Great
AAnonymous UserThe staffs were accommodating. Our room was upgraded to deluxe room. I highly recommend this place. Breakfast was good. Has free ride to coron proper. Our checkout was very smooth and the front desk assisted us for our airport transfer from the hotel. Will definitely book here again someday.
GGuest UserI rushed to the dive shop in town in the morning, but I learned that there was a typhoon and the coast guard refused to allow me to go to the wreck. They suggested that I go to this resort. This resort is right next to the wreck dive site and I can dive at any time, so I made a temporary reservation. of the order. The resort includes pick-up and drop-off. There is an office at the three-way intersection in the center of the town. The bus leaves at ten o'clock. I originally went for diving and didn't expect much from the hotel. Unexpectedly, the hotel was an unexpected surprise. The reception staff on the island were very enthusiastic. They were all smiling from the moment we picked people up from the pier. The scene was very much like being in Madai. One island and one hotel, the environment is very good, the architectural style is a bit like Six Senses, but for me the one drawback is that the room does not have air conditioning, although it is not very hot. The hotel provides three meals a day, but the catering is relatively simple, probably because there are not many guests and it is not a buffet. Each meal has three dishes, a salad, a main dish, and a seasonal vegetable. The taste is basically good. Dinner and dessert included ice cream. The owner and management of the resort are also very friendly. We drank and chatted at the rock bar and had dinner together. Finally, the important point is that I came here to dive, and I can say that this diving resort is definitely the best without even comparing it to Cologne Wreck Diving. Due to its unique geographical location, all dive shops in the town have to take more than an hour to get there by boat, and every person who dives can only hang out on the boat waiting for the next dive. Living here is different. The dive sites are all around the resort. You come back to rest after every dive. It feels like a PG. It is very comfortable and is especially friendly to people with seasickness. The dive guide Josh is a funny big boy. I also want to thank his father Ronaldo from Neptune Dive for recommending such a good diving resort to me.
TToddSpectacular, beautiful resort! Sorry I didn't have a date since this is truly a couples place. But I did enjoy the solitude, perfect beach and included snorkeling, and double bed hut right on the sand with wifi! Food is better than average for Philippines. Not sure how they even get the food here or how they could have built such a nice place on a deserted island (20 min boat ride from Basuanga airport after short van xfer). Beware there are a few thousand bats if you're in the main hotel and at dusk they kinda go nuts flying around...
笔笔尖戏子Super satisfied, highly recommend this hotel, the king of cost! Location: 5 minutes drive from Coron Town, 20-25P one person. Environment: The picture is consistent, we have set a deluxe room, although the hotel looks small, there is a hole in the sky, there is a beautiful swimming pool (free use of life jackets and ankles), as well as lounge chairs, swings, etc., elegant and pleasant. Service: The waiter is very polite, cleaning is super clean (remember to tip) Breakfast: The free breakfast is very rich, and it is not heavy every day, full! Equipment: There are safes, hair dryers, disposable toiletries, hot and cold water. From the hotel overlooking the sea, it is very beautiful, then the hotel also has a spa (on the opposite side of the two swings), behind the showcase selling jewelry in the hotel lobby is a small supermarket. If you want to buy daily necessities, but do not want to go to the town, go out of the hotel door and turn left to go 100 meters to have a canteen (cheap than the town), turn right is the road to the town. FFulgencio Pollocation is perfect just few block for a market and walking distance to the marina we're the boats for excursion is dock and load. The hotel accomodations is just basic small bed low and very thin mattress, pillow and blanket is excellent soft, water supply is abundant although electricity us intermitent on and off, our aircondition unit has been affected that doesn't giving cold air glad it was just out last night. pool is beautiful and cleaned , food for breakfast is superb better and giid quality selection. the staff are very polite and respectful, very helpful and get job done as much as possible, they pack a sandwich breakfast for us as we have early trip to El Nido that was very nice if rhem. The water supply is not drinkable so they provide bottled water and you can ask for a refill. They will give you a welcome drink of a fruit drink. This is really a good location, my only dislike is the bed, as it's very small when they say twin bed it is a twin bed, other than that it's ok. Yes its more pricey compare to the sorrounding hotel but the food and pool are the best.
