The villa was big and spacious fully equipped with a karaoke set, billiard table, and a nice pool with floats!
Downside:
The check-in process for me was a bit messy as I could only reach the location after their staff were gone. Only managed to resolve everything with the help of a local as they seemed to have some difficulty responding in English or via the Trip chat when compared to other hotels I’ve booked.

Guest UserThe room isn't big and the facilities are a bit old, but the location makes up for it. Just cross the road from the hotel and you're at Bang Saen Beach, known as Bangkok's backyard. The long sandy beach, people exercising in the morning, kids playing in the evening, various water activities, all topped off with a stunning sunset, really help you overlook the hotel's older amenities. Just remember to bring your own toiletries. The breakfast buffet is decent. You can also walk to nearby popular cafes for a light meal and just gaze out at the sea. If you walk a few minutes from the hotel's parking lot, there's a northeastern Chinese restaurant that's quite popular with the locals.

Guest UserOverall, the room was reasonably clean and the AC was cold. There was a faint musty smell in the room. The breakfast was pretty standard, not bad and acceptable. However, there was a staff member, possibly a maintenance person, that I saw eating breakfast with the guests. He used his bare hands to pick up bread instead of the tongs provided by the hotel. It left a bad impression, as if he didn't care about the guests' feelings, especially since everyone else was using the tongs. It might seem like a minor thing to him, but to me, it felt unsanitary and inappropriate.

The whole hotel has a great atmosphere. It's an old building with outdated facilities and the water has a bad smell, but the children are very happy here because the staff are very good in all aspects. There is also a small swimming pool, which is very happy.

Anya DiaryThis is my first time staying at The Calm Hotel. I like it. The hotel design is beautiful, the room is clean, the bed is comfortable, the air conditioner is cool. There is a small swimming pool, breakfast is provided, and the hotel has a parking lot.
It is in a good location, convenient, there are many things to buy, just cross the street and you will reach the beach.
But one thing is that there are many restaurants and bars in this area, so at night, the music can be heard in the room.
