"I saw a promotion for this hotel on Xiaohongshu and thought it looked great, so I immediately booked a room, arriving with high expectations. After a long journey, the staff told us there was construction outside our room and asked if we wanted an upgrade, saying we could see the room first before deciding. It was also a dark, cold, and rainy day. Honestly, if a room is going to negatively impact the guest experience, especially on a weekday when the hotel isn't fully booked, the hotel should proactively switch the room for the guest. This is the only hotel I've ever encountered where, when the room type isn't ideal, guests are expected to pay extra to upgrade. The hotel shouldn't pass on the cost of being a 'victim' (due to construction) to its guests. Regarding the environment, when I opened the curtains, I could indeed see villas being built directly opposite, with construction workers visibly moving around. The road outside the hotel was also under repair. The overall experience was quite poor. As for the facilities, although the hairdryer was a Dyson, it was missing its attachment, making it difficult to style my hair. The hinge on the bathroom glass door was broken, causing it to make a super loud noise when opening and closing, and I even thought it was completely broken and couldn't be opened or closed properly. The same applied to the walls. Overall, the service felt superficial. Constantly asking 'how was your stay?' when they knew there was construction going on doesn't automatically equate to good service."

"We arrived in Wuyi city in the morning after leaving Hangzhou, and the hotel staff kindly arranged an early check-in for us. They even provided teas and welcome fruits and kindly explain how to get the entrance of Wuyi mountain from XIAOWU, which was incredibly helpful. But above all, the hotel itself was the highlight. It was spotless and easily the most memorable place we stayed during our 10-day trip in China. The room was very clean and we were received with a great hospitality. The rooms are set up in a luxurious way like a classy hotel. Although it is not a state-of-the-art hotel like big cities, it provides optimized design and five-star hotel services for Mt. Wuyi travel. If I visit Wuyi mountain again with my parents in the future, I’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality!"

"The hotel facilities were good, and the service was warm. Perhaps we were unlucky; we encountered a Mercedes-Benz tour group, and the hotel was a bit full, so breakfast was a little chaotic, and housekeeping wasn't prompt. We left at 9:30 am and returned at 3 pm, and the room still hadn't been cleaned. Everything else was good. It's close to the scenic area, the decor is new, the internet speed is fast, and screen mirroring is comfortable. The sofas were especially comfortable, the water temperature and pressure were good, and the air conditioning was good; the room temperature could be set to a very comfortable level."

"Very good location which is about 1.5 km from south entrance to Wuyishan park and Impressions Dahongpao theatre. We actually walked to there. There’s a MacDonald across the main road opposite the hotel. We came to the hotel from Wuyishan North Station and went to Nanping Station on departure. The hotel is equidistant from both stations. Hotel staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was adequate. We also enjoyed their buffet dinner which had a wide spread of Chinese & Western menu, plus a sashimi & sushi counter. Overall, value for money and a pleasant stay."

"Even before I checked in, they proactively reached out to ask for my arrival details and provided clear directions to the property. Upon arrival, I was immediately presented with a thoughtful welcome gift bag. They provide a tea set and table for guests to brew tea, and there's a washing machine and dryer available on the second floor – super convenient for laundry, so no worries about getting clothes clean and dry! The location is excellent! It's situated right within the Sangu Resort Area, making it easy to head to Sangu Night Market in the evening for some food and shopping. Plus, it's very close to the main scenic spots, just a short taxi ride (under ten minutes) away! The environment is fantastic, and it's kept spotlessly clean. The entire place has a very warm and inviting atmosphere. The lovely ladies at the front desk were also incredibly friendly and provided excellent service! 🤩 (They even offer parcel storage, which is a huge bonus!!!) These are my actual photos! The moment I walked in, I was absolutely charmed by the cute rabbit! 🥰"

"Beautiful hotel in a central location in the town with many restaurants and amenities nearby. Short didi ride to the south entrance of wuyishan. Staff were very helpful, I left my phone charger in the room and they arranged for it to be delivered to my next hotel in Fuzhou."

"A perfect trip to Wuyi Mountain, and choosing Wuyi Villa was a wise decision. This is an older, well-established state guesthouse, offering not only beautiful surroundings but also outstanding service. From the moment we checked in, the staff welcomed us, helped with our luggage, and introduced the hotel facilities. Later, while exploring the hotel's wooded areas, a staff member proactively offered to tell us more about the area. We felt genuinely touched and welcomed. The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel is just a stone's throw from the Wuyi Palace transfer point. The breakfast was also excellent and varied. Next time I visit Wuyi Mountain, I'll definitely choose to stay here again."

"Located in the Sangu Resort Area, this guesthouse boasts a prime location, just 600 meters from the main street and a 6-minute drive from the scenic area. Restaurants are right across the street, and the surrounding area offers a wealth of dining, entertainment, and other amenities. The bamboo rafting dock is a short drive away, and transferring to the scenic area shuttle bus is convenient. Facilities: The guesthouse is fully equipped. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and include a tea table. Service: The owners are warm and friendly, providing attentive service. A welcome gift and a generous breakfast are also provided. The rooms are clean and tidy, the bathroom is odor-free, and the bedding is soft, comfortable, and hygienic."

"Received a pleasant upgrade upon checking in! However as the room was not ready yet, the staff were kind enough to share with me all the tips to visit the various attractions over a nice introduction of their wide selection of tea. After checking in, I noticed that the room was full of basic necessities readily available for your usage and also had a good assortment of snacks which were replenished daily. Special mention to 小燕子 and 小敏 who were very hospitable and took great care of my stay throughout. 💯"

"Honestly, I'm speechless. This is genuinely the most comfortable B&B I've ever stayed at, with practically no downsides whatsoever. Following recommendations was truly the best decision I made this time. The B&B itself, from its exterior and the surrounding environment to the lobby's interior and even the rooms, all exude a distinct charm and elegance. It's incredibly beautiful and *Instagrammable*, making it perfect for young travelers. Plus, the bay window in our room looked exactly like its photos online – it was so stunning, I just had to lie on the bed and snap countless pictures. The cleanliness, facilities, service, and overall environment were all absolutely impeccable. Aside from the doors being a *tad* loud when closing, this minor issue was easily overshadowed by all the positives. The various complimentary souvenirs and free services offered fantastic value for money. It's genuinely perfect for first-time visitors to Wuyi Mountain, and the price is quite reasonable as well. To sum it up, it's simply amazing. I genuinely loved it, and if I ever return to Wuyi Mountain, I would absolutely choose to stay here again."
