in refunding half a day's room fee, which was great. The hotel is close to everything, but if you're visiting Macau, it might be more cost-effective to stay in Zhuhai. Macau still feels like it did 10 years ago.
AAnonymous UserFacilities: Relatively clean.
Environment: Beautiful.
Service: Very good attitude.
Hygiene: Clean.
The location is also great, with plenty of taxis right outside the entrance. The front desk staff are very friendly, and the room is tidy. It offers good value for money and is very welcoming to mainland Chinese visitors.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the quiet Cheoc Van, away from the bustling Cotai and Coloane, but accessible by bus route 26A, which runs every ten minutes or so. It takes only about an hour to get to the hotel from the Macau Peninsula city center, which wasn't too far for me. If you're arriving by bus without much luggage, the public bus stop near the hotel is named C677-1 Cheoc Van Barbecue Park 1 (according to the bus company). After getting off, cross the street, and there will be a black iron gate leading to the hotel. The hotel's swimming pool area and front desk are located in front of the pool. Otherwise, following Gaode Maps will require a longer walk. However, that stone staircase is a bit narrow, so it's inconvenient with large luggage; in that case, you'll have to follow Gaode. The hotel room's balcony overlooks the beach, and the room itself is clean and has a Portuguese flair. Although breakfast is simple, it tastes good. If you don't want to dine at the hotel, you can take a bus to Coloane for a meal, which is only about a ten-minute ride. This place is suitable for tourists who want to escape the hustle and bustle of Macau and enjoy some peace and quiet.
CCHANG WEI HAOThe price was actually quite good. The room was so cold that I didn't even need to turn on the air conditioning. However, the soundproofing was terrible; I could hear everything from the other rooms. If you can't stand that, don't choose this place. The front desk service was excellent, and the location was decent. The bathroom was clean, but it only had a fixed shower head, not a handheld one.
MMaggie Sun 9527Every time we renew our child's passport, we stay here. It's super convenient for getting things done, there are lots of food options nearby, and it's easy to get to the border crossing. Plus, the hotel offers shuttle service. Oh, and the egg tarts in the lobby are absolutely delicious!
GGuest UserThe hygiene is good, and the sea-view breakfast environment is pleasant. It's convenient to get there by taking the Galaxy Shuttle and crossing the skybridge after getting off. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to The Venetian, but it only runs a few times a day. The facilities are a bit old, especially the hairdryer. A deposit of 500 MOP is required, payable only by Alipay or cash, WeChat is not accepted. The service is decent; I didn't have a power adapter for charging, and they sent one up immediately.
