Pros:
1. The hotel's natural environment is excellent, offering sightings of incredibly rare protected animals. They also provide a free wildlife tour, which I highly recommend. It's a fantastic experience to simply walk around the hotel and spot monkeys foraging.
2. The service is outstanding. The hotel staff are attentive and very considerate of guests. The welcome drink was delicious. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, and I received a room upgrade with a great view and a spacious layout.
3. The slippers were very comfortable. The breakfast tableware was exquisite.
Cons for me:
1. The claim of being the 'most beautiful Intercontinental' is an exaggeration. Some areas even felt [as pictured], though I suppose one could call it 'unique.' Personally, I found it gaudy.
2. I strongly recommend including executive lounge access. If you arrive early, since there's no air conditioning in the public areas, the only cool indoor space to relax is the executive lounge. Otherwise, you're stuck waiting in the hotel lobby, and elderly guests and children need to be careful to avoid heatstroke.
3. The breakfast was delicious, and the fruit quality was high. However, it's baffling why the other restaurants were so bad. After reading reviews that even the Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant wasn't great, I booked a package that included dinner. I paid extra to change the dishes, but they were still terrible. It was arguably the worst meal I had in Vietnam.
4. Although the hotel was uncrowded and had a good environment, the beach quality was very average, and the loungers by the sea started closing down every day at 6 PM.
In summary, I think this Intercontinental is worth staying at, but don't go in with exceptionally high expectations.

Guest UserThe hotel is conveniently located in the city center, offering easy access to major tourist attractions. While it's walkable if the weather in Da Nang wasn't so hot, we ended up using Grab for all our sightseeing due to the intense heat. The hotel facilities are clean, and the breakfast, which changes slightly every day, is great. They also offer a good variety of fruits! All the staff are very friendly, and Dinh Thai, in particular, was exceptionally kind and had an adorable smile. I'd highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for central access to tourist spots. The infinity pool is a must-try! ^^

Guest UserThe staff here are absolutely lovely and incredibly attentive to detail. Before our stay, I informed them that we don't eat pork or beef for breakfast because my friend is Muslim and I don't eat beef either, so we requested chicken, eggs, and similar items. When it was time for breakfast, a staff member walked us through each dish, explaining what was in everything. They remembered our specific requests! All the staff members were very friendly. A particular shout-out to Money, who took care of us from check-in, during meals, our outings, and even seeing us off for our journey home. She's a great conversationalist, very proactive in engaging with guests, and extremely knowledgeable. She can recommend anything and even drew a map for us when we asked for directions. If I have the chance to visit again, I'll definitely stay here.

SissyCCCyuFamily trip during summer holiday | This time we chose Da Nang, Vietnam.
Didn't do much research, just picked Voco Ma Belle like a lucky dip, and being an IHG property, I had some trust in it.
The breakfast was excellent and varied; we enjoyed it thoroughly for four consecutive days.
Two families went, and both opted for family rooms. They come with a king-sized bed plus bunk beds. Room 812 was significantly larger than 802 (I recommend mentioning this to the front desk when checking in).
The location is fantastic.
Plenty of convenience stores downstairs, and the street behind has massage places and restaurants.
Just cross the road and you're at the beach.

Daria_lsvaA wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Da Nang. When I booked, I thought the room decor looked a bit outdated, but that's not the case at all! The room is fantastic: high ceilings, comfortable mattresses, and solid hardwood furniture. In the evenings, they bring small treats like dried fruit. The breakfasts are incredibly varied, offering both European and traditional Vietnamese dishes, various coffees, and even ice cream. The food at the beach bar is also excellent. The price is high compared to other 4-5 star hotels in Vietnam. Here, you experience tranquility and relaxation, with many areas for unwinding (pools, hammocks, bean bags). There's also a kids' club. If you want to dive into the chaos and vibrant city life, it's about a 15-20 minute drive, and taxis arrive quickly. There are only 16 sun loungers on the beach, but you can always find a spot, as most guests are European and Korean, with few Russian speakers who tend to occupy loungers all day. The spa center is top-notch.

GiangpThe highlight of my stay was definitely the spectacular view from the master bedroom of the 2-bedroom apartment. I had a direct view of the Macau vs. Germany fireworks display on June 21, which was absolutely marvelous. The apartment was spacious, very clean, and well equipped, with a washing machine and a functional kitchen. The bed was comfortable and met the standards I’d expect from an international 5-star hotel.
The property is showing its age, however. While everything is generally well maintained, the furnishings feel dated and somewhat inexpensive. The hallways in the apartment tower are also rather dark and can be difficult to navigate.
Service was adequate but unremarkable, nothing particularly stood out, either positively or negatively.
Overall, a comfortable stay with fantastic views and practical apartment-style facilities, though the interiors could benefit from a refresh.

OlgaAntThe hotel is large and beautiful, with good rooms, decent food, and polite staff. Downsides: very poor air conditioning in the hotel itself (not in the rooms). It was impossible to stay on the 2nd floor, at reception, during the day; sweat was pouring down. There's a lack of customer focus. This seems to be an issue with new hotels and inexperienced staff, but I believe it's something that can be improved over time.

EvoFunkWe stayed at the Sunny Ocean Hotel in Da Nang for four nights. We initially booked a different hotel but were shocked at how dirty it was. We walked into this hotel, and immediately, the girl at reception was very helpful in making a booking for us. In a flash, she found two rooms. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bellboy was very kind and attended to moving our bags, fixing the air conditioning, and helping us reset the safe. Breakfast was nice. We enjoyed the swimming pool on the roof and loved the beautiful sunsets in the evenings. All the hotel staff members were friendly and welcoming. Overall, we enjoyed staying at this hotel—especially after our experience with the previous one.
