I traveled to Old Kapok Cloud Art Village in July 2025 with my 18 year old son and three nephews during a month-long trip to China. Everyone agreed that our brief stay there was their favorite part of the entire trip! They all said they want to return and stay much longer than 2 days. It is absolutely beautiful, meticulously clean, interesting, and the most special location. The breakfast was delicious and the people there were so friendly and helpful with all of our requests. My son and his cousins quickly befriended one of the staff and hope that they can keep in touch in the future. I cannot say enough good things about all aspects of our visit. We chose that location because it is close to the tea plantation that surrounds the hotel grounds, but our stay within the Kapok Village hotel was as wonderful as the tea plantation experience itself.  This is a 5-star experience that will leave a life-long impression. They offer not only a comfortable, elegant setting, they mix that with gracious hosting. Thank you for the most wonderful experience for my family!

The hotel is in a great location, on a hilltop in the Green Expo Park. The house design is also very unique, very comfortable to live in, and the area is large. The service of the girl at the front desk was very good. The air in Guizhou is really good. It's a pity that I couldn't stay in this hotel for a few more days because of my schedule. I hope to have the opportunity to come again in the future.

After staying for two days, I felt that the facilities were quite new at the beginning, and the overall impression was OK. The next day, I recorded a video to the front desk to reflect the door lock. The male boss quibbled that it was all the same, saying that the physical lock was useless. The power outage came automatically. Finally, after repeated tossing more than 20 times, it was completely out of power. During the period, the female boss proposed to change the room, but because there were too many things, I didn't want to pack it twice, and refused.
