The location although 7 km from the city center that seems near it is not! You have to walk 15-20 min to the nearest bus station and then there are only 2 buses running every hour to reach city center. If you miss the first one then you have to wait another 25 minutes for the second one! If you are planning your trip on foot avoid this one. If you rent a car there is a parking lot outside in the courtyard of the hotel and several more just outside the hotel on the street. Both parking spots are in the open. Hotel offers a closed parking spot in its basement but on pay. We had to change room the next day of our arrival as there was a noise coming out of the ventilation system. A supervisor came to inspect the room and after verifying our sayings offered us a room 2 floor down. During our stay one of the three lift was out of order and it was a nightmare to come down in the morning during peak hours. All three days we were getting to lobby by stairs.

We have arrived to Social Hub in Bologna for our Easter break. Check in was easy - although a bit surprised we had to pay further bill for our stay (city tax wasn’t apparently included in the booking). The communal space is as on the photos. We haven’t used many amenities as the pool was still closed and when we asked about pink pong rackets there were never available (even though nobody played at the time). But I particularly liked the fact most of the plants were actually real. That was a lovely touch. We opted out from having the breakfast (for 12.50€ per person) and had coffee and croissants instead which worked out much cheaper. Our room was spacious (lovely high ceiling) and perfectly clean. Perhaps a little armchair would be nice as it felt a bit empty with just a desk & chair, bed and simple clothes shelving. But for short stay it was ok. There was no complimentary tea or coffee in the room. Just some water bottles. The rest was a payable mini bar. The TV had only one English speaking channel (BBC news) and wasn’t compatible for mirror screening with iPhones (Androids only). Bathroom was super clean. We found the water pressure a bit low but still manageable. Overall it’s a nice place to stay as it’s conveniently placed a stone throw from the train station and walking distance from the old town. Staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you for having us.

The room is very large and well-equipped. It is very good in Milan. In the suburbs, don’t get in and out of the hotel too late. It takes about 5 minutes to the subway station. There is a large supermarket. Breakfast is okay. It’s cheaper than eating outside. The keychain is too heavy. The door lock can be opened after a long time

EErica CohnTwo stars because it is a nice hotel with comfortable beds. Thats about it. It is certainly not a five star hotel, which it purports to be. We arrived around 8pm and advised reception that we needed to leave for the airport at five am. At some point reception advises that the booking was for one person and they had to charge us for the second. I have never heard of this! So for the extra person for our 8 hour stay, they wanted €100! What the hell for? I looked on a booking sight and showed the receptionist that I could still book a room (which would come with a free bottle of wine) for two people for exactly what I paid. Receptionist kept saying that it would be more if i booked through the hotel. Lets follow the logic here. Why would i book directly through the hotel if the same room is less on a booking sight? The most irritating part is that she kept laughing inappropriately for some unknown reason. The male receptionist kept insisting that the € 100 was for the ”free” hot breakfast. We reminded him that we had to leave before breakfast was served. He assured us that there would be a cart full of food in the morning before we left. Long story short, that did not happen. There was a cart with coffee and a few pastries. But wait, there's more! The man at the reception in the morning told us that if we had asked, they would have made us breakfast. That would have been nice if it was ever suggested by reception at check in! A real five star hotel would have just taken the initiative to prepare the bagged breakfast for us given the conversation had the night before. I also enjoyed how the staff talked down to us insisting that a €100 per person euro fee is totally normal. Because I've never stayed in a hotel before! Thats sarcasm btw. Again, this certainly was not a five star experience. And just to compare apples to apples, we stayed at a four star hotel when we arrived in bologna 10 days earlier. It was 1/5 the cost, the staff much more accommodating and was just as comfortable and nice. So do yourself a favor and ignore the alleged five star rating and save your money and nerves by staying anywhere else.

JJoyceThe lobby and room was very nice as it’s newly renovated. Location was also great, just opposite the train station and about 20-30 minutes walk into the centre. Staff were all very nice and friendly. The only bad thing was the shower water pressure was too low and the hot water took quite long to come on. The room lighting can also be a bit dim. Breakfast isn’t great so I would recommend to eat outside if you can.

KkikikeIt is just opposite the central station, which is very convenient. The room is relatively large and spacious. The overall style is old-fashioned, and the bathroom still has a bathtub, which is not very convenient for taking a bath, and the bath water splashes everywhere. There are relatively few sockets in the room, and there is no USB port commonly used now. It is very convenient to eat at the commercial street at the door, and it is not far to the twin towers of the Neptune fountain in the city center, about 1.2 kilometers. The hotel does not provide slippers and toothbrushes.

SSiraI recently stayed at the Hotel NH Bologna de la Gare in Bologna for four nights. Here’s a detailed account of my experience: Location: The hotel is conveniently located near the main Bologna train station. This made it very handy for our day trips to Venice and Florence. The location is one of the best aspects of the hotel. Room: I booked a standard room. While it wasn’t particularly spacious, it was clean, modern, and comfortable. The cleanliness and modernity of the room were quite impressive, especially compared to some older European hotels. Amenities: The hotel has a notable rooftop bar that serves aperitif. It’s a nice place to unwind and enjoy a drink with a view. Service: The check-in and check-out processes were smooth. I arrived a bit before noon, and they let me check in early. On the day of departure, our flight was in the evening, and we were able to check out late for a fee of 10 EUR per hour after 12. The staff were quite friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Dining: I paid for the breakfast, which was serviceable. It was adequate but nothing extraordinary. Overall Experience: The best part of my stay was the location. It made it very easy to explore nearby cities via train. The modern and clean room was also a big plus. I can’t think of any areas for improvement; overall, I’m quite happy with my stay. Recommendation: Yes, I would recommend this hotel to others, mainly for its excellent location and modern rooms. Unlike some older apartments in Europe, the rooms here are updated and comfortable.

GGuest UserThey gave us a family room outside of the main building of the hotel. So, we exposed the voice coming from the street. The room was large enough but at the first glance we felt a little bit unsafe, but it was OK. However, there was a draft of cold air in the room that we could not locate, Croissants at the breakfast were the worst I have ever tasted. Please change your supplier. Stuff was kind and helpful.

KKalim’s worldEveryone would agree that they don't want to let others know where they like very much. This hotel provides pleasure and comfort, as evidenced by the friendly expressions on the staff. The spacious room and large bathtub are enough to relieve fatigue throughout the day, and I like the restaurant food. The proximity to the train station gives good transportation access. You may think the facility is a little old, but there is no inconvenience at all. Above all, I liked the bed. One thing is regrettable that there were no free drinks in the room.

AAnonymous UserOur room was not cleaned very well. On one of the towes there was lipstick from a previous guest. Many of the elements and details in the room were off or broken, which is not to be expected from a 4 star hotel. The windows had no nets to stop the flies. The person at the front desk asked me for a credit card for a deposit for the mini bar in the room. Although I told him I do not intend to use the mini bar, he insisted to provide a card in order to be able to check in and as I did not want to leave my card with anyone, he wrote down my card details. The room temperature can’t be controled and it was so hot, that at one point I woke up middle of the night and thought I had died and went in hell. There is nothing near the hotel so the only water you can buy is from the mini bar and it was extemely overpriced. The breakfast was pretty much the only thing on point as the waiters were very nice and polite! All in all, for the price which was the cheapest the hotel is an acceptable option in case you value your money and can close your eyes for a few things.
