ć ć youngI had a wonderful time staying at this hotel on my first trip to Turpan, Xinjiang. I had a very comfortable three-night stay. The room was warm and clean. The interior design was beautiful throughout the hotel. The restaurant staff, room service staff, and even the security guard at the entrance were all very friendly. However, I wish the young women at the front desk had been more welcoming.đ

GGuest UserThe locations is nice, close to or in the grape valley, service is friendly, we stayed at the family room which is a duplex and had a good sleep. For the high price of 1.200 Yuan would have expected lights at entrance area of complex, more luxurious reception area (currently more Chinese boarding house style), bedside tables with lights, more than a basic breakfast.
Itâs a nice place for 300-500 max, for 1200 you usually get a luxury resort and service in China.

GGuest UserThe hotel's own vineyard, offering free fruit picking, is probably its biggest draw. The service was okay, both the girls and the guys were pleasant. Cleanliness was OK. However, the amenities weren't great. I was unlucky to choose a family room on the third floor, but the air conditioning wasn't cooling, and the shower pressure wasn't strong enough, making it a real problem for summer travelers. I've read reviews of the breakfast being generous, but that's an exaggeration. The watermelon didn't even feel fresh (this was in Xinjiang in the summer, which is when fruit is plentiful). Also, the coffee was expensive, at 24 yuan for an iced Americano (though I'm not sure about prices at other coffee shops in Turpan).

GGuest UserThe hotel's service really impressed me. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I could feel the enthusiasm and professionalism of the staff. The reception staff at the front desk were friendly and kind, and the check-in procedure was efficient and fast. They also introduced me to the various facilities and services of the hotel in detail. The hotel's room service is also very attentive. The room is cleaned on time every day, towels and toiletries are replaced, and the room is always kept clean and tidy. Moreover, the staff will provide personalized services according to the needs of the guests, and I am very satisfied with the hotel's catering. The breakfast options are rich and varied, including Chinese porridge, steamed buns, stir-fried vegetables, and Western-style bread, milk, coffee, salad, etc., to meet the taste needs of different guests. The price/performance ratio of this hotel is very high. Not only does it provide excellent service and comfortable accommodation, the price is also very reasonable. Compared with hotels of the same level, this hotel is more affordable and has better details. Whether you are traveling for business or vacation, you will not be disappointed if you choose this hotel.

SStuart McD.Lee was a great host, speaks excellent English, and was very helpful with suggestions on both things to do around Turpan and also border crossing how to info. The dorm was clean, and supplied with clean linen (make your own bed), and with an attached hot water bathroom. The lodgings are simple, but thereâs plenty of space, and upon arrival I was invited to eat dinner (pictured) with Lee and some other guestsâdelicious! After dinner they screened a movie on an exterior wall.
The location is midway between the station and Turpan proper, neither of which are comfortable walking distance, but taxis are cheap and easy to get. The hostel is within easy walking distance of one of the very interesting water irrigation museums, and thereâs a good Uighur restaurant about ten minutes away on foot.
If youâre on a budget, looking for a âtraveller vibeâ style place, and donât mind the slightly out of the way location, this is a great option. Would stay here again.

22morrowsworldThis 4 star hotel has a goid rating on Trip.com and I can understand why. However, I liken this hotel to a 20 year old luxury car such as an E36 7 series BMW or Lexus LS 430. Exceptional and glorious when new, but getting old and tired fast.
On a superficial level the rooms look grand and sumptuous, but on greater scrutiny there are issues. One if these are the carpets, which are either in dire need of steam cleaning on a forensic level of thoroughness, or outright replacement. Some sections are worn and faded, while many odd bits and pieces can be found (and felt with bare feet), that seem to have escaped the attention of the room staff, e.g toothpicks, other miscellaneous refuse deposited by previous guests.
I booked a continental double room, for $68 AUD per night and there was a misalignment of the door with its frame. Large enough to see through to the outside! The room contained a sofa Comfortable enough but with fabric badly worn away. The white veneer paint on tables has seen better days.
Having said all this, overall, the hotel offers rooms of a relatively high standard. Ornate furnishings, large, extremely comfortable beds and pillows, a huge bathroom with sufficient water pressure and responsive hot water on demand (bathroom has a smart lighting arrangement which switches on via a sensor).
There are a dozen individual controls for room lighting. Lots of cupboards and drawers and powerpoints where needed. There is a gym but for some undisclosed reason is currently closed, of February 2024. Is a buffet style restaurant with several guests dining in it which looked very well staffed. Reception will go out of their way to give assistance with arranging tours, ordering taxis etc, and try to ensure guests are satisfied. In summary, the hotel looks good and to some extent is good, but may not be worth paying $50 US a night to stay in and was a little disappointing.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location, easy to find on the main road, with a parking lot, convenient parking. The room is spacious and has new facilities. The room is clean and sanitary. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the sink meets hotel standards. The bedding is also very good, and the sleep is very comfortable. The hotel has a washing machine for washing clothes, and the cost performance is very high. I stayed there for a few days while playing in Turpan. The Xinjiang girl at the hotel front desk was warm and polite, and the check-in experience was very good!

RRoszaimyCouldnât be happier with the stay. Arrived early morning at Turpan rail station and the owner granted early checkin without a fuss. Super convenient given the tiring overnight train journey. Owner was also kind enough to arrange for tour driver for one day sightseeing. The area is awesome! Next door is a local vegetable and fruit shop where things can be purchased super cheaply. Bought a large watermelon (in season) and the owner lent a knife to cut it open. Delicious! The room is great; well appointed, clean, breezy. Only slight issue with the bathroom where the water didnât drain fast enough so need to shower carefully to prevent overflow into the room. Overall, it was a stay well beyond expectation. The owner was super nice and helpful.
