Amazing
GGuest UserI would honestly give this hotel more than full marks if I could. It exceeded our expectations in so many ways, and considering the reasonable price, it offered incredible value for money. My family booked two rooms for three nights. Before arriving, we had a rather unpleasant experience at our previous hotel where we were bitten badly by what seemed to be bed mites. As a result, we contacted this hotel before check-in and politely requested that the rooms be thoroughly cleaned and that all bed linens be changed. From the moment we arrived, the staff showed genuine care and professionalism. They kindly asked about our situation and reassured us that both rooms had been deep cleaned. We were welcomed with cold towels, refreshing welcome drinks, and delicious desserts, which immediately made us feel comfortable and cared for. When we entered our rooms, we were pleasantly surprised to find an air purifier already prepared for us. The rooms were spotless and impeccably clean. Everything felt fresh, and we could immediately see the effort the hotel had put into ensuring our comfort. Most importantly, every member of the staff was incredibly warm, friendly, and sincere. The hotel also provides complimentary afternoon tea. While the selection is not extensive, it is more than enough for a relaxing break with a cup of tea. The kids’ playroom is conveniently located nearby, which made the experience even more enjoyable for families. Another wonderful surprise was that the hotel treated each guest to a complimentary bowl of traditional Vietnamese noodle soup for dinner. It was delicious and became one of the highlights of our stay. Before arriving, I was a little concerned because guests need to climb a short flight of stairs to reach the lobby. We were travelling with an elderly family member and a stroller, so I worried it might be inconvenient. However, every single time we needed assistance, the staff immediately stepped forward to help carry our luggage and stroller. Their attentiveness truly impressed us. Since the hotel is located beside a main road, transportation could have been slightly challenging, but once again the staff went above and beyond. Whenever our Grab arrived, they would help us call the driver closer to the entrance and even hold umbrellas for us during hot weather, making it much easier and safer for our family to get in and out of the vehicle. We stayed for three nights, and every morning the breakfast was varied, plentiful, and delicious. There was always something different to enjoy, which made breakfast something we looked forward to each day. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our stay. The cleanliness, thoughtful service, excellent hospitality, and attention to detail made this one of the most memorable hotel experiences we have had. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, especially families with children and elderly travellers. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. This wasn’t just good service—it was genuine hospitality. We would definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserThe location is absolutely fantastic! My Khe Beach is right across the street as soon as you step out, making it a superb spot for catching the sunrise. The hotel rooms are new, clean, and tidy, and the front desk staff are patient and meticulous. The hotel breakfast offers a good variety, and the baguette is especially delicious—highly recommend it!

MMichael BrightThe signature by M heritage hotel is a hidden gem that we absolutely loved. If could rate it a 10 I would. The staff is the key to the best hotel in Danang. From the moment we checked in we felt comfortable and relaxed. The friendliness and hospitality we received we were exceptional. Nick was very kind and gave us wonderful recommendations for local coffee shops and restaurants. I am sorry  But I lost track of the names of the beautiful young ladies who greeted us every morning with smiles and interesting places to explore. They all made our stay a great experience that I have already shared with numerous people in Danang. The hotel is very clean and our room was serviced daily with fresh sheets and towels and free water. Nick even helped me with a scooter and did everything needed to have it delivered. I actually feel like the team is family. Th room was quiet from other rooms and the street. Several nice sitting areas with WiFi to relax in it on each floor. The free breakfast included in the nightly rate was very good with good service the hotel is in a nice quiet safe neighborhood with good restaurants and coffee shops. I highly encourage everyone to try this hotel.  Michael Bright & Memel Yu

HHenry_the_KingTo be honest, some highs and lows here. The service here is more like a 3-star hotel, definitely not a 4-star. I remembered the first two days I was presented with this nice buffet with good food choices , then for another 3 or 4 days, the buffet stopped running and they switched to this really underwhelming a la carte menu that looked more befitting into a 2-star backpacker or student hostel. Then I found out the buffet was only set up because of a number of Chinese guests staying there. When they left, the buffet went (obviously me and the other 15 guests who were staying there, didn't deserve it??) The last two days they set it up again, and surprise, a large number of Russian guests had just checked in. So it turns that only if you are Chinese or Russian you get the attentions here? I know what I paid wasn't cheap, smacks of discrimination. Then on those days the service turned sloppy, I came early for breakfast, I think this is the first place I have been, where they penalise you if you come to eat early. 30 mins after opening and some trays were cold, I had to use the toaster to heat it up. The housekeeping was a bit strange here. They didn't replace the bed sheets, they simply tucked them in (I know this anecdotically, for a fact) One of the coffee cups replaced was soiled and stained, and in one occasion, they had removed one of the bar items without telling me (paving the way to maybe ask me to pay for it later without me taking it, this is not a good practice) The coffee bar was very hit and miss. Some of the pastry pieces on display were some of the most ghastly I've ever seen, they looked raw, I had to ask them if they had been baked, they said yes (they were unglazed) On the second day, they served me this wishy washy mish mash of crushed ice with some mango on top, didn't taste of anything, they wanted 40000 d for that, how is that even on the menu? After that, I didn't set foot in there again. The hotel was not even at 20% capacity, and they had the brilliant idea of putting people directly next to me and above upstairs..really? The pikey backpackers would be thumping on the floor a lot of the time, very poor isolation. Upon leaving, I had this Be taxi driver (white car, 125.xx plate) He parked across the road, I was carrying my suitcases, I told him to turn around. He got in his taxi, drove off, and left me STRANDED, this was a booking to the airport, what kind of subhuman does that??? My experience with the Vietnamese is not great, but the staff here were kind and helpful, and assisted me greatly. Location not really great, a bit far from everything, but the place was very clean. So there are some positives, but this is in no way a 4 star for me, especially when subject to profiling and priviledges are removed, depending on where you come from, and what colour your skin is.

