"I heard that this place used to be run by a Korean owner, but they sold it to a Filipino and moved to Manila.
Many reviews mentioned ants, and while there were some ant trails in my room (near the door and by the bathroom window), they didn't bite or make the place feel dirty. In the Philippines, this is pretty normal, so I didn't mind it much.
The water pressure in the bathroom was good, and there was plenty of hot water, which drained well. The air conditioning worked great, and there was a ceiling fan, so it was nice and cool.
The staff were all incredibly friendly and efficient. The pool wasn't spotless, but it was large and pleasant to use. The location is good for walking, and even though it's a bit set back from the main road, there were enough tuk-tuks passing by that I had no trouble getting around.
The restaurant on the third floor was surprisingly good, so if you're feeling lazy and don't want to go out, I'd recommend checking it out. I had a great stay overall."

LLucy Ha 14The room was big and spacious! Lots of pools to swim in. Offered free afternoon tea/meriander which was lovely! Location is a little further from the city centre, but is a 10 mins scotter ride, they offer free bikes to ride.

AAnonymous UserBeautiful place with a clean beach and christal clear water, a good service and average food quality. Difficult to reach, but any transfer is perfectly organized by Hotel management.
As nice as the location is and understanding that they need to have a own power and water plant, complex logistics, it is in my personal opinion heavily overpriced. Breakfast and food quality in general is nothing special, but priced as 5 Star resort in the Maldives, where you are pampered like a king/queen.
A boats trip for 500€ with a ham and cheese toast and on a wooden junk cutter is just not worth, as nice as all staff is.
I enjoyed the time, but would not repeat it. There are much better value for money offers in this luxury category.

KKaliannaThe resort was on an isolated island. Took 20-min car ride from the airport and 45-min boat ride from the port to the island. Our room was supposed to be ocean view, just right behind the sunrise villas. Unfortunately, the trees have grown high & hardly can we see the ocean. So best to go to the beach and enjoy the sceneries there. Not worth paying extra, unless it's sunset villa. Breakfast was acceptable, but in-room dining service need improvement. Especially, the cleaning up part. The swimming pool is under maintenance and I thought seafood & sashimi would be good, but nope, which is a bit extra disappointing. However, the general experience was good since the staffs are very nice and polite. We received different types of local snacks daily and turned out the kitchen made Filipinos food better than international ones. For morning hiking to Eagle Point, it's not really worth it, unless you have a drone to have 360-degree view. Intended to rate 3.8/5, but I got to see the sea turtle so 4/5 ~

The staff is fantastic, especially the reception team: incredibly friendly, always ready to help, and full of great recommendations for restaurants and activities. Big thanks to them for that!
The restaurant service is good, but the food was underwhelming—breakfasts were quite basic. Only a few dishes on the menu were tasty; the rest need improvement. They should really revamp their offerings.
The rooms are spotless, and housekeeping does an excellent job. The pool looks beautiful and well-maintained, but there’s an issue with unpleasant odors from the port, which sometimes makes swimming less appealing. The gym is poorly equipped—it could use more machines or at least an Olympic bar.

LLeiahWe stayed at the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights and it was worth the money. The room was spacious and clean. Hot and cold shower was available. The staffs were very kind and accommodating to our needs. I was able to work for 1 night with their internet even if it was just around 8mbps but there will be times the internet will be out. If you get the other side of the hotel, you will get an amazing view of the mountain. Only downside of our stay was that my husband got diarrhea on the last day of our stay, it could be from the boat tours or may be from the hotel buffet since I was not able to eat some of the meals there while my husband did. But overall, the hotel stay was great! Hopefully Palawan solves this ongoing “diarrheic outbreak”. We were able to visit Puerto Princesa and El Nido before but never had the experience getting sick.

A great quiet place to rest in this town of Coron.
Bravo also for the cooking, the cooking is excellent !!
On the negative side, excursions to the islands are more expensive than in town ...

BBernard CharlesThe hotel is very good, I had room with a window and terrace giving a view on the green mountain. My room #511 was clean, spacious and comfy with a good bathroom well equipped. The swimming pool is not very big but agreable.The location is a bit far walking from the port and the sea. However, there are renting offices of motorbikes near the hotel. I booked at the hotel a Tour to the Coron island which was fantastic.
I recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserOverall, average hotel. I was disappointed and wouldn’t stay here again.
Room: stayed 5 nights. The room has a mold smell upon entering that persisted even with the bathroom door closed. The toilet also flushed very slow and sometimes required 2 flushes. Room was spacious, and otherwise quite clean and comfortable. Quite dated and furniture had lots of dings/scratches which doesn’t really matter.
Staff: I always try to be friendly to service workers because I know their work is hard. The staff I encountered seemed grossly disinterested. On the day of check in, I asked for some water (as I had to wait a few hours till check in), and was asked to pay 65 php for a bottle, but I witnessed another guest receive one for free. Not sure what happened. Also had some communication issues regarding laundry that I had done with the hotel. Perhaps the staff is overworked.. I didn’t experience the friendliness that other reviewers speak of.
I do want to shout out Mou, the activities/tour coordinator! She was very friendly, and helpful in planning my activities. She helped address an issue I encountered with my tour very promptly and efficiently. Thank you Mou!
Also thank you to the security guards who helped me call tricycles!
I wouldn’t stay here again, nor would I recommend anyone to stay here.
Suggestions: I think communication needs to be improved. If a staff member is busy, it is OK for them to let the guest know that it will be a moment. Would also recommend addressing the mold smell in room 320.

GGuest UserThe hotel was a bit far from town but always had tuktuks outside available to take you in. The pool was picturesque but the water a bit dirty as it's not a filter system. Still really fun to hang out by the pool! They had a Christmas Eve feast including a lechon roast and all of the food was amazing. The pool bar is cool, but they had run out of a lot of items during the Christmas holidays. They also had no scooters or motorbikes available to rent (again, holidays). I'd recommend!
