"We chose this hotel based on reviews from fellow countrymen, and we've concluded that reviews don't always fully reflect reality. The hotel is more like a 4-star, and if you're prepared for that, you generally won't be disappointed. We travel a lot, including in Vietnam, and we know there are much higher-quality hotels for the same price. The hotel is old, very old. The hallways on the floors look like a dormitory. The facade is already shabby. We had a very strange check-in experience: we booked a Seaview family suite, which is one of the best rooms in the hotel. However, upon arrival, we were given an old, shabby room with a view of a rooftop and a noisy road. At 7 AM, someone started drilling outside our window! After our complaints, we were moved to the room category we originally booked. After talking to other Russian tourists, we found out they had the same issue with room changes! Why does the hotel do this? It certainly damages their reputation. The hotel service is generally non-existent; the staff isn't trained to work with people. The influx of Russian package tourists seems to have made the service even worse. It's a shame. On the positive side: there are 2 pools, one quite large. But a big downside is the very rough tiles in the pool! All the children got injured, scraping their fingers every day. I urge the hotel management to address this. There's a lovely private beach area without outsiders. The sea itself in Da Nang and Hoi An is generally an acquired taste; coming from Primorye, we don't swim in water like that :) There's a beautiful lawn in front of the beach, but there aren't many sun loungers on the beach, and there aren't enough of them. The hotel is VERY crowded; there's no privacy here. This hotel, apartments, and villas share a small area. Additionally, the hotel also sells day passes for the beach and pool! In high season, I think this is unacceptable as it significantly lowers the quality of vacation for hotel guests. Breakfast: breakfast is very lively and noisy. You have to queue for food, and waffles and pancakes are practically snatched up. This is certainly not 5-star level. I liked the separate quiet area in the restaurant during breakfast – that's a plus. The à la carte restaurant by the pool is excellent; we had a quiet lunch there and enjoyed it. The restaurants where the buffet is served for dinner and lunch are worse; the selection of dishes is small, and there's not much to choose from. Overall, the impressions are not bad, but for this price (we paid 20,000 rubles per night for 2 bedrooms), we expected more in Vietnam. We were pleased with the inexpensive laundry service and affordable spa. Our child also made a couple of crafts at the kids' club. One day, I got food poisoning (presumably from the hotel restaurant). I called reception to ask for more water in the room, and the staff started explaining that water was chargeable. I had to raise my voice to get the water. We appreciated the well-maintained, green grounds. Free bicycles are available, which many hotel guests aren't even aware of."

The front desk staff was incredibly helpful, making both check-in and check-out remarkably quick and efficient. The morning breakfast offered a fantastic variety of delicious choices, and our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable throughout my visit. Most importantly, it was the wonderful, attentive service from all the staff that truly set this hotel apart. Everyone went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I highly recommend Crowne Plaza Danang and cannot wait to return!"

"The hotel's proximity to My Khe Beach (150 meters across the street) makes enjoying the sand and sea incredibly convenient. Located on the coastline near Son Tra Mountain, it's a delightful experience to explore Son Tra and Linh Ung Pagoda by electric scooter. The breakfast selection is extensive, covering almost all global cuisines, and is both delicious and natural. Hotel service is very responsive, and room cleaning is thorough. Although the rooftop pool is a bit small, it's clean, offers good views, and is very pleasant. The gym facilities are also quite comprehensive. The only slight drawback is the lack of complimentary self-service laundry and drying facilities. This is a very important amenity for travelers to regularly clean their clothes, and I hope it can be added."
