"The service was great, and they offer luggage storage downstairs, along with a shuttle to the border crossing. The view is beautiful, both day and night. The hygiene was decent, but I wish they provided hand soap instead of bar soap. Overall, it's pretty good, the only downside is that most coffee shops in the mall downstairs don't open until after 11 AM."

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Knowing we had an elderly person with us, they kindly extended our check-out time until 2 PM, which was a truly considerate and detailed service. Our entire experience was excellent, and these thoughtful arrangements made this birthday trip exceptionally memorable. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"The room was bright, tidy, and clean, with ample space. The toilet and shower were separate, which was well-organized. There was plenty of complimentary drinking water and enough towels in the shower. The view from the room was beautiful, with a stunning lake and city skyline complementing each other. You could also see the light rail trains passing by, creating a dynamic scene! The only downside is the lack of dining and shopping options near the hotel. However, you can walk 10 minutes to the nearby Jockey Club station, or take the hotel's free shuttle bus to Taipa Village or downtown Macau Peninsula for food, drinks, and entertainment."

"The location is fantastic, perfect for photos day and night, and super convenient for visiting The Parisian and The Venetian. The room has a unique British-inspired design, which is a nice touch. My only minor complaint is that the reading light directly above the bed is too bright and dazzling. There's complimentary coffee and tea in the room, and the teacups also have a lovely British feel. If you want housekeeping during your stay, it's quite slow; we had to ask twice before they came. There aren't many taxis outside the hotel during weekdays, but you might find more on weekends. Dining options at The Londoner aren't as extensive as at The Galaxy, and it's not overly crowded."

"Environment: The hotel environment is quite good, clean and tidy!
Minibar free snacks and complimentary drinks: The snacks were abundant, and there were 4 glass bottles of water, but the water didn't taste particularly fresh or sweet.
Service: The service was good. However, after check-in, they called to say I hadn't signed something and asked me to sign it. Since I had my child with me, it was a bit inconvenient, so I asked them to come up to our room to get the signature.
Facilities: The bathtub couldn't switch to the shower head function, which was very odd. They said someone would come up to fix it, but because my child had already showered in the walk-in shower and it was time to put them to bed, I didn't let them come up to repair it. I'm not sure if the bathroom has an extractor fan; I couldn't find the switch."

"I'd call Grand Lisboa Palace the best hotel in Macau. I've stayed at more expensive places like Wynn, Galaxy, and St. Regis, but none of them compare. They're genuinely dedicated to hospitality and service, not just relying on high rollers for room revenue. This hotel is perfect for those simply looking for a leisure trip. From the moment you arrive, all the staff are incredibly warm and eager to help with any issue immediately. The facilities are luxurious; the indoor pool is stunning, and while the outdoor pool is a bit small, it's great for kids to just splash around.
The hotel is massive with over a thousand rooms, but the signage is clear and the layout is well-designed, so you won't get lost. I found the soundproofing excellent, and the air conditioning wasn't loud at all – many older hotels in Macau have noisy AC units.
The rooms are very new and smart, even with electric curtains, though mine seemed to malfunction.
The location is great for shopping. A taxi to the Venetian costs around 30 MOP, and Wynn Palace is just a 10-minute walk away.
The only downside is the breakfast; it's quite ordinary with nothing special, not very varied, and the freshness could be improved."

All the staff were incredibly polite, always greeting me with a 'hello' and paying attention to every service detail. MMuxi456A legendary hotel. Designed by Zaha Hadid, with an investment of 6.5 billion, utilizing 28,000 tons of steel, and managed by Lawrence Ho, it opened in 2018.
The service is impeccable; guests are escorted to their rooms, and luggage is handled for them. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, and the fully smart features were truly ahead of their time 8 years ago. Don't miss the open-air pool on the 50th floor.
Breakfast is served directly to the room. Guests in executive rooms can also have breakfast at the lounge on the 30th floor. It's a semi-buffet style, and the quality is superb.
I do have to complain about the behavior of some mainland Chinese guests. Half of them were wearing slippers in the lounge, speaking loudly, playing audio on their phones without headphones, and generally lacking etiquette. Such 'uncouth' individuals really shouldn't be present in such an establishment.

FfishwingI've always wanted to stay at Hotel Okura, but it's so hard to get a reservation. I finally managed to book a two-night, three-day stay last week, and I was so impressed by the meticulous and thoughtful service. I have to give it a big thumbs up:
1. Before checking in, I emailed the hotel to let them know it was my husband's birthday in June and asked for some birthday decorations. They replied quickly, and to my surprise, they even sent a delicious matcha cake! [Strong]
2. The hotel lobby is open and airy with a simple, understated design. The bamboo garden courtyard is serene and luxurious, creating a wonderful ambiance. The front desk staff are all attractive and friendly. When we checked in, Johnny thoughtfully extended our check-out time to 1 PM. When we checked out, Alsen proactively asked about our stay and even gave us a hotel fridge magnet. The service from both gentlemen was truly exceptional.
3. The guest room layout is well-designed, comfortable, and practical. The Japanese design details are perfectly executed. The tea set is very practical, and there were also candies and fruit, with complimentary beverages. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job cleaning and thoughtfully organized all my jewelry and cosmetics. It's been years since I've seen such a comprehensive turndown service – water, slippers, and a bathmat were all meticulously placed, and they even provided a sleep spray and paper cranes. Coming back to a tidy room every day after enjoying the Grand Resort Deck was incredibly comforting.
4. I've already decided to bring my mom to Hotel Okura next time, and I hope it will be easier to book then. I do wish the trash can in the bathroom was a bit bigger. All in all, my stay at Hotel Okura was very pleasant and excellent.

