The hotel is built on a slope, so the entrance and exit routes require climbing stairs all the time. I booked 8 rooms with two small beds on the website, but only 2 were left when I arrived. The others were all rooms with double beds. In the end, I was forced to stay in a room with 4 people. It caused a lot of trouble in terms of accommodation arrangements, and I was very angry. The room was large and an extra bed was added. Cleaning is very clean. Free drinking water, welcome fruit, small biscuit desserts every day (but not Chinese taste, too sweet). There is a restaurant on the island, the taste is OK, the food is salty. Breakfast is generally the same, the style is relatively small. The service is very good and everyone is very friendly. The scenery on the island is very good, you can snorkel near the beach, all kinds of fish 🐠. You can also play canoe, very good 👍. Just do a good job of sun protection. The island also provides classic routes to play, you can charter a boat, the price is much more expensive than the town, but the service is better.

I like it very much. The breakfast and restaurant food are also delicious. The service staff are very friendly. The hotel also provides airport pick-up and drop-off services, which is very convenient and you can see the sunset.

We stayed at this hotel for five days and four nights. When we arrived, we were very happy being given a big air-conditioned room on the third floor with a queen-size bed, a mini sala, a balcony, a toilet and a shower room in one with both a shower box and a bathtub. There was also a TV with cable channels, a safety box and a small fridge. Everything would have been great except that there was a five-hour power interruption and the hotel's generator was not working. That same night there was another power interruption, which kept us awake and we had no other choice but wait for the power supply to be restored. At any rate, the hotel's generator was fixed on our third day of stay. This hotel must have had its heyday in the past, but now it looks kinda old and outdated. It has no elevator and the premises (particularly the corridors) look more like those of a hospital. The facilities are also old and worn out (like the room carpet, the sofa in our room, etc.). The linen and towels also need to be changed. Once in a while there's also some problem with the water pressure and the cable channels. There's also no WIFI in the rooms. You need to go to the reception area to get a signal. On the positive side, this hotel's location is great. Everything is just a stone's throw away from it ... travel agencies, public market, bars, restaurants, van terminal, and so forth. The price of the accommodation is also economical and the staff try to respond as promptly as possible to your needs as much as they can.

I booked two rooms and had to comment again; the biggest advantage of the hotel is its good location, near the town center, near the pier, and near the Cross Hills; the internet on the island is very poor, and the hotel's wifi is useless It is a common problem in Palawan and even the Philippines. There is nothing to complain about; it is difficult to accept that I have not cleaned for three days and have not changed my bed linen.

Absolutely fantastic!! Judith and her husband are the most amazing and genuine hosts! The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The Riverhouse is a bit out of the way from town so we had all our meals in-house and we couldn’t be happier with the vast menu, and delicious, home made quality of everything we ordered. The views from the breakfast terrace were stunning especially at sunrise. Kayaking on the river was a serene experience, but our private boat out to a secluded island with a private beach was definitely the highlight of our stay! They even packed us a picnic lunch to enjoy on the beach! Judith even helped us book massages right in our room. Overall such a relaxing, serene visit for our family! We will definitely return!
