"The hotel parking is convenient, and it's directly opposite the Turpan Railway Station entrance. There's also a dried goods market and several eateries just across another road, although only one was open due to the Chinese New Year holidays. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport, which is great for transfers. If you want to visit the city center, you'll need to take a taxi for about 10 kilometers. The hotel itself is quite large, and the rooms are spacious with big, comfortable beds. Again, no breakfast due to the New Year period. For those with layovers, this place is a solid choice – it's only a 10-15 minute drive from the airport. Check out the photos and videos for more details!"

"Excellent stay, convenient location, close to restaurants and to pedestrian streets where you can have a walk in the evening, they offer a large range of freshly cooked choices for breakfast, with local and western styles. But on the top of this, what really made my experience was the attention and helpfulness of the staff even before I reached the hotel. As a solo, independent traveller, that was the cherry on the top. Highly recommended."

"I stayed at this hotel with my dog. It's located in an old street with Xinjiang-style architecture. The room even had a long balcony, which was great for enjoying the view in the morning. There are also plenty of food options right next to the hotel. The front desk staff was very kind. Even though she was a little scared of my dog, she still wanted to pet his head a lot. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Turpan with their pet!"

"Conveniently located about 20 minutes walk from Turpan Museum and under half an hour taxi ride from airport, train station and Jiaohe, the hotel was great value w very big room and bed, nice walk-in shower and very helpful front desk staff. Breakfast was disappointing being a massive restaurant and by 9.45 most of the Chinese buffet items had finished and staff were slow to top up. There was no tea or coffee available at breakfast either. The coffee shop in the lobby looked very enticing and comfortable, but this is a separate franchise and for some reason was not open all day or even at 11.00 in the morning."

"I was quite surprised to find a Wyndham Grand Laguna in Turpan. The hotel building is beautiful, with a very exotic feel. In Turpan, a small city in northern Xinjiang, it felt strangely more like southern Xinjiang. The mattress in the room was very comfortable, and the decor was beautiful. As a premium member, I was pleasantly upgraded to a higher room type and given welcome fruit. The hotel's public area is a highlight, with a beautiful, high-ceilinged lobby. It's perfect for taking photos and has a unique character! The outdoor pool is also very beautiful, but I didn't have time to swim. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful, explaining the hotel's activities and giving me a very warm farewell upon departure. Xiao Mu at the front desk was very attentive! Overall, it was a very good stay."

"The hotel accepts foreigners (as of June 2025). The location is fairly convenient, though not very central. There are shops and restaurants nearby, and even a night market. The room was large and with all the necessary amenities in good condition. The only issue was that the toilet wasn't cleaned well on the first day. The staff was kind. It is possible to store your bag for free. Overall, a good option for foreigners, especially as the hotels available for them in Turpan are limited."

"At the entrance of the Youth Hostel is a row of mulberry trees, successfully realizing the freedom of mulberry, and eating cool! The proprietress was very enthusiastic and told us where there were small white apricots to pick. It was near the Youth Hostel. There were indeed many. There was still a little sour and the big one was very sweet! The bosses organized barbecues and invited us to eat together, a super good experience! Also lent us an electric car to facilitate our travel. Stay here next time you come to Turpan!"

"I never knew real jujubes tasted like this! I grew up in a jujube-producing region in Hebei, but this is truly the first time I've had such delicious jujubes. They don't look great, like second-grade fruit, and they feel hard to the touch, but they're not hard when you eat them. The flesh is thick, firm, and has a sweetness like honey dates. The hotel was only 200 yuan, including breakfast. The room was fully smart, controlled by a Xiao Du smart speaker. I feel that, apart from the variety of breakfast, it's no less impressive than a Hampton Inn."

"Simply great place! Excellent value for money, the place is full of beautiful vineyards of grapes, the place looks like in a fairy tale. There is a shuttle that comes quickly and efficiently. The room in the shape of a wine barrel is great and clean, the staff is very nice and efficient, they helped us quite a bit. The breakfast is great and varied and there are also vegetarian options. There is a possibility of free laundry, and the reception is really available 24/7. The winery tour was beautiful and the long canal is very impressive. The shuttle from the train to the hotel and from the hotel to the train worked great. To improve - the pool was dirty throughout our stay, other than that it is just an amazing place! We will be back again in the future"
