"I heard that this place used to be run by a Korean owner, but they sold it to a Filipino and moved to Manila.
Many reviews mentioned ants, and while there were some ant trails in my room (near the door and by the bathroom window), they didn't bite or make the place feel dirty. In the Philippines, this is pretty normal, so I didn't mind it much.
The water pressure in the bathroom was good, and there was plenty of hot water, which drained well. The air conditioning worked great, and there was a ceiling fan, so it was nice and cool.
The staff were all incredibly friendly and efficient. The pool wasn't spotless, but it was large and pleasant to use. The location is good for walking, and even though it's a bit set back from the main road, there were enough tuk-tuks passing by that I had no trouble getting around.
The restaurant on the third floor was surprisingly good, so if you're feeling lazy and don't want to go out, I'd recommend checking it out. I had a great stay overall."

LLucy Ha 14The room was big and spacious! Lots of pools to swim in. Offered free afternoon tea/meriander which was lovely! Location is a little further from the city centre, but is a 10 mins scotter ride, they offer free bikes to ride.

AAnonymous UserBeautiful place with a clean beach and christal clear water, a good service and average food quality. Difficult to reach, but any transfer is perfectly organized by Hotel management.
As nice as the location is and understanding that they need to have a own power and water plant, complex logistics, it is in my personal opinion heavily overpriced. Breakfast and food quality in general is nothing special, but priced as 5 Star resort in the Maldives, where you are pampered like a king/queen.
A boats trip for 500€ with a ham and cheese toast and on a wooden junk cutter is just not worth, as nice as all staff is.
I enjoyed the time, but would not repeat it. There are much better value for money offers in this luxury category.

GGuest UserThe bats and lizards on the island are the highlights. At sunset in the evening, the bats will leave the island to go out for food. Thousands of bats and the sunset take off, which is very spectacular. The hotel service is also good. When I return to the room at night, all the clothes are folded and the charging cable is rolled up and placed on the table. I live in a garden room. The room facilities are a little older, but overall it is comfortable. New houses are still being built on the island, and the new houses may be better. There are two restaurants on the island, one international restaurant and one Filipino restaurant. No brainer to go to the Filipino restaurant🍴

Room is large, unfortunately the view on the sea was obstructed by wide balcony walls, The pillows were uncomfortable. A thumb up for prompt housekeeping services. Breakfast buffet was basic. FFulgencio Pollocation is perfect just few block for a market and walking distance to the marina we're the boats for excursion is dock and load. The hotel accomodations is just basic small bed low and very thin mattress, pillow and blanket is excellent soft, water supply is abundant although electricity us intermitent on and off, our aircondition unit has been affected that doesn't giving cold air glad it was just out last night. pool is beautiful and cleaned , food for breakfast is superb better and giid quality selection. the staff are very polite and respectful, very helpful and get job done as much as possible, they pack a sandwich breakfast for us as we have early trip to El Nido that was very nice if rhem. The water supply is not drinkable so they provide bottled water and you can ask for a refill. They will give you a welcome drink of a fruit drink. This is really a good location, my only dislike is the bed, as it's very small when they say twin bed it is a twin bed, other than that it's ok. Yes its more pricey compare to the sorrounding hotel but the food and pool are the best.

The real positive is the swimming pool and its garden.
A great quiet place to rest in this town of Coron.
Bravo also for the cooking, the cooking is excellent !!
On the negative side, excursions to the islands are more expensive than in town ...

GGuest UserThis was such a lovely hotel. We needed it for only one night but we would’ve stayed longer if we could. The staff was kind, helpful, and efficient. The check-in was quick and memorable as they helped with our bags to the room and served a complimentary beverage as a welcome! The room was clean and nicely furnished. Lovely rooftop setting for the evening and sunset , and good food available for order. We loved the sunrise view and balcony the most!

GGuest UserThe hotel was a bit far from town but always had tuktuks outside available to take you in. The pool was picturesque but the water a bit dirty as it's not a filter system. Still really fun to hang out by the pool! They had a Christmas Eve feast including a lechon roast and all of the food was amazing. The pool bar is cool, but they had run out of a lot of items during the Christmas holidays. They also had no scooters or motorbikes available to rent (again, holidays). I'd recommend!

GGuest UserOverall, average hotel. I was disappointed and wouldn’t stay here again.
Room: stayed 5 nights. The room has a mold smell upon entering that persisted even with the bathroom door closed. The toilet also flushed very slow and sometimes required 2 flushes. Room was spacious, and otherwise quite clean and comfortable. Quite dated and furniture had lots of dings/scratches which doesn’t really matter.
Staff: I always try to be friendly to service workers because I know their work is hard. The staff I encountered seemed grossly disinterested. On the day of check in, I asked for some water (as I had to wait a few hours till check in), and was asked to pay 65 php for a bottle, but I witnessed another guest receive one for free. Not sure what happened. Also had some communication issues regarding laundry that I had done with the hotel. Perhaps the staff is overworked.. I didn’t experience the friendliness that other reviewers speak of.
I do want to shout out Mou, the activities/tour coordinator! She was very friendly, and helpful in planning my activities. She helped address an issue I encountered with my tour very promptly and efficiently. Thank you Mou!
Also thank you to the security guards who helped me call tricycles!
I wouldn’t stay here again, nor would I recommend anyone to stay here.
Suggestions: I think communication needs to be improved. If a staff member is busy, it is OK for them to let the guest know that it will be a moment. Would also recommend addressing the mold smell in room 320.
