There's also an extra-cost kids' play area on the third floor, perfect for families with young children. The mall's food court and shopping options are also plentiful!"

"I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Macau multiple times, and it used to be consistently excellent. I always felt it offered great value for money, primarily because I trust IHG's management, ensuring cleanliness, and the location is incredibly convenient. For someone without overly high demands, it's definitely a recommended choice. However, this stay felt like the hotel has started cutting corners. Many amenities are no longer provided: no cotton swabs, no charging cables, and even the IHG Rewards welcome drink was gone. Plus, I felt a bit misled. It was my mistake for not reading the booking details carefully and selecting a 'random room' type. After a concert, I checked in quite late and asked for a twin room, only to be told none were available. They then offered me ”the best king room in the entire hotel”! What I got was just a room with an extra two-seater sofa 😅😅😅, and a bathroom where you had to step into the tub just to shower. 😂😂😂 I hope the hotel sees picture four and addresses the issues."

"I booked a King Room with an ocean view. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-maintained. The minibar items were complimentary, except for the premium bottled water and wine (though no wine was provided in the room). A deposit of MOP 1,000 was required at check-in, which was fully refunded upon checkout. The hotel also offered free shuttle buses to major hotels and key departure points across Macau. The concierge, Charles, was particularly helpful in advising us on the correct shuttle bus number to reach our intended destination."

"I chose the right hotel for my trip to Macau with my mom! [Strong] The location is very close to the border gate, and the hotel offers a free shuttle bus which makes getting around super convenient. The room was exceptionally clean, and the soundproofing was excellent. The bed was just the right firmness, so I slept really well. They went above and beyond in every aspect—from luggage storage to local recommendations. Even when it rained, they were right there to ensure our comfort. The room amenities are premium and very generous. Location-wise, it’s perfect—right next to Senado Square and a short walk to St. Paul’s Ruins. Breakfast was impressive, and the rooftop bar is a must-visit; the drinks are great, and the night view of the city is stunning. Everything was perfect. I’ll definitely be back and will highly recommend it to all my friends!"

"The Grand Lisboa Palace Macau has really spacious rooms, about 70 square meters. The decor is simple, elegant, and grand, with beautiful soft furnishings. The staff are attentive and thoughtful; they even gave us extra bottles of water because they noticed we were drinking a lot. The swimming pool is excellent, with both indoor and outdoor heated pools. Breakfast meets five-star standards, but it's not particularly amazing."

"The hotel staff were incredibly helpful! Seeing that there were three of us, they kindly upgraded us to a family suite for free and even brought up extra toiletries without us asking. The room itself was huge! The beds, I'd say about 1.5m by 2m, were incredibly large and comfortable. After using a Trip.com discount, we got the room for around 300 MOP a night, which is an amazing deal. Calling the front desk for service was also super prompt. It's really rare to find such good service in a crowded place like Macau Peninsula. The hotel is right next to a bus stop, making transportation very convenient. If you're looking to explore the Peninsula for a day or two, Hotel Rio is a perfect choice – highly, highly recommended! It's less than a 10-minute walk to Senado Square, making it easy to get anywhere on the main island."

"I brought my parents to Macau for a trip, and choosing Grand Emperor Hotel exceeded my expectations. Upon entering our room, we were pleasantly surprised by a special anniversary setup for my parents. The spacious room was a welcome relief after the relatively small and cramped space we had in Hong Kong for two days. We booked a family room, and from the bay window, we could catch a glimpse of the sea and the fountain, which was lovely. Both check-in and check-out were seamless; they didn't require a deposit. When we checked out, we left our luggage until later in the evening, and the friendly bellboy was very accommodating. The facilities are a bit dated, but acceptable. There's a plug that works with Chinese appliances, and the room has a safe and a mini-fridge. They also provide complimentary bottled water, drinks, and fruit. Breakfast was plentiful, and the freshly cooked beef brisket noodles were delicious and generously portioned. The Grand Emperor has an excellent location; it's about a 10-minute walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's. Right outside the Yaohan department store next door, there's a shuttle bus to Taipa resorts, running about every 10 minutes. You can also get tickets at Grand Lisboa or Lisboa to take a shuttle to the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, which is very convenient. Grand Emperor also has its own shuttle bus, but you need to book in advance, and the last bus at 5:15 PM is a bit early. So, on that day, we took the Lisboa shuttle at around 8 PM to Portas do Cerco (the border gate). The journey took about 15-20 minutes, and the last Lisboa bus is at 9:30 PM. Wynn is a bit further and doesn't require a ticket; you just queue up on the roadside for their shuttle, with the last bus at 11:30 PM. The Portas do Cerco border crossing is open until 1 AM. Arriving from the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, we couldn't find the Grand Lisboa shuttle on the day of arrival, so we first took a free bus to the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, then transferred to the green Lisboa shuttle. After getting off, we could see the Grand Emperor Hotel in the distance. It was about a 10-minute walk with our luggage, and everything worked out perfectly. All in all, I'm very satisfied, and booking through Trip.com was also reliable. Highly recommended!"