BBouangeunArrival & First Impression (7/10): Mandila Beach Hotel’s understated facade belies its prime location along Da Nang’s bustling My Khe Beach. The lobby exudes a contemporary minimalism, with natural light streaming through floor-to-ceiling windows, casting soft shadows at midday. Acoustics are well-managed, ensuring hushed conversations despite the proximity to the entrance. A refreshing lemongrass spritz upon arrival was a thoughtful touch, though the welcome ritual lacked the personal flourish one might expect at this tier. Room / Suite Inspection (6.5/10): Initially assigned a room marred by an unpleasant bathroom odour, the staff promptly relocated me to a smaller, albeit odour-free, alternative due to full occupancy. While the room was impeccably clean, the compromise in size detracted from the overall experience. Natural light at golden hour was enchanting, highlighting the crisp, high-thread-count linens. The duvet, weighing a comforting 12 pounds, promised restful slumber. However, storage space was limited, and the tech offerings felt slightly outdated. Service & Staff Interactions (7.5/10): The staff demonstrated commendable responsiveness, particularly in rectifying the initial room issue. Their attentiveness was evident, yet there were moments where interactions veered towards the procedural rather than the intuitive. A memorable instance was a staff member’s recommendation for a local hidden gem, which enriched my stay considerably. Dining & F&B (6/10): Breakfast was serviceable, offering a decent selection of local and international fare. However, it lacked the finesse and creativity one might anticipate in a luxury setting. The eggs Benedict, while perfectly cooked, was served with a hollandaise that bordered on bland. The bar, situated on the rooftop, provided panoramic views and a well-curated cocktail menu, though service was inconsistent. Facilities & Amenities (7/10): The rooftop pool, maintained at a refreshing 26°C, was a sanctuary from the city’s heat. The gym, though compact, was equipped with modern apparatus. Spa services, while pleasant, did not quite reach the transformative heights expected. The hotel’s gardens, lush and meticulously maintained, offered a tranquil escape. Location & Context (8/10): Situated directly on My Khe Beach, Mandila Beach Hotel offers unparalleled access to the sand and sea. The neighborhood, a blend of local charm and tourist amenities, provides a genuine taste of Da Nang. However, the proximity to a busy road occasionally intrudes on the otherwise serene environment. Value Perception & Any Standout / Disappointing Elements (6.5/10): While the hotel offers a comfortable stay, certain elements fall short of justifying its premium pricing. The inconsistency in room size and service detracts from the overall value. Nonetheless, the location and rooftop amenities are commendable. Final Verdict + Score (7.0/10): Mandila Beach Hotel delivers a competent luxury experience, though it is marred by notable inconsistencies. It is a solid choice for travellers prioritising location and comfort, though those seeking a seamless, opulent stay may find better alternatives nearby. Who it’s for: Couples and solo travellers seeking a beachfront retreat in Da Nang. I would not return but might recommend the Anantara Hoi An Resort for a more consistently luxurious experience.

NNulli_SecundusI really wanted to like this stay, but they made it challenging. The front desk was friendly and welcoming and when I checked into my room, I felt it was odd that there was a curtain on the opposite side if the room from where you entered, so I took a small peek out of the curtain to notice a window looking out to another wing of of an elevator bank. So I tried to ignore it and closed the curtain tight when I noticed a deep and wide Crack from the ceiling, down the wall, and across the floor. I end up going to sleep and was awoken with bright sunlight shining into my room from the curtain area and when I rolled over in my bed I saw an Indian man staring at me and then saying, ”Go, Go, Go”! To a friend or partner and they darted onto the elevator and disappeared. I then realized that the curtain wasn't covering a window but double doors which were unlocked for other guests to just open if they wanted. It was extremely traumatizing and invasive of my privacy and security. I spoke with Trip's customer service and they were exceptional in helping me resolve the issue and getting my room changed. Unfortunately, the next night a hotel maintenance worker came barging into my room without knocking and I had to ask, ”What's going on”? And the worker said, ”Oh. Sorry. Sorry” and left. The hotel staff said the worker got the wrong room that he was supposed to do maintenance to. The front desk manager (Anna) was apologetic and kind. On a positive note, the free breakfast buffet was delightful as long as you got their at 06:00am before the guests from India arrived because the Indians would finger and touch and use their hands constantly when getting food instead of using the provided utensils. Utterly disgusting. The buffet staff were way too kind in constantly reminding these Indian guests to use the utensils because Vietnam isn't the unsanitary country like India is. There were two different pools on the roof but I would never swim or soak in those pools because of the oil slick scum on the top of the water after the guests from India swam in the pools that they left behind.

RRuan Ming Jun (The Good King)The hotel looks good at first glance – the view is beautiful, the room is spacious and nicely decorated. On the surface, it feels like a quality stay. But that’s where the positives end. The amenities inside the room are very basic, and honestly feel cheap compared to the standard of the room. Considering the price (which is not cheap at all), the overall impression is underwhelming. Breakfast was a complete disaster – poor quality, lack of variety, and far below the standard expected from a hotel of this level. It left a really bad taste for the rest of the stay. On top of that, the front desk staff were not friendly. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was inconveniencing them every time I approached. Hospitality is supposed to be about warmth and service, but this hotel failed badly in that regard. Verdict: Beautiful view and spacious room cannot make up for the poor service, terrible breakfast, and disappointing amenities. Definitely not worth the price. I would not stay here again.