CCris RuffoloI went on a 13-day trip around Palawan and Coron was my first stop from Cebu. In Coron, I stayed in Dayon Hostel. I was alone for the duration of my three-night stay in the six-bed female dorm. You can choose to lock the door at night for security. I made sure that I turned off the AC every time I went out.
The restrooms are clean especially the toilets although the shower rooms need to be upgraded as some showerheads do not function that well. It will also be nice if they do a thorough cleaning of the shower rooms and the sinks as they looked dirty and unkempt.
There is a restaurant on the rooftop but the options are limited. If you exit through the back, it leads you the main road where you will find a wonderful cafe that serves good sausage meals. There are also several local options available if you want affordable options.
The price I paid was worth the quality of the stay. The hostel is known by tour operators and guides and so it was not a challenge when it was time for pick-up and drop off.
I loved the staff especially when I had to leave early in the morning to head to the port for my trip to El Nido. They arranged my transportation and made sure that I left the hostel on time.
Will I go back? Maybe not and it's not because I don't like it. It's just that I felt that my next stay should be in a private room for another worthwhile experience in Coron. But for those solo travelers on a budget, Dayon Hostel is your best bet in Coron in as far as affordable sleeping option is concerned.
KKerysLocation of the hotel was very close to the town however our room (pool view) was at the top and with lots of bags it’s quite the climb due to all the stairs. The staff were friendly and the rooms was fairly clean Just outdated, the window in our bathroom wouldn’t shut causing lizards and other small bugs to come In the room and the water in the shower would occasionally run cold. Other than than the room was a decent size and we had a pleasant stay
JJulie AnnResort Review: MO2 Lagoon, Coron
I had a wonderful stay at MO2 Lagoon Coron! The food was absolutely delicious — every meal was a treat. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile. The amenities were top-notch, and the whole place had a peaceful, relaxing vibe that made it easy to unwind.
One highlight was when my phone accidentally got soaked — I asked the staff if they had rice to help dry it out, and they immediately gave me some without hesitation. That small act of kindness really made a difference and showed how attentive and helpful they are. Highly recommended if you're looking for a chill, worry-free getaway in Coron!
JjshoggStayed here due to lack of options frankly when booking a hotel for Coron. It obviously fancies itself as a nice resort but it's slightly on the tacky side. To be clear, the staff are very nice and check in was smooth. The pool area resembles that of a slightly tacky European resort and isn't as fancy as it wants to be. The breakfast was lacking and pretty basic. The room is nice and clean. The resort is a bit far out of the town but that's not a bad thing. A tricycle is 40 pesos per person. The hotel transfer from the airport was more expensive than hotels which are closer to the town and so further from the airport!
Overall it's fine but we stayed in another hotel in Coron after this one and preferred that one. I probably wouldn't stay here again. It's certainly not bad but not superb for the price.
GGuest UserGreat location - short walking distance to many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, ATM/banks, harbour for island hopping, tour agencies, market, etc. The staff are helpful, welcoming and accommodating. They serve a decent Filipino buffet breakfast (6:30-9:00am) that will surely fill you up for your adventures. This hotel has an elevator, which is convenient. They offer a safe for your valuables at the reception (not in the rooms), and they keep them safely. The only downside is the WiFi is only available in the lobby and dining area and not in the rooms, but this wasn’t a problem for us. One problem for us is the smell from the pipes in the bathroom (sometimes), but the overall cleanliness is good. I would go back and stay in this property again. FYI, we stayed in Room SK, which was quite big with a balcony (great for hanging your wet stuff from island hopping - ask for a portable stand hanger).
