"I had originally planned to visit at the end of June, but due to a typhoon, I postponed it to the end of August. The air here is very fresh, and the humidity is quite high, making it a bit stuffy. It's sunny in the morning, followed by a brief downpour in the afternoon, which is quite interesting. The hotel is located on a small lane in the Sangu Resort, offering a quiet escape while still being easy to find and conveniently located. If you're visiting the Wuyi Mountain scenic area, you can take the free Route 16 bus from the North Gate (Wuyi Palace) for two stops (to the last stop), and the hotel is less than 100 meters walk from there. The breakfast is quite decent; it can't compare to a five-star hotel, of course, but having freshly ground coffee makes it good value for money. There's a small outdoor pool at the hotel entrance, which is great for families with children. The housekeeper was very nice, with an excellent service attitude and a warm personality ❤️. All in all, I made the right choice this time, highly recommended!"

Many other star hotels I've stayed at charge for their laundry rooms, but everything here is free. It truly lives up to its star hotel status. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip."

"This is my first time writing a detailed review, and I even took photos to warn others. I booked two twin rooms for a family trip with seniors. First, the good points: the hotel's garden view is nice, and a young lady proactively helped with our luggage when we arrived – then immediately started pushing tour guides and tea. 🙈 After checking in and getting to the rooms, my mood instantly soured. There was a faint, lingering bad smell, and the upholstered headboard had a noticeable yellow stain, like head grease. The lampshades were dusty, and the window glass was so dirty it obscured the view. A sign advertised instant noodles and drinks at double the price, claiming it included a service fee – even delivery food with a delivery fee isn't this expensive. This hotel truly exudes a 'rip-you-off' ambition at every turn. When I went out for a walk, I was approached by an old man on an electric scooter who immediately asked, 'Do you want a ride to the scenic area entrance?' After declining, he seamlessly transitioned to, 'Would you like to try some local tea?' My good impression of Wuyi Mountain instantly vanished. Then came the main event at night. The showers in both rooms drained poorly, so we could only take a quick rinse with a weak stream. The air conditioning was useless; it didn't heat at all. It was cold in the mountains at night, so we slept in our coats. And in one room, the toilet was clogged. It was late at night, and I felt uncomfortable calling the front desk, so I had to use the public restrooms. What a truly 'splendid' experience. All show and no substance, paying good money for misery. I won't be coming back."

I initially had some reservations because the hotel was renovated in 2019, so I thought it might be a bit old. However, after checking in, I was very pleasantly surprised. The lobby manager, Wu Qiong, contacted us in advance and arranged a room with a balcony for us, as per our request (because my husband smokes). We could contact her anytime if we needed anything, and we're very grateful for that. The hotel is very convenient for dining, accommodation, and entertainment. The breakfast was rich and varied. The room was spacious and clean, and the bedding was comfortable. From the balcony, you could look up and see Dawang Peak, and it was only a few minutes' drive to the south entrance of the Wuyi Mountain scenic area. The front desk, housekeeping, and other services were also excellent. We stayed for two nights, and next time we visit Wuyi Mountain, the C&D Hotel will definitely be our first choice."
