We kicked off our honeymoon in Jiangxi, and Lushan was our final stop. This hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations and was by far the best accommodation of our entire trip in Jiangxi. It's safe to say this is one of Lushan's top hotels, excelling in every aspect: tranquility, privacy, ambiance, facilities, location, historical significance, and service. Perched on top of the mountain, above Guling Town, it offers incredible peace and picturesque scenery. The hotel is a conversion of the former Zhang Xueliang Villa and the subsequent Prin Road Villa Complex. The sprawling villa grounds are stunning and perfect for photos. Our room had a fresh, French-inspired decor. Since it was the off-season, we even got a complimentary upgrade to a room with a balcony. The room was spacious, the facilities were brand new, and the lighting created a wonderful atmosphere. I must also mention that the stir-fried dishes at the restaurant were absolutely delicious. The hotel's amenities are extensive; there's a communal pool area where you can lie back and enjoy the mountain views (though the pool wasn't open recently), as well as a laundry room with 24-hour self-service washing and drying, which was incredibly convenient. They also provide driver service to the transportation management station or other accessible locations. Even their MPVs for transfers are a cut above what other Lushan hotels offer.

The room was really spacious, and it was pretty quiet since it's a bit of a distance from town, so I slept incredibly well at night. The fried noodles for breakfast at the hotel were especially delicious; my kid even talked about wanting more 'Howard Johnson fried noodles' after we got home. As for transportation, the hotel has a shuttle bus every hour that can take you to town or a specific stop. Just contact the front desk half an hour in advance, which is quite convenient. Walking to town takes about half an hour, so it's a nice option for those who enjoy hiking. On the day we arrived, we were able to visit Huajing Park, which is quite close to the hotel. The complimentary foot bath was a lifesaver after hiking; my sleep quality was fantastic after soaking my feet.

The environment of the B&B is good, but the rooms are really average. When I first checked in, I noticed that there were cobwebs in the bathroom and the sound insulation was also very poor. Other children were running around and talking at night and in the morning, which could affect my sleep. The bath water is hot and cold, and there are mosquitoes in the room. The most important thing is that the breakfast here is the worst I have ever had since I stayed in a hotel. It doesn't matter that the restaurant does not have air conditioning. There are only a few foods, boiled eggs, that are cold. Hanamaki, soft fried dough sticks, soy milk, vermicelli soaked in water and blanched in advance.

The location is very good to find, from the south gate of the scenic spot to the Huiyuan Road station to walk for a few minutes. The young lady at the front desk was very nice. It rained on the day we went, the wind was very strong, and the young lady lent us no raincoat. The room is also very clean, because at the top of the homestay group, the environment is also very quiet, sleep will not be disturbed

We were climbing Mount Lushan. The hotel is right between Mount Lushan and the Donglin Giant Buddha. Environment: The hotel is spacious, and the rooms are nice, with balconies. Cleanliness: Okay, clean and tidy. Amenities: Typical of most hotels, with tables and single sofas. Service: Kudos to the restaurant lady on June 1st. She was very friendly and helpful! I booked a standard room in Wuliuju. It was probably not the weekend. The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and said that it was not convenient to stay in Wuliuju in the main building on a rainy day. She upgraded it to a deluxe standard room in the main building. The aunt on the floor provided good service and watched us pull the suitcase through the door curtain. She also helped to lift the door curtain. The room is large and clean, the bedding is clean, and the bed is soft. There are quite a lot of breakfast varieties, and I am satisfied with it. I didn’t take a dip in the hot spring because it rained. I will take a dip next time.