XXiaowanshanshanI accidentally booked the wrong room type. When checking in, I asked if I could switch to a twin room, but after a thorough search, they said none were available. However, they offered a promotional upgrade to a 100-square-meter suite for less than an additional 300 RMB, which is double the size and includes an extra bed – a fantastic deal! Plus, we were able to check in around 10 AM, which was great. There's a Disney pop-up right downstairs, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Overall, I'm very satisfied, with the only minor inconvenience being the lack of a full-length mirror in the room. Everything else was excellent!

GGuest UserVery good hotel, but the staff attitude at the breakfast restaurant was disappointing. The girl who prepares the juice had a really bad attitude. I simply asked for a drink, and she seemed very unwilling to serve me. She even glared at me.
The hotel itself is of a very high standard, but this staff do not meet that standard! Her attitude was disappointing and not what I would expect from a hotel of this quality.

AAnonymous UserYou HAVE to choose this hotel! I was visiting Hong Kong but staying in Shenzhen, and the transportation was incredibly convenient. It's super close to customs! The MixC shopping mall is right nearby, and ordering takeout was a breeze with tons of options. Most importantly, the room was exceptionally clean. We upgraded our room type later, and honestly, it's on par with, if not better than, hotels like All Seasons. I especially loved that the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and the large projector was a huge plus. Both the TV and QQ Music had VIP access, so I kept the music playing while my friend and I did our makeup – it was so relaxing. And the front desk staff was amazing! I had a few unexpected issues during my stay, and I felt like I was bothering her, but she remained incredibly kind and helpful. On our last day, we wanted to go for dim sum and planned to try Fan Lou, and it turned out to be right downstairs from the hotel when we navigated there! I'm extremely, extremely satisfied with this hotel.

Although we are a couple sans children, the hotel is very family friendly with two pools (one indoor, one outdoor). Outdoor pool had an area for children with a zip line and balance obstacles. Children’s club with indoor bounce house, board games, table tennis table, pool table, foosball table and outdoor jungle gym. Changing room has a steam room, sauna and showers. Easy to order food and drinks pool side via QR code however service can be a little slow therefore expect to wait a little bit for what you ordered to be delivered. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options and price is very affordable, with a discounted price for children. Highly recommend staying here and we will stay here again in the future.

The facilities were complete, the environment was spotless, and the service was on point. Absolutely a fantastic 5-star location! The hotel is directly opposite Sands, and Fisherman's Wharf is right next to Sands. March is the off-peak season in Macau, so there's no direct bus from Hengqin Port to Sands. You need to transfer at The Venetian, but it's still quite convenient. From Sands to the hotel, you have to cross a pedestrian bridge, but there's a 24-hour elevator. Once you exit the elevator, it's not a long walk in either direction, which is very helpful for travelers with luggage.
## Surroundings:
To the right of the hotel, there's a small alley that leads directly to Macao Polytechnic University, less than 100 meters away, making it super convenient for students taking exams there. A 5-minute walk to the left will take you to the Lotus Square, and you can also see the Golden Lotus from the pathway behind the hotel. If you head right out of the hotel and walk straight down the main road for 15-20 minutes, you can reach the Grand Lisboa and Macau Tower. There are plenty of dining options nearby, probably due to its proximity to the university, with choices for all budgets.
## Facilities:
The hotel reception is on the second floor. The interior facilities are complete, and the bedding and amenities are good. The room also has a refrigerator. The room isn't huge but doesn't feel cramped.
## Hygiene:
The room was cleaned very well and felt comfortable. However, the windows are sealed, so upon first entering, there was a slight musty smell due to lack of ventilation. Thankfully, it dissipated after turning on the air conditioning and ventilation system.
## Environment:
The hallway soundproofing isn't great; you can hear people walking and talking outside the room. Traffic noise from the street outside also comes through at night. However, this seems to be a common issue with hotels and can't be avoided.
## Service:
The front desk staff are busy but very responsible, and they can switch between Mandarin and Cantonese freely for guests. A deposit is required for check-in, and Alipay is accepted.

Staying at the Victoria Hotel Macau this time, the location really couldn't be better. It's right in the city center, making it super convenient to get to the Ruins of St. Paul's and all the major casinos. There's a bus stop right downstairs, so getting around is hassle-free. The room is typically 'Macanese' – not huge, but spotlessly clean and tidy. The bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is decent, making it perfectly adequate for a layover.
However, I really have to complain about the breakfast; the experience was quite poor. The restaurant seating was very cramped, and when it got busy, it felt chaotic. The food selection was very limited, and the hot dishes basically never changed. The taste was also quite ordinary, even a bit perfunctory, definitely inferior to hotels in the same price range.
Overall, the stay itself was comfortable, but definitely don't have high expectations for breakfast. If your booking doesn't include breakfast, I recommend heading to a nearby tea restaurant instead; the food there will be much better! 🥲

PPulishendinachuangwuerThis hotel offers great value for money. It's very close to Galaxy Macau, just across the road. The view from the window is also lovely. Getting a taxi right outside the hotel is super quick, and the metro is also nearby. For food, there's a good restaurant called Macao Restaurant just a few hundred meters away; their pork chop bun is especially delicious and it's very affordable. From the restaurant, Taipa Village (Rua do Cunha) is also very close, perfect for a stroll.
